Not necessarily though there is a fair amount of overlap but that’s not necessarily a negative. Most important thing is to have a nice balanced portfolio (: I got into the market with about 67K fourteen months ago, current portfolio value is ~$580K and growing 👌Cheers
I lost a lot chasing individual stocks and I feel pretty stupid for not understanding how investing works. I have a double major in economics but I’ve been trying to make sense of the market. Well done on profits!
Keep it simple, buy things you understand, take some risk but don't try to shoot the lights out. I’m invested in equity index funds, ETFs and various high-quality stocks and use a CFA. On average, she takes 10% of earnings, but using Lina Dineikiene’s system makes it much more hands-off. I conservatively follow her recommendations and market entry and exit points, and tbh this allows me to balance my time between investments and my personal life
Another gem of a video...hv started investing already...though already too late as am 49....but better late than never..... investing mostly in equity now to compensate for timeloss
That 100-age system for investment in such a safe segment is something I will try for a decade.. And I'm just 25.. hope it's going to do wonders with my portfolio 😊
I ahve been user of zerodha, since they launched and have been seeing rangappa and you in varsity and different videos, watching you guys feels safe and in right hands. Great presentation and good to see some really knowledgeable guys who are down to earth and simple. Thank you 😊
Awesome stuff Prateek! NO BS, to the point explanation. I was looking for a framework and found this gem. loving these knowledge nuggets. keep them coming.
Hey Prateek, for some reason RUclips recommended your videos because I have been into the Kamath brother videos since a couple months! Thank you RUclips . You and the team are doing a wonderful job! Thank you for being fun and quirky at times. You earned a fan and a downloader of the app..
I was aware of etfs and have been investing in them for around 7-8 months but i didnt know about volume and all stuff. im glad that i click on this video. From now on I will look after those factors before investing into another ETF.
What are your thoughts on moving from individual stocks to ETF? That would mean selling and taking a loss on some stocks I want a balanced portfolio, with growth investments, safe investments, and also a focus on dividends
Prateek - You are slowly becoming my addiction to watch your video regularly. I love the way you deliver and energy levels. Keep up the good, And not to forgot thanks for your team who are really good work. And today's video was my favurite one.
Kudos to to this teams videos...really eye opening and to the point and actually helpful with real knowledge and wealth creation....great job Prateek and your team...
Thanks Prateek for another great video. I learnt the M-RSI 2 strategy from you and using it for almost 6 months now. Have my chartink query for the same condition with ETFs. It's working excellently
Prateek...i just saw this video on the early hours of 8th Sep and its like a strong morning coffee shot. You and your ideas are very contagious sir ... i like your energy and enthu to explain important concepts simple and sweet....thanks to your and your team :).
Dear Prateek.. What an awesome, informative video. Worth watching.. and Yes, someday when i meet you in an Airport or at Railway station, will definitely show you my ETF investment portfolio and say "Hey! Your video on ETF was good." Cheers! ☺
Indeed, learned a new thing In ETF today. Good job being done by Prateek Sir & team. You always bring things which happen but by common eyes it's not visible.😊
That was a nice video of sharing good and precise info in ETF, Prateek!! I haven’t had a thought of investing in ETF so far, but this video has given me very good insights to invest now.. Thanks for sharing them..
Love you for doing this for your son! In his case he’ll have many many more years to his advantage. Please use an online compound interest calculator to find out his number :)
Hi Prateek... I have been investigating in ETF for last two years never earned the dividend from my ETF investment though the underlying stock have paid dividend. Do I loose money from in investment in ETF by not getting my dividend. When I read online they say it reinvest but how does it benifit me if it doesn't increase my no of stock. Dividend reinvestment should increase my stock count. Please explain me where I am missing I know I am wrong. Thank you
Thank you Prateek for the invaluable knowledge. Just the kind I like (different and spot on). I'm slowly and steadily getting hung up on these quality videos. Keep the great job going bro 😃🤘
I am retiring next yr at 57 with steady income stream from my dividend portfolio total $250,000 a yr to live comfortably, All thanks to my Investment manager. I love S&P 500 SOO MUCH! Also 3 houses paid off worth 4.5 million. One is my place of residence the other 2 properties will give me $150,000per/yr rent. I also have no debts... Stay Motivated!!🌹✅
Amazing! I have Liquid $500K to put into stocks, but I want to ensure good profits & safety. With tons of Advisors now, how did you find the right Investment Advisory?
WOOW !! Essmildaa Morgan is finally getting the popularity she deserves and this doesnt come as a surprise. my favorite stocks She invest in are Amazon,Walmart, TELSA and currently, Crowdstrike.
In the video you are talking about volume. Could I invest in Gold EFT NFO?? One more question, investing in NFO is a good choice or not?? For anything like ETF, Mutual fund.
My question is about position sizing and risk management. Ex: My capital is 1,00,000, stock price is 840, entry price is 840, SL price is 841, my risk is = entry price - SL price, and if my risk per trade is capital 1%, my qty formula is 1000/1 (risk), but I don't understand why I am not able to buy 1000 qty because 1000*850 = 8,50,000 required capital, or even if my broker gives me 5x margin, I am not able to buy 1000 qty, so what is the right method to calculate qty?
Thank you this is a good video , just want to know about adding 5ygsec bonds in the portfolio. I have not yet added those in my portfolio and want to know how to do it and thank you for the knowledge ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Thanks Prateek, I have been watching you for a couple months and I am a fan of how you are presenting content in a friendly way. I wanted to listen to you about sectors which will be fastest growing in India in the coming decade, so that we can accumulate it in our portfolio. Also what do you think about REIT and InVit?
@prateek - In the video you stressed on junior bees. May we know the rationale behind choosing junior instead of nifty bees. junior bees gets rebalanced quite often unlike nifty 50 and due to which expense ratio is higher? Also is it not riskier than nifty bees in terms of returns?. I would have hoped to see a combination of nifty 50 +junior. Let us know your thoughts
I am a new subscriber and will check on these. Thanks a lot..... Also could you do a video on Nifty index 50 funds buying directly from the broker site.
How ETFs differ from index funds in terms of CAGR over a long period ? Can you make a video on the investment strategy for a salaried person, who's doing SIP, but want to beat the index returns in the long run
Hi Prateek, Thank you for your video. I would like your advice on the following point: Suppose I purchase an ETF based on its volume, and my intention is to sell that ETF after 10 years. What if I can't sell it after 10 years due to a drop in volume, and I can't find a buyer? Is there any way I could sell it even if there are no available buyers?
NICE. I have a 3 fund portfolio but I have finally decided to invest in ETFs, alongside. I’m looking at SCHD, VOO, XLK or SCHG.
Awesome picks! I like VOO and SCHD equally!
@@VanillaCherryBread thank you! Actually would it be silly to have both?

I have invested in almost all the Etf available in market
70% amount in etf
30% in stocks
