- Xbox is closing beloved game studios...
Xbox has announced the closure of beloved game studios Tango Gameworks and Arkane Austin. After the lackluster performance of the critical darling Hi Fi Rush, and the hugle flop that was Redfall, Xbox has closed these, as well as two other studios as of May 7th, 2024.

Too many people sleeping on Ghostwire. One of the best current gen titles available and fantastic use of the Dual Sense features.

Nobody bought Prey or Hi-Fi rush and yet everyone crying cause they closed their studios....
I bought Prey twice. But, yeah, I think the name had people expecting it to be the Prey from the 2000s(which I didn’t care for).

Tango is a Japanese developer company. 99% of Xbox players dont give a shit about Japanese games 10 years ago. Even street fighter 5 wasn't on xbox. What Xbox players love are first person shooters. Microsoft has COD now so everything should be ok.
I wish that wasn't the case gamers should want a variety I know I do. Microsoft isn't giving me any variety and neither is Sony. It should be that a good game should sell, but cod sells more every year and those games are dogwater so what do I know.
