I can relate to that. Different circumstances, but 20 years ago I clung to the FLH CD like it was a literal comfort blanket during a specifically depressing period. Severe depression caused by bereavement. It wasn't just FLH but at that time it was the new "hotness" from Norah and I only very rarely played her debut album, and no music from anyone else no matter how good they are seemed to do anything. FLH calmed my mind even if only for brief periods, I would have gone insane without Norah Jones back then.
When I was in middle school, it rained so much that I took a taxi. Then "don't know why" was playing on the radio. I can't forget that moment. After that, I went to a local music store, bought a new album, CD, and listened to it over and over again at home. Thank you for making memories of my life!

Under-rated and under-appreciated. Been a fan for over 25 years and she just gets better and better. She's also my cat Kitty's favorite singer. As soon as he hears her voice, he stops everything and is completely still and listening until the entire album ends. 👍👍🫶😇

And each note shines through, each is clear and distinct and a true compliment to the piano. Her two songs would be lessened without those notes. *That's* a great musician! I remember sitting in my truck with a girl in 2003 after a crazy winter day, waiting for "Come Away with Me" to play on the CD so I could give her the first kiss. But it was like track 5 or something, so finally I skipped ahead to it and gave that kiss and told her I could not wait so many songs. That girl is long gone from my life, but the memory is fresh like yesterday. God Bless You, Norah Jones...

Wow same! Dallas native but lived in Vegas early 2000s. Heard her flying into Dallas from Vegas one summer on Southwest Airlines, I belive, when they gave out headphones to plug into the armrest. Shortly thereafter, I found out she has Dallas roots. Been one of my favorites since. I think of home when I hear her.

I didn't know much about music that time and the artists, but when my sister played your CD in the car, it was one of the happiest and memorable moments of my life, and i wish i can just go back to that time where everything was easier. To be honest, i grew apart with that sister for reasons, but at least when i go looking back on the better times, the car rides with your music was one of the good memories of our time together that i'll cherish forever. thank you!

Norah Jones has been something that binds me and my mom, it's a sound thats been there since i was really young and I've known all the lyrics to most of her songs since i was very little.
