    The Nissan Frontier will prove to be the most reliable of the current midsize trucks, with its naturally aspirated V6.

      I don’t agree with that at all. I test drove every midsize truck before I purchased my AT4. It was by far the nicest looking and preforming truck for the price. If you want cheap, buy Nissan they are not giving them away because they are reliable or comfortable..

    I got one of these about 2 months ago(company truck) and it’s even better than I expected. Installed an additional 2” lift. It looks and feels so premium inside and out. The turbo4 engine smokes the 5.3 V8 in driveability and responsiveness. The low-end torque is just so good! It will cruise north of 80 without hardly touching the gas pedal and will get 25mpg highway if driven correctly. My only real complaints are lack of interior storage and the mirrors are too small.

      Thanks for the review and I do not mean to argue with you but I find it hard to believe you can get anywhere near 25mpg on these trucks. The sticker says 18-22 which is typically a generous number. Most reviews I've read are critical of the mpg on these pickups. Looks nice and all but to me the mileage is a deal breaker. Now you're using it as a work truck so you can deduct the cost of fuel etc. but I cannot so it is important.

    • @Holden-McGroin
      @Holden-McGroin Месяц назад

      You can definitely get 23-25mpg driving conservatively on flat highway. I average 20 overall and I definitely don’t baby the truck at all. I get where you’re coming from, but 2mpg is what, maybe $200 a year?

      @@Holden-McGroin OK I'll take your word for it. I have an older Nissan pickup and that is about what I get on it which to me isn't good mileage which is why I also have a Honda Accord that gets 32-35mpg. I would like to go to one vehicle but the mileage is just the road block I face. Thanks for your feedback!!!

    Great looking truck, best looking in this class for sure. Bang for the buck, I would go with the Colorado Trail Boss. I keep vehicles for a long time so realiability would be a concern.

      My local GMC dealer offers lifetime power train warranty on the AT4. I paid $48k and mine is fully loaded. I spend a lot of time in my truck and the comfort in this truck was worth the extra money IMO. Drove 8hrs and didn’t have to shift my ass one time during the trip.. only my 94 300zx has better seats than this truck…

      And that’s why I stopped watching both of them. There’s more to cars than Toyota. I get really annoyed when mechanics just do nothing but beat that drum. I nearly had to declare a lemon law on my 2016 Tacoma. My wife’s 2012 Camry is a complete turd, still runs but is falling apart and an awful driving experience. Those are the top two, and some are crap, just like every other brand.

      I know they are expensive, but compared to all the other midsized trucks it was the best looking and way cheaper than a new taco(my old truck). They have the best seats in the market IMO, I did get mine fully loaded for $48k but included from my dealer was a lifetime power train warranty. Added the 100k bumper to bumper warranty. Mine only had the 20” tires/rims added by the dealer. I get so many compliments on this truck and it’s a great little truck. If you want cheap go with the Nissan but crappy interior crappy seats even in the fully loaded models. Best value for the price IMO better for off road also than the trailboss with more clearance on approach angles and departure angles, plus it looks way better IMO..

      @@Mikef1969 I'm glad you found, and could afford, a truck set up the way you wanted for the most part. But I don't see The Lovely Bride and I coming up off the hip, so to speak, and paying that kind of money for a truck, especially anything from GM or Ford, that does nothing my old beater truck can't do for us or our trusty, bone stock, daily driver RAM 1500 5.7L 4X4 quad cab pickup can't do even better.
