Hey thanks! Sure will do
Hey Prateek, I love these videos of yours and a huge fan of your series with Tanmay. I noticed that you guys dropped a few references from Nassim Nicholas Taleb's books. The whole black swan thing from today's episode and you've mentioned the roulette thing a few times as well, which I am assuming you refer to from Fooled By Randomness. Now, I am a huge fan of Nassim Nicholas Taleb as well. Out of all the books on trading and investing, I found his the most interesting and useful, since it seems to be rooted in being factual and mathematical which makes trading feel a lot more approachable. Something that you are doing too with your whole focus on creating a system and sticking to it. Now, I wanted to know if you've come across more books that are like his. Books that focus on systems, patterns, and probability. As I mentioned, I find this approach more illuminating, so if you could help me out by recommending books that you've come across in your trading journey, that are similar to Nassim's works, that'd be great.
You guys read minds, remember in the previous video I commented stating you bring out the answers to the topics we need and here you are again. Great research, unbiased opinion and amazing Editing. Keep it up guys.
We read every single comment very dilligently and try to work towards the suggestions. I'm so so so happy you commented and got what you needed! Thank you Sudipto ❤️❤️
This afternoon I was re-searching about In which type of fund should I start my journey & Voila! Seriously you guys read minds... :p
Haha how are we doing this? *Switches off mind scanner* 👹

Thank You so much sir....
Always welcome bhai 😃🙂
Appreciate the honesty that you have shown in this video. A lot of RUclipsrs and other channels are promoting active funds by saying a lot of active Indian fund manager beat the index. One guy I saw on RUclips even said that he mailed Jack Bogle and Jack replied to him that even he won't invest in Indian Index Funds but that person didn't shown any email screenshot. Another popular RUclipsr even went on saying many mutual fund beats the index by 8-10% consistently. If you are a salaried person and don't have time to do research, just go for an Index fund. Make sure AUM is high and stay invested in it till your goal is reached.
Update(30Jun21): One of the Flipkart CoFounder Sachin Bansal's Navi AMC is going to launch the cheapest index fund

@@PrateekSinghLearnAppPrateek Sir thanks for replying. Everyone at first just wants to learn basics. Videos related to current markets are helpful, but basics are indeed helpful for a broader section of people. Actually the thing is there are a lot of teens and men in their early 20s searching for investing knowledge. And with a teacher like you and with your amazing teaching style, everyone loves gaining knowledge. On the channel, I particularly enjoy your videos more.
Got it! Thanks alot Pranav :) - Prateek
@@PrateekSinghLearnApp You're Most Welcome Sir :-)
According to my research the Mutual Funds beating the index from last 5 years are :-
1. Parag Parikh Flexi Cap Fund | CAGR- 20.89%
2. Kotak Small Cap Fund | CAGR- 22.08%
3. Franklin U.S. Opportunity Fund | CAGR- 25.24%
4. PGIM India Flexi Cap | CAGR- 21.09%
All are 5 year CAGR. Correct me if I am wrong !
Parag parikh invests 10% into international market
Kotak small cap is just that. It's small cap hence higher risk
Man the benchmark of these funds is not Nifty 50, compare it to their respective indices
Yeahh true!! 💯❤️

I use value research online to find the best mutual funds and check the data. I can see the index funds launch date of the year as 2013. But in this example, Prateek is showing data numbers for the last 20-40 years. Can someone guide me on how I can see those index mutual funds?
Hey chetan, we are all here to help you always 😁
But didn't actually get you, can you explain it properly to us? Thanks 😊😊
@@PrateekSinghLearnApp I am seeing index funds launch year as 2013. In the video, Prateek was speaking about index mutual funds data from the past 30-40 years, but I don't see funds launched in 2000's or earlier at least in Value Research Online website.
1. Can you share how this index funds returns were calculated?
2. If there are funds launched earlier than 2013, Can you please share the link where I can check them?

Index fund best.. said by warren buffet
Whats direct and regular plan?
Hey direct plan is the one where you directly invest through AMC.
Regular plan is the one where you invest through a broker giving them commission!!
Is a tracking error of about 33% acceptable in an ETF?
Hey, do compare it with other ETFs tracking the same underlying.
Then only you will get the best idea 😊
I think Nifty50 ETF & NiftyNext50 ETF is better in terms of costs/ expense ratio than Nifty50 Index fund or NiftyNext50 Index fund in the long term.
Please answer this If I choose to continuously invest in an ETF rather an Index fund, for say 20 years both SIP and in lumpsum at dips, Is it bad? What is the worst that could happen?
Why does that active fund manager at 1:38 look like you? 😀
I promise you I'm not that fit 😂😂😂😂😂
This is not true, India’s indices are not well designed as us. So in long term rightly chosen active funds will anyday outperform the index funds.
Yeahh!! Might be true 😉

Why should I pay, learn and build a active portfolio which never outperform index 😂
Hey avinash!! We never mentioned *never*
