Cross Blaze for Rex is also most certainly taken from Pyra and Nia's unique Level 4 Blade Art in Xenoblade 2, I forget which one; the final hit it an x shaped attack with two different elemental blades, in FR being Light and Fire rather than Fire and Water.
Nah, i can see it but that's a more obscure reference to make. A less obscure reference to make would be the fact that i think it's defo a reference to Morag's art: Azure II: Blaze

The motion of the actual strike aren't even the same. 2's was a jab/poke while 3's is a downward slash. If anything, it's just Burning Sword with Pneuma's sword and they slapped on the name Infinity Blade
This makes me wish that electric gutbuster was implemented into fr shulk's kit. Man I love that move.
LET'S SHOW THEM A THING OR THREE!
I LIKE YOUR ATTITUDE!
DOUBLE SPINNING EDGE DOUBLE DOUBLE SPINNING EDGE DOUBLE SPINNING EDGE ANCHOR SHOT-HA... ANCHOR SHOT-HA... SWORD BASH -SWORD BA.. -SWORD BASH. -DOUBLE SPINNING E... -DOUBLE SPINNI-
Cross Blaze for Rex is also most certainly taken from Pyra and Nia's unique Level 4 Blade Art in Xenoblade 2, I forget which one; the final hit it an x shaped attack with two different elemental blades, in FR being Light and Fire rather than Fire and Water.
This music is a masterpiece
Oh I didn't catch that Noah's class and A's class have cross over. I guess that is confirmation that Lucky 7 is a Monado.
It's actually a Monado Replica, essentially. I found that out in Luxin's YT video titled "XC3's gimmicks explained".
I think Rex's Cross Blaze looks like the last hit of Pyra and Nia's combo level 4, Union Sword
Nah, i can see it but that's a more obscure reference to make. A less obscure reference to make would be the fact that i think it's defo a reference to Morag's art: Azure II: Blaze
I know you barely have any videos, but i still love your content!
Thanks so much!
Pretty sure Rex’s Infinity Blade from 3, is essentially… Rex and Pneuma’s Infinity Blade from 2.
It is in name, and Rex combines the replica Aegis swords together to form what is essentially Pneuma's Aegis sword while using Infinity Blade in XC2, before using an attack in which the animation is very near identical to Rex & Pyra's LVL 4 Blade Special in XC2, Burning Sword.
So, to sum everything up, Rex's Infinity Blade in XC3 is a combination of his and Pneuma's Infinity Blade from XC2, and his and Pyra's Burning Sword from the same game.
The end of FR Shulk's animation for Monado Armour is also similar to the pose that Dunban uses when activating an aura - not sure if it's a specific one, or in general.
It's interesting Noah got a couple of A's animations. Maybe Alvis is the reason Noah and Mio reborn back into the cycle to stop N?
Why did nikol have to put so much body into yelling launch?
It keeps them launched in the air longer (scientifically proven) (trust me)
Did you check XC2 Vandham/dual scythes class at all? My immdiate thought was that the dual swrods had to have some animations from Vandham!
I don't remember anything from Vandham at all
I guess he didn't, but Rex's Dual Blast art in XC3 is the same art (animation-wise) as XC2 Vandham's Muscle Uppercut.
Mobs spinning spinning spinning weeeeeeee!
Isnt Noah's Night Breaker the same as one of Pandoria's moves where she sticks Zeke's sword into the ground? Cant remember which one
you're probably thinking of the level 4 special, but that seems different enough that it probably isnt a reference to that
@@Kylotlno, they're thinking of Thunder Doom, Pandoria's Level 3 Blade Special, and in which case, night breaker does have a somewhat similar animation.
Really awesome to see a new xeno content creator! Wish you the best of luck man!
That's Dunban over there!
If theres more can you show them off?? Like Ik A has 2 of Alvis’s arts when you initiate a chain attack with Alvis in the party in xc1 but i dont actually know what those look like.
3:19 the price you have to pay for having a fairly original weapon I guess
Glimmers illusory bloom looks kinda similar to ground beat
Yeah, true!
