i rthink 7 mins for a dippy yolk nice onexx when my nana was with us when u were poorly she used to do you chopped egg in a cup with salt pepper and butter in it withtoast so so good xxxx
Thats brillant - i wouldnt know where to start on choosing or using an air fryer, so a practical example to watch was really useful. Must say, i was impressed at consistency across the 2 eggs. Must look into this Ninja thing. Thanks DJ.
Air fryers R still a new concept to many Darren ..... me as an example .... 😁 Keep up the tips, love them ....... will be eating boiled eggs 4 a week now ... 🤗🤗
I absolutely love the air-fryer. I have a double and a single. It’s quicker and healthier. I’m almost tempted to get ride of the stove/Oven/cooker whatever you want to call it. I made a really lovely homemade curry last night from beginning to end 20 mins. Roast potatoes are lovely in there too although you probably already knew that 😂. Great video have a super lovely Sunday Darren 😊
Hi Darren, Thankyou for this video. Your Eggs look very nice from your Air fryer. I Love White Eggs, very American 🎉 Love your cooking videos from your lovely Home 💖
Of the charts Mr Darren John yet again, these tips are fantastic 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I love you're home cooking and maybe if you have a chance try doing a Scotch egg in the air fryer - love them, take care and keep up the fantastic vids 👍🏻👍🏻😁😁
Just read you’re going to Bangkok mate, I’m there again in 4 days time for the umpteenth time this year, you’ll love it, try the Samala hotel soi 15, book in advance direct with them, new hotel, great price and you’re bang in the centre but down a quiet street, 5 mins from skytrain and MRT👍
Boiled eggs minus the boiling! Looked good but I wonder if you could get a runny (but not undercooked) yolk? It would take a little experimentation, I guess.
Darren the only thing missing was a sticking plaster interesting but boiling an egg is quicker you don't need iced water,I prefer a poached egg with my gadget takes 40seconds a smear of butter no egg to peel .
My better half does me a poached egg every morning . She has a plastic bowl with a lid which she puts a tea spoon of water in then cracks the egg in it and cooks for 40 seconds in the microwave .Perfect every time .
😢 I'm old Darren, dogs, tricks, old, teach new rearranged into a timeless saying.,gives you my view. Back in the stone age, when I trained for my City& Guilds (147/151) at college whilst working in a professional environment ( kitchen) it was just that a KITCHEN 😊 Now its a cross between a science laboratory and a NASA control unit 😮 Oh my days 😢 I can't be doing with the modern trends. I only own a Microwave ( to re heat ) and a Food Processor ( to chop certain foods,as can't grip knives to well anymore)The array of new equipment on the market over the years have passed me by.However, don't get me wrong. Anything that leads people into preparing food for themselves or families & friends is brilliant, and should be encouraged 😊😊 Guess I'm just an old-fashioned 👦. Another interesting, informative video, it's what you do best my friend. In the kitchen or the streets of London ❤😊 keep it up. Allan&Family
@DarrenJohn But you said you preferred runny eggs and those were hard build so I assume if you done then for maybe 8 minutes they would have been runny
seems alot of trouble for a boiled egg...I much prefer ordering one at a caff..no washing up,no iced water,no having to carry the eggs from the fridge etc..(so exhausting that).
Have resisted the temptation to get an air fryer and bin the old deep fat fryer for some time now. More and more I'm seeing how versatile they are and no trips to the dump with used cooking oil. Perhaps we should elect an air fryer as the next prime minister is it can't do a worse job than the current WEF muppet.
Great , I’ll be doing that . Thanks Darren 🙏🏼😜👍
Good more air fryer recipes please.😘

Can’t beat the old fashioned saucepan method mate, my sister cooks them in the air fryer
No mess, no washing up - done

Another good tip for the Air Fryer...Thanks DJ
Well I'll be giving that a go. Excellent vid Darren.

I keep getting told to get one but I wouldn’t know where to begin. Maybe one day along with a pressure cooker
Brilliant!! Need more air fryer recipes!! What cooking instructions for a runny dippy egg??

