Mendoza, Argentina is 293% cheaper than Seattle according to this video. Also 293% nicer than Seattle. Work part of the year in Seattle and visited Mendoza in October 2023. Just like Bend, OR, but without the Californians.
Amazing video, A friend of mine referred me to a financial adviser sometime ago and we got talking about investment and money. I started investing with $120k and in the first 2 months , my portfolio was reading $274,800. Crazy right!, I decided to reinvest my profit and gets more interesting. For over a year we have been working together making consistent profit just bought my second home 2 weeks ago and care for my family.
I’ve been forced to find additional sources of income as I got retrenched. I barely have time to continue trading and watch my investments since I had my second daughter. Do you think I should take a break for a while from the market and focus on other things or return whenever I have free time or is it a continuous process? Thanks.

You lost me at El Salvador.
"Diversity is our strength" :)
Our nations are being destroyed by violent migrant colonisers.
I wanted to share a personal reflection regarding population movements between the United Kingdom and France, particularly in the context of Brexit. Interestingly, many Britons supported Brexit to fight immigration and regain sovereignty. However, today we are seeing an increasing number of British citizens coming to settle in France. The problem is that most of them don't seem to be making much of an effort to fully integrate. The language barrier is a glaring example: they do not master French and do not always seem to try to learn it, as if France could be perceived as an extension of Britain. I wonder if you have observed this phenomenon or if initiatives are planned to encourage linguistic and cultural integration. This could undoubtedly facilitate cohabitation and strengthen mutual respect between communities. Thank you for reading, and I remain open to your thoughts on this subject.
Chile has far modern online services and the fastest internet i've seen, One thing to consider when having to do "presential legal paperwork" then you face the "corrupt intermediaries" to sort it out. That is truth for most of the countries you mention. Regardless the "expensiveness" of the country, some permits and documents are quickly generated online whereas in some other of these countries is a real pain to get them done. I speak by experience and is a thing to consider also.
asking how old this video is? Really liked it, considering moving my family there to Aragon
It’s not cheap in El Salvador perhaps because they use the printing press dollar. I do love the country and the President is the only politician that keeps promises in the world. So for me I absolutely love it and I have just cancelled my Costa Rica residency to take up my next step I. Life in El Salvador next year.
You keep comparing cost of living to very expensive US cities. That’s not very useful. You need to compare to average cities not super expensive to skew your BS numbers.
That's exactly why I did not renew my passport. I will never go over there anymore. I used to go every year. And let me tell you, it started with the "Arab Spring" and Obama encourage all the refugees from the Middle East and Africa to Europe. Another president would have put a stop to all that, but it was all planned by other leaders in the world, because Obama had done nothing and received the "Nobel Peace Price" after being sworn in for his first term.
If you are a US citizen, you pay US taxes no matter where you live....to pay no US taxes, you need to renounce and get foriegn citizenship which is almost impossible .
Great video. Never trust Nomad Capitalist.
Your definitely helps raise awareness about safety when traveling. Thank you for shedding light on such an important topic! 😊
I’m from the US, live in China, speak fluent Portuguese & Spanish. I’m considering different retirement destinations, esp in SE Asia, but also Latin America. I was last in Brazil in 1991 & in Floripa in ‘88. It’s my favorite city in Brazil & on my list of places to visit, but I don’t quite get your comparison to Philly, where the minimum wage & average incomes are multiples of those of Floripa. Much better to compare, for example, with Manta, Ecuador, Cartagena, Colombia, Acapulco, Mx or even Cebu, Philippines.
Open borders are the issue.

Surprisingly, we didn't hear anything about Santiago de Compostela nor did we hear San Sebastian , and some more of the most interesting cities , especially since they are quite cosmopolitan, therefore you can survive without good Spanish - which is not the case in some of the places mentioned, Extremadura , for instance !
O tipo de crime varia de zona para zona. Por isso não é verdade. Entrar em uma zona sem crer devido ao GPS e ser roubado é a maior mentira do mundo.
This's not true. I go to this places and nobody steel me.
All the talk of moving away. Nobody thinks of moving to a swing state?
Aside from the difficult language, Poland looks and sounds like a great place to live. Only worry I have is that, from what I can tell, their last elections swung to the left, which is a very slippery slope when thinking about moving.
Bad idea to move to a non-English speaking country. I would never do it.
Almuñecar in Costa Tropical, much cheaper than Costa del Sol...
I suggest that you do your own research. Check into getting VISAS. How long can you stay in that country w/o Visa, the cost, the investment needed, etc. Language, are you willing to learn a new language. You can be taken advantage of if you don’t know it. A lot of expats get excited about escaping their country and after 3 yrs want to move back because they miss family, culture, bureaucracy, etc. Do your due diligence. You don’t make as much money as you do in US, hence reason people flock to US. Enjoying a place to vacation may not be so enjoyable to live long term. DO YOUR OWN DUE DILIGENCE!
The first sentence of this video is bizarre. Although some people outside of Brazil, especially in the US, use the term 'Latin America,' I would say South America is a much technical term to be using. It's geography. .... Stop using such a racist term .. This term was created in the US to segrate the rest of americas from them US and Canada. .. Se você é brasileiro mesmo acho que vai entender o que estou dizendo.
Nowhere near as bad as Barcelona, a complete no go zone

