Oooh, Abbey! I’d love to see you review Ciele cosmetics by Nikki De Roest! It’s high performance makeup that has mineral SPF 50+ in it and it supposed to be super versatile and easy to use. It’s meant to add to your SPF, not replace it, and the products are gorgeous
I have very fine, shoulder length, color-treated hair and the JVN mask worked so much better on my hair than the Ouai Fine Hair Mask I was previously using. I can definitely see how it wouldn’t be enough for someone with more hair density but I absolutely love it for my hair type!
I agree about the Summer Fridays...I have drier, eczema prone skin and it does feel nice when I put it on, (no irritation or anything), but soon after applying it I don't really feel much. Oddly enough I almost feel like their dewy skin gel cream is more moisturizing, (which makes no sense because it is a gel), but overall not a bad product. Thanks for all these reviews! 💜
HPR is the retinoid that's in The Ordinary's Granactive retinoid 2% emulsion and also the Sunday Riley Luna oil. it's been around for 10 years or so. it's the first retinoid i ever used, and i had excellent results with it. The Granactive retinoid emulsion is fantastic, and i would recommend it to anyone looking to start out with retinoids. i really do believe that with time, more studies are going to confirm HPR's efficacy.
Looking good, Abbey!!! Can you please share what eye liner and eyeshadow you are wearing in this video? Absolutely stunning!! Thank you for all that you do…
Did you know that HPR is the same thing as Granactive Retinoid? It's actually the trade name. I know that there is some research and I personally know HPR was the best thing for my skin before starting tretinoin because I didn't go through ANY retinization when I started tretinoin! I know😯I was fully expecting dry peeling skin, but HPR prepared my skin perfectly 💗💗💗Have a beautiful Sunday🌤💗
Im really enjoying the tarte blush! I have to wear it as a highlighter, it's too texture focusing on its own, but i love the glow and living thru extremely dry winters, i can tell I'll be relying on this daily, it's got quite a bit of wax in it, which is fantastic in high wind locations.
Thank you for trying dr.jart’s BB moisturizer!! I’ve been using it for months and I love it. I actually didn’t even notice the fragrance, I was just so happy to find something that lasted on my skin and provided enough coverage. 😅💕
I tried the summer fridays cream and it’s definitely not moisturizing enough for me. I woke up with my skin feeling depleted. I have dry sensitive skin.
I'm not a fan of HPR. My 45 yo skin Hated retinol so I tried every alternative. HPR is otherwise known as granactive retinoid and is found in the emulsion that The Ordinary sells. I had been using adapalene(differin) for over a year and has seen some good results with fine lines and acne. But I had been getting irritation so I decided to try the ordinary product. After using a whole bottle, My acne returned and fine lines came back! It was proof for me that HPR wasn't working. Since then I've been using Tret .025 percent every other night and my sensitive skin likes that better than retinol believe it or not. Plus Anti-aging results from tret is next level in my experience. It knocked out all of my acne unlike anything else.
you have to try Clinique moisture surge lip treatment. hands down best lip mask nothing comes close to healing dry/chapped lips rather than just a band aid effect.
I've realized, the majority of the hyped, "viral" products do not work for me at all. I seem to end up loving the products that are not talked about at all. If I hear a lot of influencers raving about products/brands, I steer clear.🤷🏻♀️
Thanks again for a great video!!!! With the amount of inflation.... I need drugstore priced products. However, IMHO, they are also getting up there in price! Many blessings!💖💖💖
The inkey list tripeptide plumping lip balm - I also experienced the graininess as well as the oily taste (and smell!) and first I thought I got a bad batch or something but then I saw on their IG that the HA is encapsulated and that all smell and taste come from ingredients themselves i.e. no added fragrances. I did find that the grains kinda dissapeared once I did the old school rubbing lips together and even the taste and smell disappeared after a short while but all in all, it's a meh product for me. Doesn't dry out lips which is 👌
I have incredibly sensitive and dry skin. The summer fridays moisturizer is lovely as a daytime moisturizer but I do feel that I need a little extra moisture at night. It’s not bad if I top it with my f balm mask from Drunk Elephant
I've been waiting for part 2! Super excited! Also, you look absolutely stunning in this video! I mean you always look beautiful, obviously lol but girlllll you look extra fabulous♥️
I had high hopes for that milk powder too. It was terrible for me too!!!! Same thing. Dry. Under eyes were a disaster. Had to go right back to NYX powder. I’ve tried it too many times and too many ways. I finally gave up.
I got a perfume called Rain coming from Sephora … I loved a scent from Bath and Body Works years ago with the word Rain in it hope it smells good!!!! I’m obsessed with Now from Lancome lasts forever (literally wash my clothes and still smell it! How?!? Lol) and Blush the ones that look like a high heeled shoe 🤣🤣🤣 smells great but doesn’t last long
Out of the three DIBS sticks I feel like the 2.5 does have the lightest bronzer of the three, so not sure if you mean another bronzer that's not included in there.
The Colorescience No Show Mineral was so weird for me- I’m very fair and naturally blonde and this sunscreen clung like crazy to all my peach fuzz and it never dried down, and def had a white cast on me. I’d love to have a mineral sunscreen in my arsenal for when my ocular rosacea is flaring and my regular Asian and European chemical sunscreens aren’t serving me best… but I have yet to find a mineral sunscreen that’s SPF 45+, not an oil slick, and doesn’t turn me into an Oompa Loompa or give me a white cast!
Have you tried eltamd physical? Not the elements which leaves me Orange but the physical. It's almost my perfect sunscreen as a super pale skinned human. It's spf 41 though. I still love it. In winter I'll use a light moisturizing underneath
@@ellierose3842 I’ll have to give the eltamd uv physical another try! When I first tried it in 2020 it did make me orange but maybe the times have changed Edit: I also do have really dry skin and it is a bit on the drying side for me
The milk powder reviews are sus for sure because nearly every RUclipsr I watch has hated it 👀 PS I also love the tarte juicy blushes. Like I did not see that coming you know?!?
Thanks for trying all these, I had my eye on that JVN mask but I think I'll skip it for now and stick to my tried and trues. I understand you about perfume, I mostly use body mists when I'm home.
The Dr Jart BB cream is one of my HGs, I wore it throughout my Japan trip back in June and it wore well, the extra SPF 50 in it was also great as Japanese summers are so hot. I didn’t get tanned or burned with my Anessa sunscreen and that BB cream combination, although I did also use a sun parasol to avoid sun exposure as well
I feel like everyone loved the Fenty stick but I had a similar experience to you. I wear a mask to work (I’m a facial waxer so I’m all up in peoples business) and it came tf off
Hydroxypinacolone Retinoate goes by trade name of Granactive Retinoid, which I believe is much more known to public, since The Ordinary has their Granactive Retinoid 2% Emulsion for few years. What you said regarding manufacturer data and lack of proper controlled studies is where I would be wary and not overly hyped. And I seriously don't understand why anyone would put coconut oil known for its pore clogging ability into eye cream... hello milia?
I’m very curious to get my fiancée’s take on hydroxypinacolone retinoate and its effects on the skin. He’s a (bio)chem PhD student, and I’m premed with a passion for the body’s microbiome - together we may be able to provide more information on how this product affects the skin and why. I’ll write a sub-comment sometime this week with our conclusions. Thanks for the cool convo topic!
Your videos have really help my hair I have really bad breakage like AWFUL I’ve never seen breakage as bad as mine and I’m just now seeing the benefits thanks
I kind of feel that way about my Benefit pencil, too…I’ve been reading reviews saying that the Kosas pencil seems to break easily. Anyone else find that to be true?
😮 I am so curious about what ur age is 😅 I am 44 years old, and I get many compliments from strangers that assume that I am 25 to 32 yrs old and I just want you to call out the real age you are and I don't want to be a bother or anything like that I am just really trying to figure it out and I think u are young and you have young skin 🎶 ✨️ 💖 ❤😅

