I just love watching you bring order out of chaos! There's all this fluffy stuff, and some sparkly stuff, and feathers...then you put it all together into a lovely little piece of art!
You said it perfectly! I often tell people that I love making order from chaos. Same reason I love to knit! Crazy ball of yarn --> beautiful garment with some dedication :)
Your videos are always so relaxing, and so interesting that I never want to look away to rest my eyes😅 I rarely ever go fishing, but this looks so fun, I would love to come up with or follow some fly designs someday!
Greatings from Scotland. Wow, another masterclass in fly tying, a complete work of art. Can i ask what UV torch do you use to set the resins and polishes. Anyone who doesn't like the music must have a volume control on whatever device they use to watch your videos.
Greetings from Florida, USA! Thank you so much for the kind words! I use this one and it works like a champ! a.co/d/9sBaHD4 I've visited Scotland and absolutely loved it! I've enjoyed an unabashed love affair with wool for over a decade and especially enjoyed the Isle of Skye!! Found the most amazing wool and woven fabric there (Harris tweed and beyond!)!
Hy hy, great looking fly. I just wanted to let y'all know that I have been able to save quite a few $ by using cheap "jewelry pins" fir my tail sections.
This pack of duck feathers came in a bigger box of used fly materials I got when I first started and it wasn't labeled. That said, J Stockard has some great duck feathers and a few other online vendors, as well.
Absolutely! I try to shop at local outfitters when I can! If you're in Tampa, hit up Tampa Fishing Outfitters or Tailwater Outfitters. Online you can try jsflyfishing.com, flyfishfood.com, and even Amazon can be a great outlet! Any ingredient you're looking for specifically?
I like the addition of showing it in movement at the end. I don't fish but I love watching you make art
No fishing required! So glad you’re enjoying these!
I really enjoyed seeing the finished lure underwater. Very satisfying.
So glad you enjoyed the addition of the water! I really think it showcases the flies (especially the articulated ones) beautifully!

Any chance you could drop a link to where you get your materials?
