Looks like I'm not the only one that cries from listening to her songs! But that's what makes music like this so great. Give me the music artists from that era anytime over most of the bs these days.

I hear this song and it transports me back to the summer of 2002, when the love between me and a wonderful man I had met was exciting and new, and I would drive over two hours at least twice a week to see him. I would play Norah Jones CD's over and over, singing along with the sunroof open. This April, we'll be celebrating our 18th wedding anniversary. I live for sweet memories like this.

When I was pregnant with my daughter in 2003 this was the song I would play and sing to her, and I would visualize her and I together and happy. When I was in labor I had a really hard time, so my sister played this song on a loop for hours, it connected me to my daughter and calmed me through the back labor. This song still fills me with love for my beautiful daughter who is now an adult and just as beautiful as this song.

This album was a Christmas gift from my mom, a CD she gave me when money was tight and every penny counted. Yet she knew how much I loved Norah Jones. I was likely too young to fully grasp the weight of the lyrics back then, but I now see the wisdom in her gift.
Years later, on a holiday with my family, I still see my mom moving mountains for us, her love always in motion, never just words. This song, in its quiet way, reminds me of the constant love she’s shown us-a love that isn’t just spoken, but lived.

    It took a longtime,
To find the real and deep reason I so love this song.
My mother, was a mean abusive, neglecting person. A alcoholic with bipolar disorder. The treatment for that in the 60's were very severe....
The few times, my mother would be a mom. She would sound like Norah. And the words fit her.......
So many bad things in our lives, can hold us down.
Finding the good, and letting go of the bad. Helps to raise above them.
    Thank You Norah Jones,

    With the healing.

It has taken this long to listen to this song again. Thank you for your service. When I was very young (I’m 17 now) my father was very abusive to my mother and me. Sometimes it would get so bad that we’d have to leave and mother would listen to this and all of John Mayor’s stuff and she’d just drive. She’d drive until we barely had gas in the car and I’d fall asleep crying to this. Nora and John’s works have a very emotional value to me.
Again, thank you for defending our nation.

The first CD he ever gave me was Norah Jones...and I remember, like the song says... laying in bed, his arms, listening to rain on our tin roof, while feeling so safe... In 2 weeks I will be playing this song at his memorial service. I miss him so much.
1/23/21***I now have a memorial tattoo that says "Come Away with Me, And I'll Never Stop Loving You...4-8-20..." Now I'll carry this song and memories of my late husband with me forever. Thank you Norah...

We have all been alone, some of us terribly alone. I had a conversation with a wonderful friend two hours ago who I shared this song with a year or so ago, and she loves this song now too. Sharing, which can be many things, but rarely objects, is one way out. I feel for you. I've been there. With music you are on the right path. "Without music life would be a mistake." Some suggestions: Keith Jarrett (The Koln Concert); Eva Cassidy; Joan Baez; Ana Vidovic (Alhambra; Asturias); Armstrong; Fitzgerald...I could go on all night and into the morning. For what it's worth, as Dylan sang "Said your darkest hour, is right before the dawn". Sometimes it's even true. Be well.

It is a lot sensuality within her songs and the songs are very thankful and she can greet in a very silent way.
Her songs are for joy and happiness and for dreaming and imagination, for adults and family and to make friends in silence by understanding the meaning between in her honest lines.
These songs are very romantic and nothing for cold-hearted people.

My friend's dog has cancer, I remember sitting up all night with my orange tabby cat Leo all night before the vet appointment the next morning when he was sent away to peace and this song was on repeat as he liked it. Life is sweet and sad, I miss my boy.

It's a rainy day in July and I just come home from a long day. Undress out of work clothes and into something comfortable. Let my hair down and pour myself some wine, walking bare foot in my apartment. And this, is what is playing in the background. Perfect.

There is something about this song, with it's subtle sadness and dreamy lyrics.., it would surely bring peace to one's mind even in life's worst moments.

I lost my dad in 2020, I heard this song shortly after his passing…3 years later I am listening to it again and my thought goes to my dad he was a great man took care of all of us including my mom. She got very sick years ago and he stepped up and did pretty much everything for us

I’m certain that you realize how blessed you are to have had a father like that. I’m crying because my own was nowhere near and nothing like yours is. I’m so jealous.

She has such a distinct voice. It's so calming to me. It brings back memories of my brother-in-law, who introduced me to Norah Jones. He passed away way too young. I miss him terribly.

Here because this some pretty much encompasses what it's like to be smitten and madly in love. This song takes me back to a time I was madly in love for the first time in my life. I didn't experience this emotion until my early twenties. I fell head over heels for this guy during our FIRST date. I knew I was gonna marry him. No one writes about this side of love much anymore. Artists seem to prefer writing songs about sex and bad breakups rather than a romantic song.

Sometimes...i just need this song. It quiets the voices. Calms the soul. Slows the beating of my heart to a point that I'm in the music. To just BE for 3 minutes and 20 seconds. To just be.

Years back I drove cross country by myself to move back to my hometown I must have listened to this song a dozen or so times. My mind was never clearer or my body so relaxed. Every now and then I dream of being in that moment and it never ending. I've never reached that tranquility since then