Hi Darren brilliant air fryer
Hi darren great blog still getting the shell out of my teeth only jokeing keeps milling kid 👋👍👌😁
Never thought to use air fryer will give it a try
Brilliant x
Never tried that in the air fryer. I will give it a go.
Takes 5 minutes in a pan of boiling water, perfect runny yolk every time, 6 minutes for a solid yolk
Did the inner skin do the skin of the shell stick to the egg
Same air fryer as me Darren gonna try that now keep up the good work 👌
Yummy 😋. Will have to buy an Air Fryer now .. great video
Hope you enjoy
Hi Darren , the eggs look really nice . The white eggs very posh , thanks for the video 😊😮
So nice of you
I only should believe the air fryer is the answer to all lives questions Haven't used the oven in years

might try this
😊 yes i do them this way great
Wow 🤩. I wasn’t expecting that to work at all! Do you have to pre heat the air fryer?
Not at all
What about a runny egg you have in an egg cup. Have you tried that to how long it takes in an air fryer
I dont have them
Boiled eggs minus the boiling! Looked good but I wonder if you could get a runny (but not undercooked) yolk? It would take a little experimentation, I guess.
Indeed
Great vlog pal 👍
It worked 😊 great tip. Cheers.
Try 190 for six minutes. Slightly more runny yolk. Enjoy😊
Will try
Gonna give it a go.
indeed, his you cannot dip your soldiers in lol
6 eggs or less? I only cook 2 at one time ?? Any help?
Just tried that and my eggs was still hard 😂 I’m going to try 4 minutes next time
Perfekt!👍🙂 Super!
Thanks!
You have the same air fryer as me, I’ll have to try this.
I assume a bit less time and the yolk will be slightly runny.
Of course
Wonder how long for runny egg n solders😊
Trial & error
brilliant mate
Yes it does work.. For a dippy egg with soldiers! It's 7 minutes on 180 degrees. Perfecto 🅰️❌
Darren the only thing missing was a sticking plaster interesting but boiling an egg is quicker you don't need iced water,I prefer a poached egg with my gadget takes 40seconds a smear of butter no egg to peel .
Good old Andy 👍🏼
Darren they say a picture can paint a thousand words your return short but sweet comments can bring a grown man to his knees touché. Lol.
I like to see the egg more done. Maybe a little longer time?
My better half does me a poached egg every morning . She has a plastic bowl with a lid which she puts a tea spoon of water in then cracks the egg in it and cooks for 40 seconds in the microwave .Perfect every time .
As in my previous video

Thanks Allan, and nothing wrong with being old fashioned. 👍🏼🙂
Found this hack a while back I did mine at 150 for 8 mins perfect dippy egg that's on large eggs
Will it do a soft boil egg…🤔
Great vid Darren, the perfect egg! 😋 you’ve done a lot of vids indoors this week but that t-shirts gonna walk out on its own soon haha 😜
Murdered it bud! 😂😂😂
I like mine runny for breakfast to dip my soldiers in!
Room temp eggs
Air fry
170c
7 mins
Perfect!
That's a different thing altogether
You can baked cookies muffins and cakes
I think I'd try placing the eggs on crumpled parchment paper so they would not roll around
Happy to report I tried this with 2 eggs one was perfect the other broke up however found the process easy and will definitely repeat ❤
Great job!
150C 10 minutes got it.. Please help me perfect POACHED EGG with runny YOLK with the Air Fryer? Maybe not
A recent video (as highlighted in this one)
I must admit I like my eggs a bit runny so I can dip my toast soldiers in
Should have done 2 eggs at a time on different timings to see the difference
10 minutes works
@DarrenJohn
But you said you preferred runny eggs and those were hard build so I assume if you done then for maybe 8 minutes they would have been runny
carnt beat a dippy egg with soldier's
Not had them in over 30 years
My tip is to put eggs into boiling water for 4 mins - feck air fryers.
Or put them in boiling water for 6 minutes; 4.5 if you want them jammy...
What a brilliant idea, 2 mins less should be ok for scotch eggs, or the yolk will be on me
That's a revelation - DRY 'boiled' - I was sure you were going to add water - but NO - that's a really tidy way to do them.
Be loads easier and quicker in a pan
Nah, done in a saucepan is better. I like a runny yolk, it’s not difficult.
You can adjust the timings!
No its not difficult, but no mess, no washing up, no standing over the saucepan.
I did one 8 minutes at 150 10 minutes would be better
……..and only four minutes !
not really a boiled egg is it? l would say that is an egg baked in its shell
Wouldn’t it technically be a fried egg?
seems alot of trouble for a boiled egg...I much prefer ordering one at a caff..no washing up,no iced water,no having to carry the eggs from the fridge etc..(so exhausting that).
😂😂😂
Eggs can explode
Correct - as mentioned
One minute less would be better

Great tip Darren. Need to give it a try. Thanks for sharing! 🥰☀️🥰xxx
Hope you enjoy
