You Don't Have To Be Old To Be Wise, Riding The Wind, Bloodstone, Heading Out To The Highway, Some Heads Are Gonna Roll, Screaming For Vengeance, Free Wheel Burning, Sentinel, Jawbreaker, Rock Hard Ride Free, Ram It Down, many more
"Reckless" off of Turbo is criminally underrated - it would have been in the Top Gun soundtrack had Priest just said 'yes, use it for the movie.' Also, "Hard as Iron" off of Ram It Down is an incredible riff.
i've been trying my way to shred the solo from Reckless since like a week ago, made it to the half of it so far and i'm still practicing hard to get it done in it's completeness! Love that tune
There are just too many great Judas Priest songs for a top 10 list, I would have included The Sentinel as well. But seeing three songs of Firepower on here, just shows how awesome this album truly is. For some reason Judas Priest is rather unknown to non-metalheads compared to Metallica, Iron Maiden, Ozzy or Black Sabbath, but they are the gods.
Honestly I did not expect Firepower to be THAT flawless at all. I expected another tired mass of sludge but I got a really strong JP album and one of the best metal albums of the 2010's era if not the best
1. Dissident Aggressor (verse) 2. One Shot At Glory (verse) 3. Electric Eye (intro) 4. Painkiller (verse) 5. Tyrant (verse) 6. Between The Hammer And The Anvil (verse) 7. Breaking The Law (intro) 8. Hell Bent For Leather (verse) 9. Jawbreaker (chorus) 10. The Sentinel (chorus)
I was expecting classic Priest riffs like 'Breaking the Law' and 'Living after Midnight. I was not expecting modern Priest riffs to make it in like 'Necromancer' and 'Halls of Valhalla'. Very well done, Danilo! Well done!
what about Victim of Changes, Monsters of Rock, Exciter, The Sentinel, Hard as Iron, Dissident Aggressor, Heavy Metal, Jawbreaker, Ram it Down? Definitely something Worth mentioning.
Everyone's top 10 would be different. One of my favorites has always been Delivering the Goods. That one would definitely be in my list along with Victim of Changes, cover of Green Manalishi, etc. I'm actually a bigger fan of the pre British Steel period.
Never undereastimate the role that drummers play. The are the time keepers in the band, and along with the bass player, lead very steathily (i.e., "behind the scene"!).
Excellent material for guitar study. Great lighting, camera angles, clear tone and even a joke. I think this is the right place to ask a question about the Rock Forever break riff. Finally I know to play it (thanks to Peter Autschbach) but I'd like to understand what's going on musically. It's a kind of rising triplet pattern, but I can't get my head around it. Anyone shine a light on it?
Man, I get there are a LOT of songs with cool riffs from Priest, Sentinel, a few off the much maligned "Turbo" or "Ram It Down" albums, classic stuff from the 1st 4 records..... but the one riff to me that just sounds like Judas Priest and no one else is Desert Plains. Not hard to play, not complicated, but when you hear it, even if you don't know the song, you know what band its from.
Great playing... Congratulations... On top of that, as a luthier/ guitar-maker, I must say that blue Flying V is gorgeous ❤️❤️ I can totally see that in my collection...
Check out Saxon next! Those guys are riff masters, as well, kind of a Priest meets Maiden vibe… check out their four most recent albums (Sacrifice, Battering Ram, Thunderbolt and Carpe Diem), as well as their NWOBHM classics from Denim and Leather, Wheels of Steel and Strong Arm of the Law… “Princess of the Night” and “747 (Strangers in the Night)” are classics, along with newer stuff like “Thunderbolt”, “Secret of Flight”, “Sacrifice”, “Night of the Wolf” and “Wheels of Terror”… riff masters!
What a great top 10 best Judas Priest riffs video, man! I really liked it! It was amazing! Danilo, for the next video on RUclips, could you do a review video of Dunlop Crybaby Slash signature wah pedal?
You F-ed up Nightcrawler. BTW the only thing I can play is Nothing Else Matters, and not very well, but it makes me feel better I'm not the only one F-ing up recreating these songs.
Love the guitar the color is beautiful and really brings out the style. I wish their was a bass guitar in that style love the videos keep up the good work. Rock on🤘
Glad to see Nightcrawler. One of my favorite JP songs
You Don't Have To Be Old To Be Wise, Riding The Wind, Bloodstone, Heading Out To The Highway, Some Heads Are Gonna Roll, Screaming For Vengeance, Free Wheel Burning, Sentinel, Jawbreaker, Rock Hard Ride Free, Ram It Down, many more
Glenn Tipton & K.K. Downing: The Riff Masters! Great playing! Expected to see "Riding on the wind" on your list! Please cover Victim of Changes next!
The cover sounds cooler cuz it’s more clearer and focused on the guitar parts than the actual vinyl
Victim of changes is my favorite to play along with island of domination
"Reckless" off of Turbo is criminally underrated - it would have been in the Top Gun soundtrack had Priest just said 'yes, use it for the movie.' Also, "Hard as Iron" off of Ram It Down is an incredible riff.
the whole turbo is underrated
Hard as Iron - how great and underrated! The whole Ram it Down album gets too much blame for its drum machine.
i've been trying my way to shred the solo from Reckless since like a week ago, made it to the half of it so far and i'm still practicing hard to get it done in it's completeness! Love that tune

