Meet “Merkel One”: The New German Air Force Airbus A350

- The Executive Transport Wing of the German Government (Flugbereitschaft) will soon have one of three Airbus A350s. These aircraft would be considered the German equivalents to Air Force One. According to FlugRevue, the first Airbus A350 has already been painted. Last week, the aircraft rolled out of the paint shop at the Airbus facility in Hamburg-Finkenwerder - only to fly back to Toulouse shortly after.

The A350 is an awesome plane. Wish they had made a new livery for it though, this one looks straight out of the 80s.
Finally this plane gets some big recognition
This will have significantly lower operating costs when compared to USAF's VC-25 (Air Force One) based on the 747-8.
In Germany we sometimes joke that these A350s will unfortunately be the first A350s grounded because of the lag of maintenance!

Actually, they have another a319 for the open sky Programme and another 2 or 3 global 6000's
One time when I was younger I was freaking out because I saw an A340 flying in the sky but I thought it was a 707.
Don't take it seriously, but as a German I have to say, that the way you pronounce "Flugbereitschaft" is weird.
