Asking someone if they’re gay is grooming now? Rolling my eyes into the umpteenth dimension
Right? Seems a like a bit of a stretch.
Hey, I'm still watching the video, but I wanted to make a very quick point about something- adults can be groomed by other adults; it's not exclusive to children. The main thing necessary for grooming to take place is for a power differential to exist between the perpetrator and their target, and while this most commonly exists between adults and children, it can also exist between two adults. Granted, it is more of a UK thing to talk about adult grooming because most of the sources talking about adult grooming are UK-based (CAAGE and Ann Craft Trust specifically) but grooming can and does happen to adults.
Yes absolutely, it's being studied in Aus too, & without specifics a Task Force was set up with the help of some journalists who did incredible work to undercover extensive and horrific grooming and a* of adult women. The Police, thankfully were able to intervene. Peer to Peer Grooming is a big area of criminal studies and investigation and it's incredibly damaging and many people never recover (think cults). I hope @BHaney edits this and/or puts in an edit in the information section. (Edit to add: Muecat has just released an amazing long form vid touching on some of this).

I'd never heard of this guy before, but after listening to him spew out his "message", it made me sick to my stomach. In my opinion, he seems to have so much hatred for so many types of people, and it's frustrating he's representing himself as a voice of the Christian faith. If a white man had spewed out the same thing, he would be labeled a racist. If it's coming out of a black man's mouth, is he also considered a racist? I guess so, and it makes me incredibly sad.

Internalized racism is real, just like internalized sexism or homophobia or other prejudices inflicted upon minority/marginalized groups in such a widespread way that it is difficult for members of those groups to not take in those viewpoints as valid.
That’s part of the insidious nature of white supremacy and toxic masculinity, etc. It is so virulent that it can make people hate themselves so much that they perpetuate the supremacist/misogynistic/homophobic/ableist (and on and on) behaviors. It is sick and sad and frightening and enraging.
Jessie is disgusting. But the expose that these people did on him, is absolutely abhorrent. It has nothing to do with predatory behaviors, and everything to do with blatant homophobia. Disgusting.

Also, adults can be groomed if they are in a vulnerable position and/or the groomer is in a position of power. Groomers who groom and m*lest children ABSOLUTELY can groom their adult parents to get access to them as well. Adults can be groomed. Please research more in that area instead of insinuating that they couldn’t possibly have been groomed because they were adults. JLP has a large platform, so that gives him power. Were these people trying to get access to his platform?

I really don’t like that THIS is what it took for people that associated with Jessie to think he’s not a good person. after every awful, horrific, despicable things he’s said and told others to believe and think. After everything, this is where they drew a line. I honestly just wish Jessie and these people would just go away.

21 Studios seems to take so much glee in this situation, which is highly inappropriate any way you look at it and that immediately makes me suspicious of anything they present. They seem far more interested in the fact that he's a hypocrite than the fact that he has been accused of assaulting people. Also, it seems like they're using "grooming" in a way that means "leading straight men into being gay" rather than how we would usually define it. Either way, all this smells fishy to me.

Jessie is right. A person cannot mature without returning to the father, which symbolizes reason and logic as opposed to feelings and emotions represented by the mother.
The father is also the symbol of the truth, which is what is right and just and comes from a logical mindset not an emotional one.
When you are young you are emotional and have the spirit of the mother in you which is also associatted with a state of dependency and joy of irresponsibility. But as you grow up you are supposed to break the bond with dependency/mother and take on life's responsibilities.
This is the moment when you are supposed to be reborn as a spiritual being (become mature) not indulging in superficial or impulsive pleasures as you did when you were young and emotional.
Failure as an adult creates anger in you directed towards mother(irresponsibility) whi didn't allow you to mature and kept you psychologically in her womb for too long destroying your chances to succeed as an independent adult. the world today is filled with overgrown children who live with their parents or are dependent on them at age 30
This creates an emotional havoc or anger towards mother/dependency which is not healthy. Anger is an emotion and it defines you and does not allow you to use reason and logic. So Jessie correctly proposes to let that anger go by forgiving the mother which is unconsciously directed to..
