You were commenting on the front grip being a little slick. You might consider adding skate board tape, or "Dragon Grip" tape to the grip front to increase your hold on the gun.
Thanks for the message of the cross. The most important thing you say in your video's. I've got both a Sting-Ray in 9mm, and the 45 steel-frame bob-tail. I've got 300 rounds through the 9mm, and about half that through the 45. Neither has ever bobbled the first time, FMJ or HP. I'm an old man and I've owned a lot of guns over the years, but these have quickly become my favorites.
Yeah the message of the gospel is more important than anything in this life for sure!in my opinion you can’t beat the Tisas 1911 for reliability or price.
Recently bought a stingray 45. Absolutely love it. The fit and finish is incredible for the money. My only issue was the hammer was hard to cock and crunchy feeling. I removed the main spring housing and sanded the bore and plunger, added a little gun grease and now it’s smooth like butter.
I have the B9R Carry 1911 and my first group you could cover with a silver dollar at 7 yards and a very close point of impact/point of aim. It whetted my appetite for more of the Tisas 1911 lineup. Thanks for the extended review.
I watched two other videos, then found yours. I have since ordered me a Stingray and just got an email today saying it was shipped. Should have it in a few days. I used to do gunsmithing and have a checkering file, so that front and back strap on mine will eventually be checkered. I just need to find my file chalk since they are aluminum. Can’t wait to get it.
I've been looking at this Tisas brand for a while. I picked up a 1911A1 Army model a while back and it's similarly flawless with several hundred rounds of four different types of JHP defensive ammo and three different brands of FMJs. I don't know why more expensive AMERICAN gun companies can't make a gun this good. Anyway, based on a few videos I was looking hard at this Tisas Stingray. After watching your video it did it for me. I ordered one, 9mm like yours, this morning after subscribing to your channel. Thank you for your time, effort, and the expense of showing everyone how good this Turkish gun is. Well done. By the way, what part of the country are you in? Looks like I'd enjoy the weather there. Florida is too hot and too crowded now. It's time for my wife and I to get out.
In my opinion you want be disappointed with the stingray.these other companies could do the same as Tisas and Rock Island but probably won’t because they know people will buy them because of the name.thanks for your comment and support friend.
It be nice if they included checkering on the front and back of grip but that also would increase the price,it’s kind bubba but I’m gonna put some grip or skateboard tape on there when I get mine I think.
Good vid. In review, I noticed the Wilson Combat mags tended to run more consistent than the factory mags. The ejection pattern seemed erratic with the Factory especially using ball.
I'd be all over that pistol if it was strictly a 1911A1 clone in .38 Super, .40S&W, or .45ACP as I already own one pistol in 9 Minimal and don't need or want another one. Excellent video as usual! Keep 'em coming!!!
Tisas makes one of the finest 1911A1 clones on the market. It's available in 45 and 9mm. I have a 45 version that has hundreds of rounds through it without a single issue. It's a very fine weapon. I picked it up from Palmetto for 350 on a Father's day sale. It's worth a lot more than I paid. Look up some reviews if you're interested.
@@2Afreedomrange Friend of mine just bought a Girsan (Tisas same thing) Browning Hi Power clone. Its the Match model. We shot it a few days ago and its not only accurate and reliable but the machining is actually better than my original Browning Hi Power.
Great video sir, very informative. I’m kinda stuck with the 9mm or 45 acp. What do you think? I already have a GI 45 acp. Would like this for CC would it be adequate? Also what’s your opinion of a 45 cal steel slide on a aluminum alloy frame? Would that be bad in the long term?
Either one would work be just a matter of preference.and as for the aluminum frame I can’t give you the answer I’ve not had long enough experience with them.
That's a fair question, and one I considered as well. But then I remembered that companies have been putting steel slides on aluminum frames for many, many years without trouble. For example look at nearly the entire Sig P series line of pistols. Sig has been using alloy frames since forever and have produced millions of them. The P226 has been a US military issue pistol for special forces since the 90s. I personally have several including the P220, P226, P224, P225, P229, and others. I've put many thousands of rounds through my P226 without issue. In fact it has never failed once since the day I bought it back maybe 7 years ago. So I would say it's well established there's no problem using a steel slide on an aluminum frame.
you know, you people that show the firearm is empty, the mag well is empty, an assure that no ammo is in the same room! really make me sick that you worry or care what some people on youtube think! it is unreal how this touchy-feely sick world has become! that being said, i have a Tisas 1911 tank commander and it is great! it is loaded! and in the same room with me! along with a lot of other loaded guns! but i am not stupid, i will not wield them around loaded, i assume you won't!

Not a lot of videos about this weapon. I picked one up and I have to say I am impressed with it for the price. Great video series!

Thank you for sharing all the Tisas stuff!! I just sent my Tisas commander slide out to get raptor cuts . Great stuff 👍👍

Great accuracy and reliability with my 45 acp model
They’re nice for sure.

It’s a nice shooting pistol for sure brother.
Just bought one in .45 acp own 3 other models very high quality for the money

I like it. That trigger looks nice.
It’s a nice pistol all around the grips could have better texture but that’s not a big deal to me.

Sounds like a winner I’ve not got to shoot one of those.
Tisas makes some great 1911s
Yeah I agree all the ones I’ve shot have been great.
Good video on the tisas 1911 9mm …but and even more important word of the cross of our Savior Jesus Christ…Thanks for recognizing him..

I do like the looks of this one 👍
Yeah they are nice for sure.
What’s the difference between the Bantom in the Stingray?
The bantom is just more custom made and cost more.

Does anyone have one that shoots low?
Mine doesn’t

Great video, sir. I just picked up the same gun. Which wilson combat mags are you running?
Thank you friend.the mags are Wilson Combat 1911 elite tactical 9m/m
If I were to carry a 1911, this would be the one.
