      Emma Losey thx for vid, it was very interesting. You showed us a box full of sweaters that you just love, but we didn't get to see each sweater.... 8( Would you ever do a video to show us all your sweaters? I would be very interested to see the sweaters that YOU love. Also, you have mentioned that you have lost weight. Would you ever do a Lose Weight video???? Thx again for all your wonderful vids!!!!

      Mistywinding River I didn’t want to make the video too long so I didn’t go through every sweater but it is great feedback to hear that you would like to see them! I will be making more wardrobe updates which will show the pieces that I am keeping in my wardrobe. As for my weight loss, most of it is due to diet change since finding out that I have IBS. I would be happy to make more videos on that topic if you would be interested! Thanks for your feedback and I’m so glad that are enjoying my videos 🤗

      SuperPiper27 If you watch my Let’s Build A Capsule Wardrobe videos, you will see that I encourage people to create a capsule wardrobe within their wardrobe. Keep it on a rack, separate closet, or store your other pieces. This will take the stress out of creating a capsule because you aren’t getting rid of anything and it will help you ease into a capsule wardrobe. Most people only wear about 20% of the pieces in their wardrobe so you will probably find that it is easier than you think. Give it a try and you might be surprised!

A lot of really cute statement pieces that I never wear because I’m just a stay at home mom that doesn’t get the chance to go out much. Lea Dupont I know! It is so cute! The only other issue I had with it last year is that I have larger hips so if skirts are too flowy they aren’t the most flattering. I really only wore it with one top that worked with it so it wasn’t the most versatile. I’d rather pass it on to someone who will get more wear out of it! But it is adorable 😊

    Decluttering is so satisfying to watch! I try to do this at the beginning of every year too. Also I know how you feel about impulse buying though in the recent years I’ve been looking at items and thinking about if I really want them for a long while before I make a purchase too. I did impulse thrift a blazer the other day and it’s so big on me I sort of regret buying it but Idk maybe I can get it tailored... 🤷🏾‍♀️

    • @DaisyGalStyling
      @DaisyGalStyling  4 года назад +1

      Michelle K I’m glad I’m not the only one! It’s something that takes practice and I’ve been learning from my mistakes. For your blazer, you can try styling it a few ways and see if you can find a way to wear it or get it tailored if you really love it. Oversized blazers are a fun trend! If it is something that you really won’t wear, sell it or donate or give it to a friend. It’s not worth hanging onto something that you won’t wear!

    You buy button ups because everyone tells you you have to have it. Listen to yourself. I'm 64 and still making mistakes with my style. Plus I think stores and thrift shops are in an alter universe, it's the only explanation I have for why things look so good in the fitting room but not when I go to wear it. LOL. My suggestion is to look for better brands in the thrift stores and don't settle for less, you have proven it doesn't work. We only learn from making mistakes. Good video. I wish you well in selling what you need to get rid of.

    I tend to struggle with impulse buying too with my capsule wardrobes but have been successful in curbing that habbit. What I do is I do a capsule for each season. I keep a log of it on my phone.so then check mark my items and what I don't wear in those 3 months I either donate or put it back for another season. I've been doing capsules for a year this method keeps me in chevk.

Perhaps a strapless bra, or possibly a crop top, could mean you could wear a few more of the pieces you liked? I actually don't get this bra strap thing. Why is seeing a bra strap such a horrible thing? I mean, there are so many bra's out there, if you were like a bandeau or a bralette it could even be an added thing in your outfit. Or even just a normal bra i guess. I can get that you would not feel comfortable wearing a bralette or bandeau and that you would want a more supporting bra and the look of those is maybe a bit more out there. If it's for comfort reason's you do you! But I just hope that we aren't saying that bra's or bra straps should stay hidden. I get really frustrated with these "fashion rules".
