Thanks, according to Yeah racing product description it is compatible with Futaba transmitter. I don’t have futaba 4pv, included 3 adaptors one for futaba, I didn’t have chance to test the fitting very sorry.

Thanks, i was really experimenting with my tank, add enamel black panel line first then lighter dark brown (panel line), mix water water base paint to match IDF color slightly darker and applying (very tin layer) slight airbrush over it. On the metal parts i added flat clear coat (hardware rattle spray can) to protect to paint from scratches, after that you can still add more panel line if you want to get more detail on that section.

The price of the professional version i got is price around $350 usd dollar, seller depends on the country you are from, good reference to check out are toucan hobby, motion rc and aliexpress.

Tires, depends on the surface, most of the drift tires are solid hard plastic with different traction levels, for example yokomo drc tires design for tiles, ds racing lf3 are design also for tiles or carpet, most often i buy from RCmart or asiatees if you live near asia, for US market super G or Amain hobbies, most common brands are yokomo, mst, ds racing and reve d.

I suggest you have picture of items you need, it would be faster, they do speak basic English, super-rc.co.jp/rc/, try to google translate the web page, so you have ideas on prices and stock availability before you visit the store.

Thanks for the info, you are correct the receiver that is included design for longer range or large scale rc, I usually have 1/10 scale touring, drift, radiolink need to come out with a smaller receiver good for indoor and smaller scale rc, they have for now the r8fg v 2.1 and micro size receiver with a faster latency, the version 1.0 like r4fg or older models are for 1/10 scale but slower latency, most of my group leave the radio on using the rc set up bench require your radio to be on to correct our steering alignments, cambers, toe and esc boost, timing, curves and calibrations (most offen Drift and touring), and (indoor race) participants are close together using the indoor pit table, and official video radiolink rc8x already informed that signal block does happen with this model. And thank you for letting me know they have new 1.2.5 firmware update available.

@@oliverstoys8411 I went about a year ago and Super Rajikon do a weird thing at the till, rather than deduct tax and you pay x. You pay the full amount, then they issue a refund on the tax. As above just need your passport.

Thanks for your feedback back, the point of the build is cheapest possible electronics, my goal is just to get to the rc touring experience, with minimal budget (left over parts from other projects), $140 usd car need a cheap setup, instead of spending for a tamiya TT02 kit, with this price of chassis i want to experience the type of feel of the car, I can’t do serious racing because i no good under pressure, and average cost for setup station would cost more than the chassis. For your easier going into the hobby there is no cheap ! Money rules !If you dont have money for the best parts you wont have a good expirience ! Trust me now and you wont regre it ! Tamiya is a million percent worst than this one ! It dosent matter what it cost i am telling you again ! If you want actual budget tools, there are some choices other than hudy with their compromises ! I can help you make a video but this one is all wrong ! Some people or more people will see it and this differently for this car ! I have raced it and my lap times were really close to my xray t4 21 with the same electronics ! See the common ground between the 2?ELECTRONICS !

I am glad you a contented with your radio, everyone have different opinions about this radio, but i am not the only person who very disappointed with this radio, many prominent youtube content creator stop using it after they review it (sponsored), because of weird issues and underwhelming performance compare to other with the same price range, radiolink does perform well in other type of vehicle (like crawler, slow rc and basher) but not what i commonly use. In the end of the day what makes you happy thats all it matters.

For me Asiatees are pretty reliable, the only issues i have with them are some product imperfections (mst unbalance and deformed wheels) and (kyosho kits) missing parts, which usually not asiatees fault, requesting replacement or missing parts can be full filled as long as you complain not longer than a month or earlier at best, this annoying if you are located far away from asia because of the longer wait time.

@oliverstoys8411 okay ill definitely keep that in mind because i just got a drift car and was thinking of getting some wheels and tires from them since there pricing is pretty good. Thank you for the quick reply to specially being on a older video.

I do not have another unit to do another test, the early release r8fg version 1.0 has a response time of 14ms (release before Feb 6 2023)which has identical speed with the older radio from radiolink, i do have r6fg but still have the version 1.3 which also have the maximum 14ms latency, radiolink release a updated receiver r8fg version 2.1 which I acquired and done some test in this video, now set to 3ms and updated firmware nov 2023, rc8x does improved a little but not as good compare to flysky nb4 and sanwa MT44, in regards to signal block, the two antennas of the r8fg give a long performance in range, but not suitable for indoor 1/10 or smaller rc, if you are close enough you get signal block or blind spot. You can check out Radiolink youtube channel explaining there signal block issues and also on there website explaining older version r8FG v1.0, (website rc8x directory under firmware) if you have any receiver with 1.3 version or lower the max latency 14ms. There several well known youtube influencers (endorser) who got the radio for free, after few months, they stop using the radio because slow responses, some of them commented “ i don’t feel connected with the car using this radio”, if your intention is just to enjoy your rc cars, none competitive racing the rc8x should do job.

@@mrpotatoheadracing I am glad you are ok with the performance of your radio, even the manufacture claim to be faster 3ms doesn’t mean it’s going to performance what it say, unless you where able to compare it with other high performance brands out there, I just saying even with the newest November 2023 firmware and the new 2.1 receiver, to my opinion the RC8X still slower and very sluggish compare to the nb4 standard setting (not even the one way fast mode) and older mt44 transmitter, as long you are not doing any competitive racing you are good, and the end of the day if you are happy with what you are using and satisfied with the performance that all that matters 👍🏻.

All I do is competitive racing.

I really love my NB4 love the design too, the only disadvantage for me the brightness display, which need to be brighter for outdoor very sunny 🌞 use, the display of the radiolink rc8x look amazing because of the vibrant color and update graphics but the overall speed, efficiency and reliability goes to NB4 in my opinion.

just installed the latest 1.2.0 firmware, did the same test with the same esc, and high-speed servo (Radiolink transmitter set to 3ms, with radiolink latest receiver), unfortunately, I don't feel any changes with the speed and response compared to this video I upload earlier. @@ExaltedRC

@@ExaltedRC after the November 2023 update, steering value flickers to 0 to +1 back and forth, i did try to re-calibrate it, there some occasions it is back to normal and next day the flickering value return, let hope it stabilize soon.
