One scene in Face/Off that always stood out to me is the part where Archer and Castor are leaning against opposite sides of a two-sided mirror, and when they turn to face each other they each see their reflection which is actually depicting the face of each man's rival.

Face off is really enjoyable in spite of it being goofy. John Woo's action is what holds it together. Adaption is a fantastic film. One of Cage's best. The end is really emotional and everyone gives a great performance. One of the best films about the act of writing along with Barton Fink.

I remember thinking the same, the movie worked but it was a very risky idea, you could say the same about pulp fiction, another risky idea where the middel part, the end and the start of the movie are all over the place, i think it works beacuse tarentino just was clever enough to know how to put his ideas to life, same for Kaufman.

Agree with James' choice (given the Matchup's condition of which film is MORE "Cagey"), but these are Apples and Oranges - they're both AWESOME movies in their own rights and NOT to be compared neatly. Also Missed Opportunity: mentioning Donald Kaufman's (Cool Cage Twin's) screenplay "The 3," where there is a climactic scene which involves a man on a motorcycle and a man on a horse; there is that ACT 3 scene in GHOSTRIDER where Sam E. rides his Hellfire Horse and CAGE rides his fiery motorcycle! Yes! I was hoping you guys would do Face Off. It's one of my favorite Nick Cage movies. Although it's kinda dumb and in no one way shape or form makes sense seeing as how they have completely different body types and voices! Lol but I have fond memories of it cus I saw it at the Drive-In as a kid with my Dad

You guys are literally the best. These are just my favourite things. So thank you for the Cage Matches, I've seen about half of the movies. Adaptation is classically the best but lacking Cage-iness as was stated at the end, I think Bad Lietunant and Vampire's Kiss win for Cage Moments. Though if you do more Cage Matches, and I REALLY hope you do, I think that Wicker Man (obvs), Weather Man and Raising Arizona should all be done and probably a bunch of movies I haven't seen. He's in a movie with Kelsey Grammer (Cheers, Frasier) so that should be interesting. Cheers, guys, keep up the outstanding work, these videos are the best review videos on the 'tube I swear.
