Unpopular opinion: I know that TDKR isn’t as good as TDK but I like it more because it’s the first film in the trilogy where Batman’s life sucks so much that I’m not annoyed about how broody he is.
I think Rises is better than Begins and if you remove the Joker from Dark Knight it wouldn't be very good. At least with Rises everyone's own story is as interesting as each others
I like a lot of ideas it brings and am happy it's like the one superhero movie with an ending. But there are just a lot parts that just were not entertaining to me.

I don't remember ever thinking that there was too much padding in the 'BvS' Bat-suit ... I just remember seeing the scenes where Affleck's doing all that shirtless Crossfit to get ready to take on Superman and thinking "Holy sh*t, Affleck is JACKED!". Because he was genuinely huge, even without the suit. Also, 'Batman Returns' rules. Love that movie, though I'll concede that it's much more a Tim Burton acid-trip fantasy movie than a Batman movie.
I was in Zia records earlier (which also sells collectibles), and the Batfleck figure actually has shorter arms than every other Batman figure, because his suit was so bulky, that his hands could only drop as low as his waist.
Under the Red Hood, Dark Knight Returns, Gotham Knight, and Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker should have been included. My wife, who when we met didn’t really care for animated media, told me that she likes animated Batman films more than the live action ones so far. We’re looking forward to the new one coming out but even just a year ago she wouldn’t have cared about Batman.
this is a very stupid thing to be annoyed about but it bugs me that the third Burton/Schumacher Batman is called "Batman Forever" and the fourth is "Batman and Robin". Not only is the third one the one that actually introduces Robin, but that's just a great pun they through down the toilet with Batman Forever. How is Batman Forever not the Fourth movie? Batman 4Ever. So easy.
Animated version of live action idea: A Nightmare on Elm Street. It lets story ideas and scenarios lead without having to worry about special effects. Robert Englund could even do the voice work without the physical demands.
I haven't seen Batman Forever in possibly 2 decades so I can't speak to it's quality, but I have seen Batman & Robin more times than the average person and the truth is that movie is just dull and there are multiple interviews with the actors saying they were told not to put much effort in and that it was mainly created to sell toys first. I feel like all the memes and jokes about the Bat Credit card have given that movie a false image of being some colorful silver age masterpiece when it was really just a souless cash grab. If people do want a wacky Batman, there are so many other choices like the '66 show or The Brave and the Bold.

The thing about the Lego Batman movie - which we have in our household on DVD and is one about once every 6 to 8 weeks - is that at a couple of points, both Batman and Bruce Wayne blows a disapproving raspberry when there's something he doesn't like but he knows he has to do and in the last couple of watches my 7yo daughter has picked up on this, so when we say to her something completely reasonable like "it's time for bed" or "can you please help take the dishes to the kitchen" she replies with a "fffrrrrrruuuuupppp". Thanks Lego Batman.

I really liked the new batman movie. I feel like it's story could have been a good comic book, which makes sense, because it is loosely based on the long halloween storyline. I feel like ive finally seen batman from the comics on the big screen. It was a lot of fun and it was refreshing in a world of paint-by-number marvel movies. I love the batman it creates, and how it sets him up for movies to come. Batman loves gotham, despite how hellish it is, and in future movies he will be a protector, not an avenger.

I was surprised to find out no one finished Legion as I got 3 episodes into season 3 and just stopped watching for no apparent reason and I always said I go back to finish it off but still to this day haven't and truthfully have no desire to finish it off.
