- Love playing this solo but Glenn Tipton and KK Downing are amazing. I used Positive Grid's Bias FX Pro for the tone. It's in the Tonecloud under "Lambchopper Killer Solo." Never really listened to much Priest - just can't stand that vocal style - so never realised how accomplished the guitarists are. That's one fiendish solo. Nicely done.
Edward Chester I used to steer clear of them for that reason too, but they are actually incredible.

Check out more from the Priest. Rob Halford has took on a myriad of vocal styles over his career. He doesn't always sing in ballcrushingly, high-pitched screams throughout a song. That only ever occurred on Painkiller. Rob can perform some deep growls as evident on Redeemer of Souls, traditional hard rock vocals with some grit like on British Steel & Hell bent for Leather, operatic chest voice like on Stained Class, and full, clean head voice on Sad Wings of Destiny.
You actually miss a lot.
You can get used to vocal style of a lot of bands, and after you get used to it you realize it was just the best vocal to match the band.
And the OG solo is way better, IMO he missed that one.