I love seeing Elsie's little tail wagging in the background while you're talking or trying on product. Hi, Elsie!
That's always her waiting for me to throw her kong wobbler 😂 my girl is obsessed with playing fetch!
Your hair and make up in this video is absolutely stunning! ❤

I’m really sensitive to smells also, so I agree with your assessment.
Also, the Living Proof volume spray is 10/10!!
What do you use to style your hair? Beautiful!

Thanks for putting the time stamps on the video. It's nice/helpful to be able to skip past products I'm not interested in
Can you film recommendations for Sephora VIB sale but by categories (especially, hair and lips).

@rachela3066 Awesome! I do the same. Well, went I went up in strength, I got a little dryness. But, I can use it on my neck and everything 💗💗💗

Agree about the kosas brow gel, nothing earth shattering 😂
Love the time stamps!
Whoa. That Tarte blush looks like only a tiny amount is needed or I’d have clown cheeks!
With the CT blush u can pull the sponge off and u can use it easier as u can put it on the back of you hand and it still locks ❤❤❤
Huda beauty also has a micro eye brow pencil.

What’s your go to setting powder for under the eye?
Do you use the Root Lifter on wet hair and then blow dry it or can it be used on dry hair?
Have you heard of the Biolage Bond Repair treatment line? I'm just curious how good it is.
The Inkey list lip balm actually dried my lips out.
I found myself reapplying every 15 mins.
Pass for me too.
I would love your take on the cica peptide hair line by some by mi.
Out of the three DIBS sticks I feel like the 2.5 does have the lightest bronzer of the three, so not sure if you mean another bronzer that's not included in there.
Also, definitely lock the Charlotte Tilbury stick!
Can you review the truss products please!!
Love your eye look here, do you remember what you used? You’re whole look actually!😊
I mix the peptide lip oil and mix it into my other balms and that’s where the magic begins

I just read that several have had the brow pencil break! Does that happen?
HPR is not a new ingredient, it has been around for several years. It is also called Granactive retinoid.
new compared to tretinoin which has extensive research! xx

Yeaaah i don't like the milk gripping primer either
Tarte really gets it right.
Ulta no longer sells the Nars liquid blush in orgasm, i know its a favorite of yours too! What do you recommend to replace it??
