One of the other things about people wearing clothes they've 'worn in', I think, is just that it really conveys they like it and it works for them. Not just cycling through new stuff to 'find' something or whatever it is, but there's a confidence that comes through in knowing what you're into.

Also, natural fibers (comfort is a big factor) and color layering, not so much black.

Percia, you are amazing! I am a 61 year old woman, I live in Metro Detroit. I have basically had the same style of dress since the 80's. I mix old with new, I am a size 16, so I have had to learn what works for me. I have things made, a lot of Asian street style that I order, 3D wool coats, jackets with midi skirts, etc. Thank you for this "shout out" to us older people! I get a lot of compliments on my look. It is really cool to be acknowledged by younger people, like youself!

Barely diving into the video so I have a feeling this might get covered in the video and I’m just commenting prematurely, but the question of how did you get to the point of consistently coming off uncertain / lacking objectivity- I’d say these traits at times could be the hallmarks of just thinking and answering with more consideration and care. A professor once said if you ask a child what color is the sky, they’ll certainly say blue at an instant. If you ask the expert, they’ll hesitate and then say “well that depends on where we are on the world and what time of day it is, perhaps enquire for details of the season and then maybe never answer the question to begin with lol.

U did great! I have been enjoying watching your videos. I’m learning about my style as you’ve been sharing about yours. That including -embracing natural facial features! We have similar eye shapes and natural dark shadows. I found that when I brought my concealer right up to my lash line it actually made my eyes look smaller (which was not the look I was going for). So I ended up putting a bit of brown shadow on my lower lash line and concealing just the outline of my undereye bag. Makeup can be a a bit annoying to learn haha. But I looked more like me on my wedding day! Oh n I used Wayne Goss’s undereye concealer vid - it saved me big time. Anywho. Keep up the good work! -Random person on RUclips 🙂

I love the pants! If I were getting married, I'd def wear those. I like the coat too. My advice--wear a spaghetti strap top, tucked in or meeting at the waistband of the pants (not longer!), then wear the coat open over that. The little top could also be beige crushed velvet--wear velvet flat shoes too. The tops you tried on were not it. Or, Imagine that first jacket with white embroidery instead of black--and cropped! That would work too. (The shoulders on both embroidered pieces were too big, falling off your shoulders).
