Look at the sheer joy on Bonnie's face when NJ starts singing. I know that look. I was sitting 2nd row watching Waylon look at Willie just like that. Music done by real pros is sometimes just 🎩 magic.

I don't have the musical knowledge to use the right terms, but I love when they sing together, Ms Raitt seems to drop into it from above while Ms. Jones rises up into it from below. Gorgeous.

Been loving Bonnie since Love Me Like A Man...she's a national treasure and a woman who has brought more recognition to old Blues artists than almost anyone.
I met Bonnie in the late 60s when her father John Raitt came to my high school to visit her brother Dave. Dad gave a beautiful recital in a teacher’s living room (it was a Friends boarding school) and afterwards Bonnie, Dave and walked around the campus talking about music (mostly Blues). She was unknown then but released her first album 2 years later and I fell in love.
