Hi My goal is to have high vertical jumps and increase my running speed. Can I use one of your training programs, or do I need to use two of your programs?
I would recommend sending me a DM and I can customize a program specifically for your needs
Best change of direction drills are 1v1s. You will naturally push and compete to a higher level then you ever will doing it by yourself. If you have to do it by yourself do drills that are timed so you can track how much quicker you are getting. Suicides for time is one of the best. 5 yards and back 10 yards and back. Then repeat. Depending on your fitness level is how many reps you should do. Does this drill make you any quicker? Nope just gets you in better shape but you wont see any major jumps. My 11 year old daughter has a 4.70 sec 5-10-5 or 20 yard shuttle by simply competing vs quicker kids and being competitive. At 40 i had a 4.9 still and it was never by doing any of these drills or jumping on one leg drills.
