For those who say "nearly perfect". Have your ears and egos checked. This guy killed it! Tipton didn't even play it that well or precise live. Best Painkiller cover I've seen and heard to date. Hands down!
But that's the thing with the Tipton original. It wasn't perfectly performed (either live or on record). It was sloppy in the right kind of way, which is much harder to cover.
It isn’t perfect though because the sweep isn’t played that way in the beginning of the solo. A cover shouldn’t be perfect though, you should add your own elements into it.

Nearly perfect cover, but there's one thing I realised is that during the first solo part you played a different rhythm. It sounds different on the original, you can search for original voice and rhythm tracks and you will hear what I mean
I mean, don't most guitarists impro a bit while playing dense parts like that? I know I do, most pros also don't go note for bite while live
