This review sounds like someone who wants a truck that is the same size and power wise as a full size F150. I’ve watched several reviews on the ranger so this one I don’t agree with. Americans always liked big vehicles so the truck was manufactured for European lifestyle and it is quite popular overseas. I’m looking at getting one just trying to decide if I want another car payment and also what is different in 2024 and 2025 models also passenger seating is important to my wife due to her back, right now looks like the Lariat is best option with leather and adjustments. Just my opinion like his I guess.

About 35% of a vehicle cost is advertising and pay schedules (bonus structures )for dealerships.

I can give you a few answers from the manufacturing side. As a quality engineer for tier 1 suppliers to many of the auto companies, they squeezed us so hard, they close up shop and the OEM is stuck trying to find a shop to make their parts because they can't make them. I worked for 5 suppliers in the last 8 years. 4 of which closed up shop. It's what is called Lean & 6 sigma. It's the death grip of bullshit product management. They all need to go back to the old quality control methods that worked in the '80's & '90's. IATF is no friend to a supplier.

I deal with these vehicles everyday. The sad part is that they are very well designed but the quality of components is a complete joke. Ac compressors last 40-50k miles and cost over 1500 dollars. The air suspension is terrible and a single air strut costs over $ 1700, a valve block for the suspension is $1300! While my wife's mercedes valve block is $450 from the dealer with Mark up!They refuse to sell single connectors for their wiring harnesses and make you buy $2000 harness for a 10 dollar connector.The part prices are completely out of control. Also, I don't know a single person in my life that can afford a 65k vehicle, period.

When I look at the front bumper, I bet if a 250lb person stood on it, it will fall off. These vehicles are poorly designed and have low long term value. It is close to junk.

I love the King Cab! It’s understated in appearance and has just enough comfort and convenience feature to suit my tastes. I can add a second tow hook and put LED lights, front and rear, on my own. Nice overview of a variety of trims.

I have owned three new GT-Rs, and two new 370Z Nissans since 2010. I planned to buy the new Z when it came out. Finally the local dealer got in a USED Z with 300+ miles on it that they had bought at auction. I tried to make a deal on it but they wanted $18k over sticker for it. They said I could get on the waiting list for a new Z but it would be a bid process for the six people that were on the list. Their greed has cost them dearly. I will never buy another new Nissan.
