I love how James was over thinking the concept of the character. The character is suppose to be a literal representation of a live Tex Avery cartoon. Fun fact Jim Carey actually loves watching old cartoons in his spare time which I think is why he is so wild with his performance in a very improve fashion. He just takes that over the top wild appeal that cartoons had and applies it to his comedy.
