Well now I am an ancient wrinkley and to be honest a bit scared and ignorant re modern technology but after a lot of deliberation we purchased a AIRFRYER!,! First I cooked a leg of lamb which turned out beautifully. And then I started watching lots of videos and I saw you cooking a soft boiled egg . I have had major problems cooking soft boiled eggs and to be honest I really did not believe what I was watching. This was 3am. Next morning following your info I had the best egg on toast I have had for ages, thank you both for this brilliant life changer Paddywackerty ❤❤❤
You must view #Butler’s Empire’s recent video of a huge leg of lamb being cooked in their latest airfryer. The machine is massive - you’ll want one, most of us do! Sharon and Martin explain everything so clearly plus they’re usually cooking just for themselves OR for their large family, so there’s something for everyone PLUS there’s lots of fun and laughter too. Amazing food😋😋.
A tip for peeling cooked eggs. Bash it g3ently on a flat side, then roll it a lot until it is like crazy paving. Now when you open it try and get under the membrane. The shell comes off all in one. Just rinse off to clear ny little bits of shell that may have stuck.
After watching your brilliant video on how to cook boiled eggs in your air fryer we have just enjoyed our perfectly cooked eggs for our breakfast! …… you gave us the confidence to give it a go !!! Thank you both so much !
Another great video guys and one I will be trying. Eggs can be horrible to peel but if you crack the egg and put it back into the water for a minute, it makes it much easier to peel. .... Just saying ❤ xx
Hi from Thailand..... I love the music you use..... Takes me back to my childhood in the 80s and watching game shows on the TV... Keep up the good work!
I don't think i have ever achieved a perfect dippy egg, conventionally or air fried. Air fried I have tied numerous times but at 170/180..... Tried your method at 150 deg........ perfect, first time..... Thanks 👏
I love these simplistic videos. I've just got my air fryer, not yet unpacked, because I wanted to learn from you two rather than googling for recipes. I've bought myself a notepad marked 'Butler's recipes' and have already got your fish pie, cream slices and sausage rolls recipes in it. I'll now put the timings and temps for the eggs. Thanks a lot guys, your cooking videos are priceless 😋
Airfryer cooking with Martin and Sharon, is brilliant. I did exactly what you did ,and have my notes,it's amasing how quick you learn airfryer cooking. I don't use my main cooker at all now. Have fun

I gave this a try right after watching the video - I tried 150c for 9 minutes (two eggs as you did) and into water. I'm glad I didn't try to peel the first one, I have an egg topper (lops off the top) and it wasn't just runny it was barely cooked, very runny. Hi guys, I do hard boil eggs in my air fryer on 120c for 15 mins then plunge in cold water they turn out brilliant. Haven’t tried a soft boiled yet, so will try this tomorrow, thank you so much as always. Lots love 😊
Fantastic I went and done 2 hard boiled eggs 🥚 as soon as I saw this. Eggs were lovely but had the same trouble with the shells maybe it’s the process ❤❤

I've been doing the soft boiled for ages , same time as you did , straight in my egg cups and dip in 😊. Also done hard boiled ones same time and made egg mayo for my sarnies. It's a taste sensation !

Hi Martin and Sharon, thanks for this vid. I shall try those temps and to Timings next time. The shells do ‘stick’ more if you air fry the egg. My absolute go to on a boiled egg is Maldon Sea Salt. It’s from Essex and is the best salt going IMO xx
The preheating is extra-faff, certainly. But without it you're actually testing the specific timing for your air fryer alone, as heat-up times would vary greatly across different models. It's set to 150 degrees for 10 minutes, but its actually running a gradient from room temperature to 150 degrees for 10 minutes. Its good to know that it works in principle though. Thanks for the video!
Hi from the midlands.. airfryer eggs are a nightmare to peel but under running water they are a little easier, timings depend on egg size a bit of trial and error, thanks for an interesting experiment.

I was told by my butcher that its harder to peel a really fresh egg than one that is a few days old so that maybe why it was harder for you the eggs you had were really fresh, love the content guys M
Here's a tip for you, put your egg in a glass with a couple of inches of cold water, put your hand over the top of the glass, and shake up and down, the shell comes straight off. You can fo the same using a lidded saucepan if doing a lot of eggs at once. Hope this helps.
The 1st thing I tried when I got my air fryer was boiled eggs I did them on 120c for 15mins as I like mine hard boiled. Like yours they came out perfect. Sometimes when I’m doing them for sandwiches the whites break open like Sharon’s did. I’m going to try your timings next time and save 5mins.

To cook 1 to 12 hard boiled eggs (which should be easy to peel) you can pressure cook them in a Ninja 15 - 1 using the crisper basket or rack and 250ml of water. Pressure cook on high for 4 minutes, select 'Quick Release', then place in iced water for 4 minutes.
Ok, thanks for the times and temps, you would be surprised just how many people forget to give them out, my eggs were excellent, but like Sharon I was struggling with the shell removal, it was touch and go but I overcame, have you any pointers? I tried the putting in the ice water but didn't make any difference, just the eggs were quite cool, so I tried a couple without the cold water, just the same but quite hot, tasted great!

I know what I am going to have for breakfast in the Cosori, brilliant. I have 2 hard boiled eggs every morning and peeling them has been a nightmare, Is it because our eggs are free range and the membrane is stronger?
I have heard that they are difficult to peel when they are made in the air fryer, I don't know if that is true. But if the eggs are new, they are also difficult to peel. I make mine in a pot, eggs in cold water onto the stove and 8 minutes we buy large organic eggs. I've never cooked eggs in my oven either 😉
Great video Guys and just what i was looking for as I recently got a new air fryer (Instant pot votex) and starting the carnivoe diet soon so will be eating a lot more eggs
I wonder if you cook more eggs do you have to increase the time like you would in a microwave?🤔 I don't know as I've never done anything like that in an airfryer. Trial & error I suppose until you find whats right, but a good result either way 👍
Just an idea I wanted to share on how I peel eggs, using a spoon slide it just under the shell where you have taken off a tiny bit and the shell just falls off.
Much easier way to peel an egg, put it under your palm and roll it on a flat surface until it looks like it's shattered, then the membrane will actually help you with peeling.
Omg....it worked people...tonight I had 2 x 9 min boiled eggs 150c Asda v basic air fryer....they were gorgeous. Put in egg cup. Peeled ok...9;mins fridge to table...it's not a taste sensation it's a life revelation.......Thank you both...

Trial & error I suppose until you find whats right, but a good result either way 👍
Could you make mini vegetable frittatas in the air fryer. These look delicious and are a healthy option for breakfast.
What a brilliant idea, ill be trying that for breakfast 🙏🙏
Thanks for trying this and sharing the video
I bought a boiled egg cooker, £8.00 from Asda, perfect eggs every time.
Egg-cellant 😂 you definitely shelled out with this one. 😊 you just can’t help crack a yolk 😂 outstanding as usual 😊
Unbelievable 😂
Just an idea I wanted to share on how I peel eggs, using a spoon slide it just under the shell where you have taken off a tiny bit and the shell just falls off.
Much easier way to peel an egg, put it under your palm and roll it on a flat surface until it looks like it's shattered, then the membrane will actually help you with peeling.
Short vid but what a good one. I love a soft boiled egg with soldiers. I rarely get them right. Were they large eggs?
Yes, large eggs at room temperature
