S in CANSLIM does not stand for scarcity in market, it stands for supply and demand of stock in the market. Estimated based on no. of shares outstanding (supply) and demand (average traded volume). The book recommends to look for stocks that have increasing demand.
Also the book recommends to look at quarterly earnings YoY basis and not sequential basis to rule out the seasonality

Hi learn app team, varun beverages's quarterly is volatile because of the season's i mean weather in summers there sale goes high so profit goes high. And in winters there's already cold then why anyone drink cold drinks.
That's why there yearly growth is good because it covers all quarter combined

Quaterly EPS growth in VBL should be observed on YOY basis because of seasonality, Q2 and Q3 on calendar year basis are their strongest quaters because of summers. And I think the CANSLIM formula also emphasises to compare quaterly EPS growth on YOY basis only.

Dear sir it was a wonderful sessions of a new concept. But I would like to add few comments on the screener that you have posted. In many stock the FII holding are minimal to nothing like 1% or even less. There should be a standard of % that the FIIs should hold like 25% or more then the Stocks are more reliable. Just a suggestion...

If FIIs owning a large chunk then there is always a risk of sudden price drop, so according to Peter Lynch we should avoid that stock which is already buzzing. What do you think sir?
That’s a good point but I don’t think we should let this one metric keep us from owning a stock. Instead find a company you’d like to own for ten years and hold else buy an index fund :)