No one commenting here seems to understand that your choice of city should be built around your preferences. I was in Floripa in May, and we are now in November. I am willing to bet more money than most people have access to that there hasn't been a significant change in the city during the past 6 months. Plus, I still have several friends that continue to live in Santa Catarina. Floripa is a good city if you like surfing and hiking. If you want to live in a metropolis with access to all kinds of urban resources, then it's definitely not the place for you. Crime: it's very rare for someone to pull a weapon on you unless you are doing something reckless, such a poking your nose where it doesn't belong downtown late at night. On the other hand, pickpocketing and breaking into cars can be a concern, most especially during the summer months with the influx of tourists. Cost of living: aside from housing, you will not find a major difference in the price of things such as food, unless you don't know how to shop around. If you only go to the most expensive store in town, then yes of course you are going to pay an arm and a leg. That's no difference than solely going to Whole Foods in the USA, rather than shopping at Walmart! So don't say everything in Floripa is double the price simply because you are too lazy to go another 5 kilometers to a less expensive store. Weather: Some people actually like cooler weather. I hated being in Willemstad when I could not take a 10 minute walk at 8 in the morning without sweating bullets. Floripa is for a certain kind of person; it's not for everyone.
El Salvador's president solved the crime problem by locking up all cartel members and criminals without recourse or possibility of release.

The best country for Trump lovers to move is RUSSIA, you will feel at home there!!!
Ahh. NPC humor. And that's because why? Which? That they don't support genocide like lip service dealing Harris supporters? Is it because they're 5 boosters short of myocarditis unlike Harris supporters? Oh wait I know. It's because their party didn't start branding itself the "party of the common man" in the 40's because the previous "party of the slaveowners and Tammany Hall vote stuffers" stopped being a flex? Perhaps it's because their party didn't shut down women's voting every year from 1878 to 1919 then turn around and claim they're pro-woman? None of those? Is it because they haven't forgotten that the Eastern 1/3 of Ukraine's citizens that are ethnic Russian are Ukrainians too, so they know that helping to bomb them for 8 years then claiming you're pro-Ukrainian and "defending Democracy" makes you look like a fool? I can't believe it's none of those. Oh I know. It's because they refused to turn Punch a Nazi Day into Fund The Nazi Way the second their lying sack of sh-- party leaders decided Nazis are cool, now that they are willing to sell out their country and get a million of their citizens killed so BlackRock and JP Morgan can stripmine their resources. Yeah that's gotta be it.

Hungary should NOT be mentioned. I'm a retired American. I bought a house in Hungary over a decade ago. I bring foreign capital into the country every month which is spent on goods and services. I self insure for medical. I have a big bank account in Budapest. In short, I cause zero problems for Hungary and actually benefit the country in my small way. Last month I went into the Hungary Immigration office to renew my residence permit for a few more years. I was told the rules have "changed" and that I no longer have any "purpose" in Hungary. I of course told them I thought this beyond stupid and that, if anything, the country needs more retired immigrants like myself. The workers agreed it is ridiculous but said they could do nothing and that I would soon only be able to visit my house for three months at a time. In other words back to just tourist status. I've since heard of others in this same situation. I'm now in Montenegro looking at property and will sell my house in Hungary soon. Orban can go f--- himself! (BTW, my EU residence permit expires at midnight tonight October 31).
Montenegro is nice now but don’t count on long term security there. More and more are joining the Schengen and more requirements for visas of all kinds. Passports are now going to be checked between borders in EU so they are tightening up on Nomads and investors from foreign countries, etc. Good luck.
@@karenmominee5572 Hopefully the goddam EU will crash before Montenegro ever joins it. And then there is always good old Albania. I think I will be long gone before they are ever admitted to the Schengen. BTW Albania gives Americans (only) a full one year visa, best remaining deal in Europe.
They mean because the ruler of Hungary is like Trump.
@@DennisSullivan-q2r Orban would be way worse but is constrained by the EU holding back very big chunks of money from Hungary when he tries to pull too much fascist stuff. Most Budapest Hungarians I know despise him. Most rural ones think he's great. They're ignorant & fearful, like the rural US.
Thank you for sharing your experience.
Great job on this video...and congrats to El Salvador...I pray they continue to do well. Thank you!
