You might be right with Concord entering a “crowded space”. As much as I want to believe that there’s room for people to love multiple games, it might be that people want another game to be addicted to. We saw it with the Finals, where the Apex community was hoping for something new to scratch that competitive itch. But unfortunately I think the life cycle of that game was short because of the shorter style gameplay (compared to a battle royale) and also the fact that people nowadays , professionals especially, have a ton of time to play the game. It’s tough, I do feel like a price tag will keep people from playing this game if there are no streamers giving this game hype. Just like Helldivers 2. That was a game that blew up because all the streamers were having a blast with it. I also understand the need for companies to make money… I think competitive gamers are a bit spoiled because they have a AAA game but won’t pay for anything unless they truly feel like the game *deserves* their money. this can be a sweeping generalization, but I see it in Overwatch 2 where people can play hundreds of hours but refuse to pay for a skin that costs them $20 or so. Perhaps the gamer’s time value inflated with the economy 😂… unless they’re a 12 YO Fortnite player with mommy’s credit card 😂 I want this game to succeed. I think maybe they do a free trial or something to get the hype. I think it has the potential to appeal to all the major competitive FPS players right now. They just need to have a lot of content on deck to keep the community happy!
Really wish people gave the finals a chance. BR are just no fun IMO. The Finals has almost everything a good multiplayer game needs (needs more maps and weapons) -Tallen

Thats what ive been saying!! Ive kept up with all the devs that left their studios around the time the gaming industry started becoming this slop, because odds are those were the passionate devs that seen the innerworkings of these studios and what was happening and realised its not good and left to make good games elsewhere and i think theyre gonna be the future when the big games that have forgot how to treat their playerbases ultimately blow up. And so far weve found the battlefield devs that left years ago and they just finished what theyve been working on for years and that was the finals and that games the most generous f2p game I've ever played, you play that game and than go to overwatch or apex and you can feel how spoiled you are by thise devs and the gameplay is just so fun, they keep making really fun weps like spears, dual blades and katanas. And these are the halo/destiny devs that left around that time so im sure whatever they been cooking is gonna be fun and easy on my wallet which probably explains the 40$ price tag, once you buy in youll most likely get treated really well with tons of content and theyll actually care about the games balance hopefully unlike overwatch where theyve just started balancing around the skins they drop, or to spice things up, im pretty sure a dev from blizzards team 4 actually said theyre gonna be doing flavour of the month balance at one point which is bascially them admitting they cant balance the game 😂

The Destiny community desperately wants PVP. The previews have been saying its like Destiny meets overwatch. Everyone plays only 1 mode in overwatch and Destiny. Concord is promising multiple "quality" modes. Like I said, if it sucks, it sucks. If it's good, it's good.

Everyone said it was because its woke but the reality is the game was just marketed at people that they also pissed off while this game already has a small community, it's a new ip and actually speaks to a certain type of player, while everyone says it's the same as every other game, it actually has stuff that no other game on the market has atm.
