You might be right with Concord entering a “crowded space”. As much as I want to believe that there’s room for people to love multiple games, it might be that people want another game to be addicted to. We saw it with the Finals, where the Apex community was hoping for something new to scratch that competitive itch. But unfortunately I think the life cycle of that game was short because of the shorter style gameplay (compared to a battle royale) and also the fact that people nowadays , professionals especially, have a ton of time to play the game. It’s tough, I do feel like a price tag will keep people from playing this game if there are no streamers giving this game hype. Just like Helldivers 2. That was a game that blew up because all the streamers were having a blast with it. I also understand the need for companies to make money… I think competitive gamers are a bit spoiled because they have a AAA game but won’t pay for anything unless they truly feel like the game *deserves* their money. this can be a sweeping generalization, but I see it in Overwatch 2 where people can play hundreds of hours but refuse to pay for a skin that costs them $20 or so. Perhaps the gamer’s time value inflated with the economy 😂… unless they’re a 12 YO Fortnite player with mommy’s credit card 😂 I want this game to succeed. I think maybe they do a free trial or something to get the hype. I think it has the potential to appeal to all the major competitive FPS players right now. They just need to have a lot of content on deck to keep the community happy!

Finally started the DLC and as mentioned, I dun goofed, and went into NG+ when I beat the game a few years back. Going through the paces to get to the DLC (academy to respec, fight Mohg and Radahn, etc.), I totally forgot how much fun it is to just to drop a point on the map and just go there. Also, the Mimic does work as long as the boss doesn't move too much (my mimic did _nothing_ fighting a dragon since it moved so much)

I am not 100% sure if I remember correctly but I feel like at least in the German version it was mentioned by that cetra-voice that the Ghi forged the black materia to summon Meteor. Before you fight the „Demon Wall“. Edit2: I'm also concerned that without Aerith there is not ATB Ward to exploit brumal form for hardmode. :(

I hate this game. 400 hours in. The simulator in hardmode are the least fun things they've wasted my time and my life I could have been doing productive things I'm trying to get this shit over with as fast as possible I'm sure there's a lot of other people who feel the same way

The amount of BULLSHIT that I have to look up for this game is ridiculous. Not once do they give you any sort of indication that a light fissure spawns for you to use. Also I'm getting really tired of them making every boss fight practically impossible for solo people, especially solo hunters like myself. Now I remember why I quit playing this game in the first place.

Thats what ive been saying!! Ive kept up with all the devs that left their studios around the time the gaming industry started becoming this slop, because odds are those were the passionate devs that seen the innerworkings of these studios and what was happening and realised its not good and left to make good games elsewhere and i think theyre gonna be the future when the big games that have forgot how to treat their playerbases ultimately blow up. And so far weve found the battlefield devs that left years ago and they just finished what theyve been working on for years and that was the finals and that games the most generous f2p game I've ever played, you play that game and than go to overwatch or apex and you can feel how spoiled you are by thise devs and the gameplay is just so fun, they keep making really fun weps like spears, dual blades and katanas. And these are the halo/destiny devs that left around that time so im sure whatever they been cooking is gonna be fun and easy on my wallet which probably explains the 40$ price tag, once you buy in youll most likely get treated really well with tons of content and theyll actually care about the games balance hopefully unlike overwatch where theyve just started balancing around the skins they drop, or to spice things up, im pretty sure a dev from blizzards team 4 actually said theyre gonna be doing flavour of the month balance at one point which is bascially them admitting they cant balance the game 😂

Hearing it’s more like Halo/ Destiny gives me a little hope. Will have to wait and see how the beta is.

it almost always goes death blight first at 75% health. drink your flask with protection and health regen and focus on killing the basilisks. the bosses death clouds don't last long or inflict even close to the same build up of death blight as the adds. Then it will cycle through the other elements where you should manage to kill it before it cycles back round to death blight.

i just used the zonan water thing and with the hand move the object and clear everything in just 5 sec...

This boss fight broke me honestly. I love Final Fantasy 16 and I’m going to platinum it someday but this boss fight was too much for me.

okay, for the air-slices something worked really well for me: move immediately to a large-enough hole, asap. And then, start firing arrows: with this you can basically stand in the air for long enough and do not risk of falling down right into the attack. With this, you don't have to time it that precisely!

Just got done playing this fight. I almost broke my controller with how difficult this fight was. I remember having a rough time in Remake against Rufus but my God they took it to a whole new level in Rebirth.

Would not be surprised if the devs told translators to translate certain important lines differently than the Japanese version because that would go hand in hand with the multiverse/multi Gaia scenario they’ve built and also keep the fan theory engine going all the way up to the release of Part 3 (I think Max is correct on the title for it, either Reclaim, Return, or Returns). I like that you brought up Marlene and also I think Marle from Sector 7 of Remake is her from the future (and that’s a speculation I came to on my own).
