You know what would be awesome a cage match style month but with Adam Sandler because like Cage their are soooo many Sandler movies it’s insane.. just an idea lol
I don't know why they didn't make a 3 sooner. 2 made more money than one and the films are well received among fans (critics don't care for them surprisingly.) So I just don't get the delay.
I absolutely adore National Treasure myself I was introduced to the film back in 8th grade during a school wide positive reward day. Ever since then I still continue to praise it for how much fun it is. I can watch it like a gazillion times and never get tired of it.
I'm pretty sure this is Doug Walker doing these intros, and for as much shit as he gets (sometimes deservedly so), these intro sequences (and Cage imitations) are probably the best parts of the video!
My favorite here is easily Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans. Love the title, too. I think the original Abel Ferrara movie is much better, but I look at this as a franchise of films that are perfect for the DTV age. Different locations, different bad lieutenants. I have been wanting to see a third movie with Mathew McConaughey playing the title role and set in Texas. Killer Joe suggests he'd be perfect.
I wanted to say that I really enjoy watching you folks review films. I own both of these films and would have to agree with James that National Treasure is a great film. I like the sequel film and just found out that Cage will be doing a third National Treasure film and that should be great too. Keep up the great work.
King of New York, Ms. 45, Bad Lieutenant .. Driller Killer! Abel Ferrara's exploitation output was great. Driller Killer was officially banned in UK on video, one of the infamous video nasties.
It’s interesting to me to watch three people talk about how they like National Treasure. I’ve seen it twice and I like it, it’s a fun movie, but I think everyone I’ve talked to about it over the years only talks about how dumb it is. Like how there’s no ocean next to Mount Rushmore. I just like it for being entertaining. It doesn’t have to be historically or geographically accurate.
Just watched “Arsenal” the other night. 2017, cage plays a gangster. Pretty surprising and good. Kept me interested and entertained. Small part for John Cusack too.
The final hallucinatory dancing scene in Port of Call is definitely a call back to the final "dancing chicken" scene in Herzog's Stroszek. Same song too!
I made quick plans with friends to go to PAX in San Antonio. Didn’t even see who was going to appear. What a treat it was seeing Justin and Josh and finally nabbing the AVGN movie!
I've heard that since John Hancock was the president of the Continental Congress, he wanted to take the most heat for the revolution so that's why he signed his name the largest.
The funniest thing about Sean Bean surviving Silent Hill movies is that the character he plays in the one that's based on Silent Hill 3 game - the father of the main character - his death actually kickstarts everything so in the one movie where his death makes sense, nope, survives.
Nicolas Cage is my favorite actor of all time. He has that crazy charisma and he takes a lot of really good roles. Bad Lieutenant is also one of my top 5 movies of all time. Its hilarious and suspenseful all at the same time.
I enjoyed "National Treasure," but I loved, loved, loved "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call, New Orleans." When Nic Cage is on, no other actor can touch him.
If you guys like the Ocean's Eleven aspect of these types of movies, you should totally watch The Great Train Robbery with Sean Connery. It was FANTASTIC!
National Treasure is my favorite, my sisters and I quote that movie every chance we can haha - about to open door “The only way out.. is through the Treasure room!”
Did any one notice how Nick Cage, found the Charolette under only 6” of snow and how lucky was it that the name of the boat was at the exact point of discovery… how fortunate
17:51 "Cage plays Terrance McDunnough".. What?! And he also plays H.I. McDunnough in Raising Arizona. Are these both part of a Cage Universe? Weird. Raising Arizona is of course a masterpiece by the way!

Whoever at Cinemassacre reads these comments needs to show the guys Bringing out the dead that’s nutty Nic Cages best role
& Raising Arizona
You should look up "Nicolas Cage Losing His Shit" on youtube :)
You know what would be awesome a cage match style month but with Adam Sandler because like Cage their are soooo many Sandler movies it’s insane.. just an idea lol
Nick Cage is a national treasure
100 percent certified fact
Was looking for this comment, I agree with the above statements.

They literally just announced national treasure 3. Good timing
Are you joking???????
Not so much an announcement, but rather a confirmation that it is being worked on.

26:56 "I've never seen anybody breakdance to a harmonica" Bad Lieutenant wins haha
Director Werner Herzog never bothered to watch the original Bad Lieutenant, because he's Werner Herzog.
Abel Ferrara is an awesome director and Bad Lieutenant (NC-17 version) is a masterpiece. Some of Keitel's best work too.
He should have because the remake is worthless, the original is a dark new york indie classic
Never watched a Star Wars movie either, despite now being a canon character.
@@jlassh whats so worthless about it
Ill be kind of bummed when cage match is finished with. I love these videos, thanks Cinemassacre

I would love to see James and co to review Raising Arizona. Nic Cage and the Cohen brothers, you can't go wrong with that
That film is wild, unpredictable, and a classic.
not to mention John Goodman, love Raising Arizona, almost forgot Randall Tex Cobb who plays the bad ass Bounty Hunter.
Some fun fact I love about Nic Cage is that he loves old mecha anime like Mazinger and Gundam. Dude is awesome.
I'm pretty sure this is Doug Walker doing these intros, and for as much shit as he gets (sometimes deservedly so), these intro sequences (and Cage imitations) are probably the best parts of the video!
Werner Herzog, "There was a movie called Bad Lieutenant, really? Well, I never heard of it."
That is an AMAZING idea.
That breakdance scene in bad lieutenant is one of the best nick cage scenes in history. It perfectly sums up what goes on in that mans head.
Gone in 60 Seconds VS Drive Angry please!
The internet needs this to happen.
@@clblanchard08Nice to know they made this a reality
@@FrenchToast663 even tho I disagree with them on that one
Seen National Treasure several times, very enjoyable. Haven't seen Bad Lieutenant: New Orleans, but from the clips shown it looks fantastic.