Glimmer shares art names with Patroka for some reason? Not animations I think, but Great Garland is definitely a Patroka art
Yeah, not animations, but Great Garland IS Patroka's Level 3 Blade Special, (if you're using her as a blade.) or one of her many arts. (If you're fighting her as a boss when she has her lance in the main story.)
Dude i honestly don't think these are just cute references but have lore implications. Prison island has become more mysterious and they reminded us about it for a reason, going back through i am noticing Matthew's coat and pants pattern on the monsters.
Isn't one of A's healing Arts a reference to the D-Pad Up Art for Noah's Lucky 7? The one where each sword is pointed into the sky, I mean.
No, i think Power Raiser from Noah has him holding some sort of gem (or gem-looking thing) in his hand and lifting his hand up, but correct me if i am wrong.
@@lemmyxpro Right, I forgot the name of it. I'm pretty sure it's Lucky 7 he thrusts in the air, as I used it quite a bit in the Gauntlet before getting an optimized Sena build set up. I could be wrong too, though.
Can you make Alpha's phase 1 skill comparison? I think some of his arts are similar to Shulk's art in XB1 like Monado Cyclone
DOUBLE SPINNING EDGE
awesome video it was nice seeing all the refernced but i have a question, whats the song you used when you were showcasing mathew?
It’s called “New Battle!!!” It’s the main combat theme for the dlc. Glad you enjoyed it :)
I was sad that Shulk didn't have his signature BACKSLASH!! I guess they thought he was too old to be doing that and/or either as Shulk stated in the game... he wasn't feeling it
That can't be true, as the new animation for Shulk's Monado Purge in XC3 looks kinda like a one-handed backslash already. Clearly, Shulk is still very capable.
It's most likely because they designed shulk to be a tank in Future Redeemed. and a move that has a damage bonus from the back doesn't really fit a kit that's supposed to hold onto aggro and have enemies facing him.
Cool
Thanks for watching!
So you didnt... compare shulk's slit edge, to shulk's slit edge?
Also glimmer may have some of haze's animations.
Does she??
A's sky foil is also Noah's air slash
Not exactly, but close
This is how sequels are supposed to be like them boys look dashing like a mtf 😂😂😂😮😮😮 Shulk and Rex....dam I think I want the game now 😂😂😂
Patroka and glimmer share some art names. Not sure about the animations
I don't think they share any animations, but they definitely share art names, namely: Great Garland.
Infinity blade is referenced to the special Pyra and Nia art in Xeno2 no!?!?
Rex's Infinity Blade in XC3 is a clear combination of Rex and Pneuma's Infinity Blade Special from XC2, and Rex and Pyra's Burning Sword from the same game, it's pretty easy to see, and to tell.
@@lemmyxpro I was pretty sure the unlockable dual art for Nia and Pyra in 2 was called Infinity blade?
@@josephaguilarjr6462 it was actually called Union Sword, but you were close!
Noahs' Infinity Blade animation is also similar to Rexs'
No? They're very different.
@@lemmyxpro the blasts are different, but the actions are similar
How did you use talent arts without the fancy camera angles?
In the settings of the game under the camera tab, at the very bottom there’s something called battle camera which you can toggle on and off :)
@@JorbitTheEarth oh my god that’s awesome thank you!
when i saw the statue of shulk in the founders area, i wanted shulk dunban so badly.
when i saw the teaser for future redeemed, my hope for shulk dunban only grew
(i didnt watch the second trailer)
and when i played him for the first time, noticing the returning animations, hyped as fuck, hitting the talent art button and SEEING BLOSSOM DANCE i freaked out and fangirled so hard i forgot i was a guy
Spoiler
It's only right that Gondhor fights like her great great great etc... grandfather
Bruh... 😂
I actually didn't think Matthew had unique animations. His are all slightly different than Martial Artist
Did you check A's arts against Alvis in 1?
well beans.....
omg shulk be a tanker???
suprised that nikol has nothing from poppibuster
Yeah we all know a good portion of arts and techniques were used from previous games were brought over to Xenoblade Chronicles 3 you're telling us a whole lot of stuff that we already know and yes we can see that but what can you do I mean it's xenoblade chronicles. But I wanna see what's so different from xenoblade chronicles future connected and chronicles future redeemed.
WAIT, you don't have to see the animation of the personal tactics obligatorily?
Huh?
