I'm blocked to the login screen, for some reasons the login is successful but it crashes and come back to the login GUI. I'm using the new 4080 super, it might be the problem. Any help???

I have some thins I want ask about if i may: 1) how to setup a user image in sddm (tried with no success) 2) are u willing to improve more and more ? 3) how to do the function of switching betwween windows like in xfce using ALT+TAB and only Focusing on one window with a fullscreen like in xfce and gnome. 4) can u also hide all windows using Super+D like the other DE ? and thank you so much for your work

If using Windows to create any bootable USB, you do *not* have to use Rufus or any other ISO burning utility. Open CMD as Admin Run DiskPart I’m not typing out a full tutorial on DiskPart, but here’s the gist List and select the disk you want to use List and remove any existing partitions Create a new, clean partition, select it, and format to NTFS Set to bootable with the *Active* command Use 7zip to extract the ISO to the drive. There is nothing wrong with using Rufus, Ventoy, Yumi, Etcher, etc… other than they are publicly available and no guarantees that they could not get compromised or a fake site set up to look like their download page, and one gets a virus or malware. I just started using the tools available to me. And if you already have Linux set up somewhere, you have other options as well that don’t include third party software.

I tried installing arch on my own with hyperland and when I tried to open the Terminal it automatically closes. So I tried this tutorial and I have the same problem. 😤

I had ran into some install issues. I’ve been having to manually install individual packages because its not doing them automatically. Such as swww, wlogout, nwg-look-bin are a few i had to install but afterwards i was able to successfully complete the install. Just wasn’t sure why those needed manual intervention. Once i logged in it was an autogenerated config
