Thank you Davie, for tying the buggy fly that you used yesterday with great success. My flies serve their usual purpose, as well as being silverpoint drawing subjects.
Definitely a great fly 🪰, so many color and size options! Love the Wulff line as well. Super versatile, Thank you again for the introduction to the Dynamite Harry. I have changed the name a little on this side of the pond and call it the Dirty Harry!!!
Thx Davie, just the ticket here in Tassie. I tie something similar with possum. I like using the post as part of the body. Some nice fibres you have too, a bit costly getting those hackle and tail materials, but thx for showing us the way to tie a parachute, something I always struggle to get tidy, nicely done
Any chance I can pick up a few colour variations to copy. I have looked on the FM website but can’t seem to find them. Size 14 would be great. Hope you can post to Australia
Great Davie, I'll definitely be tying some of these. Haven't had time to watch the video yet, looking forward to watching it. Have a good Easter. Cheers
Great video again, fantastic job, I’m so glad you finally got this done, the table looks awesome and just for the record I’d would want loads of up dates, but anyway keep up the awesome work and thanks to you amazing camera man, I presume he never gets much of a mention, your clients look really happy, I’m sure they were well worth the wait, anyway see you next time, Colin 🏴
Hi Paul, I have attached a link to a version of the Grunter which would be ideal for the March Brown, I'm glad you liked the D.H fly... All the very best Davie ruclips.net/video/XzDBRLjx0H4/видео.html
Hi dongil123, It does work just as well on the lochs as I've tyed caddis and even midge patterns using this style..I'm glad you enjoyed the video.. All the very best Davie..
Hi Davie, been watching loads of your videos as I’m quite new to tying. Love this fly, have made a few up. After cutting the saddle feather i end up with a fair bit left, have you got any suggestions for a fly to use up the rest of the feather? Many thanks.
I did enjoy it, Davie... thank you. When you make the rabbit fur and hare's mask mix, do you use the fur from all of the hare's mask... the fur from ears and poll as well? Mike
Hi Mike, I use all the fur from the mask but I keep the hare's ear separate as I like to use this on it's own..I'm glad you enjoyed the video Mike.. All the very best Davie
Hi Murray, It will certainly take fish on small fisheries as it does give a great impression of many flies, I've caught on this pattern when there's caddis coming off as well as the March Brown...Good luck at the weekend.. All the very best Davie..
Hi Richy, I just brush them together using a small toothbrush though open them out a little before you start as this makes it easier.. All the very best Davie
Many thanks Davie,
Can see it being a great pattern in many colours.
Lyndon.
This fly will get some attention after the Ireland on the fly pod cast. well done again Dave, absolutely brilliant

Thanks very much.
Lovely impressionistec fly. Thanks for sharing.
Great dry fly style davie. I wonder how a few wraps of pearl tinsel on the rear body would work. Tks for sharing 😊
Great. Made a row immediately. Same CZ hook, but#18.
Отличная работа, Мастер! Спасибо!
Still loving the Dynamite Harry style of dries myself as well.
Thanks for the video, great stuff
Thanks Davie. Would the Dynamite Harry work as well in the lochs as it does in the rivers? Thanks again😍
Hi dongil123,
It does work just as well on the lochs as I've tyed caddis and even midge patterns using this style..I'm glad you enjoyed the video..
All the very best Davie..
Really need to tie some of those. I don't have that color antron and hackle. I have grizzled in olive.
Beautiful may fly BRAVO master🎉
Beautiful fly
Smashing fly Davie
Great wee flee. Thanks.
Well tied! TBH, I'll probably fiddle with an upright hackled version, clipped on the bottom. Parachute hackle defeats me! 😁
Great fly!! Thanks
Excellent tie, Davey. Have a great day, and happy Easter to you and yours.

It Murray btw, hope you are well!
Hi Murray,
It will certainly take fish on small fisheries as it does give a great impression of many flies, I've caught on this pattern when there's caddis coming off as well as the March Brown...Good luck at the weekend..
