2024 KTM 300 XC First Ride - BIG Improvements

First ride and review on the 2024 KTM 300 XC with the brand new coil spring forks. Despite the bike not being set up for me, I felt comfortable on it immediately. The TBI (throttle body injection) power is incredible and feels like a tuned TPI bike out of the box. I was honestly surprised to feel a difference in the new forks vs. the old air forks on a short ride. The major components are the same and other than the forks, not much changed on the 2024 from the 2023. The forks make it a worthy upgrade for anyone on the market. Can't say enough good things about the premiere bike in KTM's off-road lineup.

Is the shock the same as the 2023?

So I ride a 22 SX-F 450. After a full day on that on Saturday I hopped on my friends 24 300XC.... I have to be honest, maybe it was just me riding it wrong or something, but it felt like a toy. It felt like it had no power or torque. It wasn't even in the same universe as my 450, not even close. Extremely soft suspension as well. Am I missing something here? I can't understand why anyone would want to ride that...

What do you think is more comfortable in a hare scramble situation the 250xcf or the 300 xc I kinda like to be a little lazy but love to go fast.

For me, the 300 XC, but I prefer 2 strokes in the woods.

Nice riding. Safe to say you were fastest on this bike? You were hitting the 250F pretty hard

I didn't check the lap times, but most likely. I bet the 150 XC-W wasn't too far off. On anything technical I'd definitely say the faster on the 300. The new forks are great. Were you there this year?

@@ShiftGearsMoto I didn't make it this year. Had the SVR harescramble on Sunday and couldn't swing riding both days. Not really in the market for a new bike anyhow, my bike is only a year old. I'll get out there this weekend and rip the loops though