The Sentimel is my favorite JP song.
Honestly I did not expect Firepower to be THAT flawless at all. I expected another tired mass of sludge but I got a really strong JP album and one of the best metal albums of the 2010's era if not the best
Love the painkiller intro, sometimes you gotta wait to shred and that can be hard
1. Dissident Aggressor (verse)
2. One Shot At Glory (verse)
3. Electric Eye (intro)
4. Painkiller (verse)
5. Tyrant (verse)
6. Between The Hammer And The Anvil (verse)
7. Breaking The Law (intro)
8. Hell Bent For Leather (verse)
9. Jawbreaker (chorus)
10. The Sentinel (chorus)
Judas Priest are the best heavy metal band of music history. -best guitar riffs, best voice, biggest capacity to improve themselves in decades.
I was expecting classic Priest riffs like 'Breaking the Law' and 'Living after Midnight. I was not expecting modern Priest riffs to make it in like 'Necromancer' and 'Halls of Valhalla'. Very well done, Danilo! Well done!

Hidden gems with killer riffs
Hard as iron
The sentinel
Heading out to the highway
Tyrant
Evil fantasies
The rage
Hard as Iron is so badass
@@kuronoroux8864 I couldn’t agree more.
Point of Entry is so slept on, I really like Troubleshooter and Thunder Road

Great playing as always ! Would love to see a video of all ur guitars and gear that would b sweet. A little studio tour
I will!🤘🏻

Early Priest rocks.
Faltou "Green Manalish" , "Beyond the realms of death", e "Delivering the goods".
Mas tocou igualzinho. Muito bom!
The bridge riff in Screaming for Vengeance is probably my favorite Priest riff
Totally agree dude. Mine too. Amazing eponymous spng
There is no Heavy Metal without Priest, Judas Priest!
Excellent video!
Never undereastimate the role that drummers play. The are the time keepers in the band, and along with the bass player, lead very steathily (i.e., "behind the scene"!).
Some of my favorite Priest riffs are from Redeemer of Souls and Firepower. Great playing on this video!
Richie Faulkner really did breathe new life into the band.
Electric Eye is still my all time fave Priest riff. Great playing and track selection. Nice guitar too!
I've waiting for Solo ... Painkiller ... And then he said : Ok , i'll try ... And then it comes . Unbelieviable , top , very well done
👍👍👍👍
Love the tone great sound
Two of my Guitar heroes Tipton and Downing. Going to see Priest in Concert this week in Halifax NS Canada 🇨🇦 🇬🇧🤘
Amaising playng! Bravissimo!
That guitar..... man it's just so stunning
That was very enjoyable! A bit on the bright side, still 5min. of great music!
Excellent material for guitar study. Great lighting, camera angles, clear tone and even a joke.

