Very nice looking nymph. Our March Browns hatch in May. We can't do anything right. LOL Won't be long now and I'll hit the water. Can't wait.

Great fly. Just a note: The preparation of the partridge legs was partially off screen.

Hello Alan, good to hear from you. I’m sorry that you were not able to see everything that I did with the partridge. It’s a simple operation: get rid of the rubbish from the stem, try and even up the sides, pull back the fibres in the direction of the base of the stem, snip out the point of the feather, leaving sufficient fibres for legs, pull the fibres forward in the direction of the point that has been removed and place the ‘v’ onto the thorax. If this dies not clarity the operation, please come back to me. Thank you for your comment.👍
