*Drive Angry* was one of the most bombastic, entertaining 3D films I've ever seen in theaters. The fact that it gave absolutely ZERO fucks about the fact that it was going to be over-the-top blowing things up in your face nonstop matched the over-the-top everything else that the movie had. I remember that my buddy and I went opening night, and were the only two in the theater, and we were in _TEARS_ of laughter and enjoyment at the sheer audacity of everything in this, because you can tell that everyone involved in the movie is having a fucking blast doing it. We left the theater knowing that there was no way you could ever successfully market this, especially after how *Grindhouse* significantly underperformed, but I've absolutely shown this movie to a good number of people and they've all loved it for the absolutely crazy ride that it is.
Drive Angry. Drive Angry is the single craziest movie I’ve ever seen and I love it for that. It’s utterly incredible. I cannot believe that Cage is actually the least over actory of the whole movie. Literally EVERYONE is over acting in it and he’s one of the most subdued. It even ends on a Meatloaf song. I adore it.
Drive Angry is a better match-up for Ghostrider

Henry Kingi (El Scorpio) is one of my favorite people to spot in movies. He's a stuntman and, aside from henchmen, he does a lot of stunt driving. He's Tyrese's stunt driver in a couple of the Fast & Furious movies. He's Walton Goggins's hench-driver in Ant Man & The Wasp and you can spot him several times.

Everything is awesome about these movies, Guns, car chases, the roar of the engines. I didn't see the original, so I don't share the same reference as you guys, I missed out. "Drive Angry" has the better soundtrack for sure tho.
Kinda funny, my friend who was trying to be a stand up comedian used to have a bit where he ponders what it would be like if Nicolas Cage had starred in other movies. He specifically even had a Nicolas Cage as the terminator bit.
He should work on a funny bit where he speculates what would happen if Nic Cage had become an actor.

2000 Gone In 60 Seconds is perfect schlock movie of it's era.
I've done a lot of movie extra work in New Orleans. And my mom and aunt were the ones who helped get the jobs and Drive Angry was out for two years before I knew I was technically in it. Ironically most scenes I've ever been an extra are deleted scenes but the stories of being in drive angry specifically are some of my favorite times being an extra.
3D movies started in the late 40s early 50s. And since then it's had a Revival every decade.

As a massive car nerd, the only thing worthwhile in "Gone in 60 Seconds" was the cars. They were the real stars of the show, especially "Eleanor", the sexy as hell Mustang GT500. I was too young to drive back then but I wanted my own "Eleanor" more than I wanted my next breath.
The gt500 is overrated the Yugo is where it's at.

I loved the remake of Gone in 60 Second, and it really has more to do with being a car guy. There are some incredible cars and frankly I know it was cheesy but it was fun.

Once watched gone in 60 seconds with sound muted all the way down and some random speedcore dj set blasting at the same time. It was quite an experience. The footage weirdly matched the music here and there.
