The upgrade is great. The historical sites should be renovated.

As I have consistently maintained, the initiation of renovations at Fortaleza Ozama is a commendable step towards transforming this landmark into a destination that can be appreciated by a diverse audience. The presentation was quite rudimentary; it would be beneficial to focus more on the site’s extensive history. It is my aspiration that future renditions will more effectively capture the essence of this historic site.

I think the upgrade is correct. When finish i know i enjoy it, because im a daily visitor to colonial zone. As a ciclist, i know i enjoy the new streets termination. Yesterday i visit the fortaleza ozama and i wacht the show on the walls of the fortaleza. I think that show was extremely basic, almost made for non thinker people. Really i spected more, but thats is the current style of the entire dominican educational sistem.
Hopefully they can continue to improve the overall experience!

I remember seeing something similar for the first time in Santiago 7 years ago at their city expo - the images plus cool music were projected onto the monument. It was excellent.
Why is it so hard to find a diet soda in Santo Domingo??
I don't think Dominicans like the artificial taste of diet soda. Our coke is made with REAL sugar (not high fructose corn syrup), and diet soda is also made with artificial sweeteners. I'm of the opinion that Dominicans simply enjoy the taste of regular soda.