Glad to here they enjoyed National Treasure, one of my favorite Nick Cage movie as well, if not THE favorite
Finally, someone else genuinely love National Treasure just like I do. Thought I was the only one
It must be a "James" thing bc I do too.

"I'm a pretty big history buff" ... doesn't really know why John Hancock's signature is so large.

Matchstick Men
Nicholas Cage

Absolutely! I've seen it 20 times at least. It's just so fun and I love all the characters. The rewatch value is really high on this one.

CAGE MATCH: Gone in 60 Seconds VS Drive Angry
There’s so many Nic Cage movies they can compare and Review I hope this Cage Match series last awhile!
Apparently Sean Bean is now making it part of his contract for any movie he signs on for that his character must survive.
This review actually reminded how GOOD National Treasures is. I remember liking it as a kid, but never came back to it. Now I wanna watch it again.
Just watched “Arsenal” the other night. 2017, cage plays a gangster. Pretty surprising and good. Kept me interested and entertained. Small part for John Cusack too.
I totally watched that movie too! It was okay.
Kurt Franklin you should check out Drive Angry
RATEDMik I’ve seen it. It was okay.
Arsenal is a prequel/ sequel to his 1993 film deadfall

Lmao....whose doing those Nicholas Cage impersonations? Had me cracking up!!
I was born in 2001, so this movie was Indiana Jones for my generation. I loved it when I was a kid and I still love it now.
I've heard that since John Hancock was the president of the Continental Congress, he wanted to take the most heat for the revolution so that's why he signed his name the largest.
That drive through was big daddy's in Newport Kentucky where I live!
I love James reactions to Tony stating opinions as fact. "It was trying to be the next Indiana Jones." James - "Hmm. 😐"
There is already a Wizard Of Oz RPG. It's called "Wizard Of Oz: Beyond The Yellow Brick Road" for Nintendo DS.
The funniest thing about Sean Bean surviving Silent Hill movies is that the character he plays in the one that's based on Silent Hill 3 game - the father of the main character - his death actually kickstarts everything so in the one movie where his death makes sense, nope, survives.
Man I wish he did a rental review on Harvey Keitel's Bad Lieutenant.

Best decije ev.
hear hear .. Da Vinci Code is based on a blatant lie people still believe is real.. it disgusts me
Lucky you found it, it had a tiny release in only a few theaters.
I’d like to see the bad lieutenant character in place of the Ben Franklin Cage character in National Treasure.
They left the alligator on screen so long I had to laugh by the end.

One of my film professors was DP on some of Abel Ferrara's movies including Bad Lieutenant
Bad Lieutenant is his best movie, IMHO.
Mandy, also very good
Raising Arizona, Nic Cage in a comedy movie, directed by the Cohen Brothers
I'd say Raising Arizona and Mandy are his best but i love him in everything really lol
I enjoyed "National Treasure," but I loved, loved, loved "Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call, New Orleans." When Nic Cage is on, no other actor can touch him.
Wow I just saw Bad Lieutenent on the same day this was uploaded! Good timing I suppose!
Cave of Forgotten Dreams is a good documentary and the cave paintings that it's about are amazing.

Face Off vs. Wicker Man. Two bizarre movies with crazy Nic Cage roles.
"I've never seen anybody breakdance to a harmonica" is a great thing to say :D

The Michael Crichton book it's based on is fantastic too.
Wild at Heart. Truly an amazing Nick Cage movie
GyroMurphy it’s no Lord of War 😜
I've seen Bad Lieutenant about 12 times... LOVE it !
Werner Herzog is amazing in 'Jack Reacher', genuinely creepy as the main villain. His role in Mandalorian is like the diet version of that.
Brilliant idea to have this series
I love Cage Match!!! Keep em up!!!
I think that Cage Match is here to say given that Nicholas Cage makes films faster than Cinemassacre can upload these videos.
I've actually never seen Bad Lieutenant, but I feel like I definitely need to rewatch National Treasure now!
I love PORT OF CALL (that's what I call it; the full title is ridiculously long for no reason). It's such an underrated movie.
In Division 2 you can actually go down into the Declaration's vault...its pretty freakin cool.
The lore with the size of John Hancock's signature is he signed it so largely so the king could read his signature without his glasses.
Love the National Treasure movies. Hopefully part 3 actually gets made.
Tony Mumraw It is being made. 🙂
I hope you guys do Drive Angry. It's a fun one.
Good review on National Treasure. You forgot to mention the DVD Menu and how to unlock it.
When are you going to do Raising Arizona.
The doc on Richard Stanley is epic.
Werner Herzog was also in one episode of Parks and Rec. He was the weird dude April and Andy bought that weird house from.
Is there a possibility you guys can squeeze in a month dedicated to Monty Python?
i think my favourite nick cage deal is still raising arizona...never seen a movie like it.
The intro's to these are just brilliant, well done guys!

keep watching national treasure at least once a month , best Nic Cage movie ever
National Treasure is one of the few movies where Sean Bean doesn't die.
He doesn't die in Ronin, he just gets made a fool of and ditched not even halfway through the movie.
There actually IS a Wizard of OZ RPG on the DS, subtitled Beyond the Yellow Brick Road.
The Croods vs Into the Spiderverse. Two family friendly Nic Cage performances.
Werner Herzog never even bothered to watch a Star Wars film so...
