Watching through the first season, Porter calls Gorgug "Gorbag". Not sure if this was intentional or just a name that happened to pop up during improvisation. I like the idea that Porter was also Gorbag's barbarian teacher and like many teachers, mixed up the names without thinking about it.
That’s some epic story-telling right there if it’s on purpose, damn. Sadly(or more impressively) this was likely just good improv. It’s in my head cannon for sure now.
It’s perfectly believable Brennan pulled a name to misname Gorgug in the improv scene early on then just wrote it down for later because he thought it’d be a funny name for his dad to have when they met.
I think this was the first DnD game they ever played and from what they’ve said they’ve never played outside of Dimension 20 yet so it’s incredible how poetic and gifted their dice are and how quickly they became so feral in excitement over it.
Lou's 20 in the arcade is objectively the best reaction from everyone. All seven people collectively lose their minds and scream. Ally's 20s just defy all logic and probability in general. Always pulled out with perfect timing its the definition of preposterous.

fabian's nat 20 to get out of the arcade game is my favorite nat 20, but everyone's faces during ally's nat 20 to be not deaded is so good. brian's wide eyes and gasp, ally's fist pumps, lou not knowing what to do with his hands, siobhan's granny hoot and spread fingers, zac and emily's twin O mouths. so freaking good.

I was rewatching this because I absolutely love Ally's epic nat20 roll on that last battle and I noticed that Siobhan reaches her hand out to Ally as they say "this is to the corn god" and knowing that Adaine is the elven oracle, this blows my mind.
