Ive been a subscriber for a little while and always appreciated your overall "down to earth" personal styling advice. I almost never comment on YT videos but this one is hitting home with me so hard; I'm tearing up!! Lol A few years ago I went from a size 4/6 up now to a 10/12 because of a medication. It was a slow creep up and I did the same thing that you did, which was just go shopping and buy more ill fitting or impractical clothing. The shock of realizing that my carefully curated wardrobe (I'm a huge vintage enthusiast and thrifter) no longer fits me has been devastating. Not just that but any clothing in general looks different on me now. I'm still on my acceptance journey but I'm so happy that you're talking about the psychological and emotional impact that body changes have on personal style and identity. This is such an important part of developing individual expression via clothing choices that so many content creators fail to address. Thank you for starting this conversation and giving some really great and heartfelt advice.

It’s such a misconception that a stylist should never struggle to dress themselves. That’s like saying a chef makes themselves a fancy meal three times a day! (Of course they don’t!) I LOVE these! Lots of personality, great fits, versatile for different outfits, can see the “old” you (your core personality & style) coming back through (i.e. vs. Day 1 struggles & why you’re doing this challenge). Not sure if we have Thred up in the UK but I’ll look it up now.
