I really like the rule of “assume the best not the worst” but I object to “forgive quickly”. You should forgive when you’re ready because the other person has shown you that you’re safe to give them your trust back. Forgiving too quickly doesn’t allow the other person time to change & it doesn’t allow you to heal your wounds. This attitude to interpersonal conflict only breeds resentment when the problem inevitably pops up again because no one has learned anything. Have a good Christmas B 🎄 🤗
I always look forward to your videos! I’m from WV, and have grown up surrounded by conservatism and was raised southern Baptist. Realized around 16 ish that I was starting to have lots of doubts about the Bible, and considered myself an atheist. Now, at 24, I lean more towards agnostic and am starting to question everything again! Love seeing beautiful, open minded Christians like you, it makes me really see the faith in a different light again!
Thank you so much 💛 it’s amazing that you realized so young that you have agency over your own beliefs! Tearing down what you were taught and going on your own journey to find what you truly believe is such a beautiful thing.
A note on the dancing thing -- Dancing wasn't allowed in the church I grew up in and I was from a very conservative home, so we weren't even dancing for fun at home or anything. (Add in shame for doing ANYTHING that could be at all misconstrued as trying to be sexy) So now as an adult I WANT to dance because it always seems fun but I have such a mental and physical block about it! It really bothers me when I'm at weddings and stuff because I want to join in! Anyway all that to say, thank you for not making fun of her dancing -- maybe she's like me and it's a real struggle to put herself out there.

Was the fundie who went private before you could react to their reels Haley Williams? An ex-fundie reaction/critique/snark channel, Jordan and McKay, made a video about her, someone posted about it in on a reddit page (that she stocks) and then she posted a bunch of Instagram stories saying horrible things about Jordan and McKay and went private on her social medias.
Yes it was! I didn’t know about the Jordan and McKay situation- I don’t watch a ton of their content but everything I’ve seen has been pretty fair so I can’t imagine what she would have said about them that was truthful or valid but I’m sure she came up with something ridiculous. 🤦🏻♀️
@@BHaney Yeah, they called her out on her racism, homophobia, and various other types of bigotry she shows and promotes, along with calling her out for calling a flight attendant a "flight servant" and tricking the flight attendant into believing she was wearing a proper mask on a plane when she wasn't. And then Haley had the audacity to call Jordan and McKay bullies for it, and tried to get all of her followers to report them. And Haley also said that Jordan and McKay's master is the devil too. 🙄🤦🏻♀️ And Haley said about them and their video, and I quote; "That tells me I'm exactly where I need to be - pushing my thumb right into their bruise. Right into the place where it agitates them the most.". Like yeah, that's so very Christ-like of you, Haley. 🙄 She was a real jerk about the whole situation basically. 😞😒

He’s a total extrovert in real life so when I started my channel I thought he’d be more than happy to do videos with me…turns out he’s a little camera shy 😂 but I told him about your comment and he said with the right video he might be willing to participate so there’s hope! Lol
Why do they assume atheists are democrats. I’m a democrat and a Christian, then you have Donald trump who isn’t a Christian. They are synonymous