It's a kind of rising triplet pattern, but I can't get my head around it. Anyone shine a light on it?
Great as always, man, KK and Glenn (and Richie Faulkner) are definitely some of the best riff writers in rock and metal
Te llevas el like por lo perfecto y por la onda hermano, saludos!
Hahaha 4:25. The only moment I was waiting for. Genious
Great playing... Congratulations...
On top of that, as a luthier/ guitar-maker, I must say that blue Flying V is gorgeous ❤️❤️ I can totally see that in my collection...
The way Halford sings Valhalla is haunting. Sick riffs bro.
I really like the beginning and riffs on Victim of Changes too
We wouldn't talking about heavy metal without talking about Judas Priest.
I’ve seen a lot of people play these the wrong way but not you, nice video and for that i subscribed
Fantastic Danilo. Always good to see you killing it. "I tried." LOL. Wish I could "try" like that.
Love it, I’m gonna look some of these songs up and play them. Haven’t done metal in a while
That V is gorgeous
Painkiller is just a beast of emotions..lol.. my fav
I'd go with more distortion on You Got Another Thing, but that's just me. Fantastic playing here. Love your work!
Yeah Judas priest
🤘🏻🤘🏻
Come on duder!! No Victim of Changes??!! 🤘✌️
Bloodstone is my favorite, rarely see it in this lists.
Hail to the Priest! And to you sir!!
Badass guitar. Nice chops too!
I have a 120th Anniversary Flying V as well. I never knew they made them in a sparkle blue. That looks killer!
Spot on, note for note perfection. Fantastic!
That flying V is so nice!
That guitar is just such a vibe ❤️❤️ amazing playing as always Danilo
Love the tribute to the 🐐 hanging behind you to your (our) left. RIP EVH.
Damn man, excellent playing! You could put together a top 50 or top 100 Judas Priest riffs!
Killer tone and technique!! bravo!!!
complimenti Danilo puoi dirmi come si chiama questo Modello di Flying V?
Mitico per aver messo Nightcrawler così in alto. Uno dei picchi massimi dell' heavy metal 👍🤘
Wiked !!
and nice bound necked V bud I 🤟🤟
Blasphemy, Judas deserves top 50 riffs 😂. Where are my Genocide, Devil’s child, the Sentinel, etc.. No I’m kidding I really enjoyed it. Thank you 👍🤘
GREAT PLAYING THESE TYPE OF THINGS HELPS ME ALONE.THANKS FOR SHARING
Love how you covered widespread appreciation across their catalog!
JUDAS PRIEST FOREVER 🤘🤘🤘🤘

Sempre top riffs Grande
The sentinal and break these chains should of been on the list but great list👍
With this video it's very easy to know which riffs were written by Downing/Tipton and those written by Faulkner.
I migliori 800 Riff dei judas🤟
*Foda pra caralho, Judas é sensacional!!!*
That is a stupidly good looking V, man.
I'm seeing them live in a few weeks with Sabaton and Queensryche!! Can't wait I love Priest \m/\m/
Great video, but dude, THE SENTINEL 🤘🤘🤘
Nice Guitar!!
I’m glad you included some from the Richie era.
Just in time, I'm seeing these guys live in just a few weeks, so hyped!
Yes! You included some riffs off the recent Firepower album!!!
Yes, I think they are really amazing actually!!
What a great top 10 best Judas Priest riffs video, man!
I really liked it! It was amazing!
Danilo, for the next video on RUclips, could you do a review video of Dunlop Crybaby Slash signature wah pedal?
Thank you for including some of the newer badass riffs.
Well done on nailing the start of the greatest metal solo ever!
I was never a huge fan of Judas Priest but I actually enjoyed this video.
Good job, regards!
Thank you 😁
Firepower is an slbum packed to the fucking brim with S-tier riffs
Rapid fire, Freewheel burning, turbo, the hellion-electric eye (not only e eye)
Glenn is second only to Tony Iommi as the metal riff master. Your reaction to the drum intro of Painkiller was priceless, btw!
Sei un grande!!! Sapevo che avresti tenuto Painkiller per ultima ma come hai finito il video è geniale!! Bravo Danilo!
Grazie mille!!😁
i love this band so much that i can play the riff inside my head at work haha
How can u play such a heavy song with damn near no emotionsn😮😢😂
You F-ed up Nightcrawler.
BTW the only thing I can play is Nothing Else Matters, and not very well, but it makes me feel better I'm not the only one F-ing up recreating these songs.
I normally hate Flying V, but yours is gorgeous and its tone is crazy.
Thank you Danilo, as always. Have i watched 100s of your videos? Yes, I have!
Bravo Danilo !
Grazie🙏🏻
Love the guitar the color is beautiful and really brings out the style. I wish their was a bass guitar in that style love the videos keep up the good work. Rock on🤘
That arpeggio came out pretty good lol👍.. yeah classic priest ..plus something newer material 💪
Necromancer is so underrated
I completely agree, it’s such a killer song!
When you can already hear the vocals in your head, you should know that's a good riff.
That ending was perfect :DD
very very nice paint job on that 120th V.
how about a video about top riffs from every JP's album? In every one of them there are some tasty riffs!
Not gonna lie, this sparkling blue V is truly beautiful
Great work 👍.
I would have added Exciter specially the second solo and The Sentinel 🤟
Randomly came across your channel. That was awesome!!!
The ending...nailed it!
Bloodstone great riff!
That V is killer. Only thing that would make it better is chrome hardware. That would really make the metal-flake and binding pop.
