- According to i-act, the riders and drivers that failed to stop, or ran away during this operation, were submitted to LTO with a request for action - such as a show-cause order.
Please note, this bus lane operation took place before the new penalties came into effect.

I agree. With the increased penalties you will have a lot more people forcing their way through. In doing so they are endangering the lives of the enforcers. So if they force their way through automatic suspension of license AND vehicle registration for 1 year along with a 50K penalty, renewal of license and registration locked out until the fine is paid.

Can you ask MMDA to apprehend as well bus operators who stick by waiting to gather passengers at Roxas and Pasay stops? Seen it took 1 hour to get past those 2 stations alone

In regards sa revilla-nebrija issue, sana lang hindi parin pinalagpas ni nebrija nung nalaman niya na nandun daw si revilla sa convoy. Pres, VP, senate pres, house speaker, chief justice lang ang pwede na pulitiko sa buslane. Kahit pa siya pinag initan ni revilla and na suspend kung pinanindigan niya yun na hindi makakadaan si revilla eh d clean sana parin pangalan niya sa public. Those are not uneducated anymore. Thos violators are what we called Pasaway and should have their license cancelled.

Yes please comment on this. As much I used to admire Bong Nebrija on how I thought he was fair to everyone, coming from his mouth, he allowed said convoy touse the bus way just because it was a certain convicted senator.

Once you are apprehended for an obvious offense you should immediately hand over your license once the apprehending officer has explained your violation. Any tricks these violators would pull such as claiming their license is already confiscated but later turns out they do have it with them should warrant a higher penalty. Let try not to trick our officers who are just doing their jobs. And again, they should also penalize companies that these violators are working under companies using company vehicles in order to get full cooperation that they too will hold their staff accountable and have them follow the laws of the road.
:Law breakers should be fined 25k for First infraction and 35K Pesos for the 2nd infraction. 3 months suspension after the third. Should be enough for them to start following the law.
Imagine despite the increase they are still not following... that is why, for such people, the fine is still too low... dapat straight 10k with 6 months license suspension... if they do it again after that then license should be cancelled and they can re-apply after 3 years.

doesnt matter how much the fine, they have no intention of paying it so they dont care, they gotta really think of something harsh for these violators
@@21Luft This is because the govt wants to show the public that they are making an effort... which in reality, they do not make an effort talaga. Actually, this is the fault of police... kasi if only from the very beginning they catch violators, then they will not be used to not following simple rules. Police allows motorcycles to counter flow, swerve, not maintain safe distance, stop on pedestrian when there is a stop light... they allow it... so this is why there is lack of respect for the law kasi they do not enforce it. They do it lang when the problems becomes so bad na... so when someone makes a video of it and it goes viral... that is the only time they will start doing something about it.

Fine is still too low, first offense should now be 15K, license suspended for a year and vehicle impounded.

What I experience here when I drive if no barriers, I can mistakenly go to the bus way because for example your a new driver crossing to the EDSa, don't know the situation now since I'm not always driving at Edsa
Yan naging problema sa edsa. Masyado kasi na spoiled ang private vehicles. Binigyan nyo ng priority over public buses na mas madami nakikinabang.

it's not marked as yellow lane plus the signs above (northbound side) say "Ayala" so it's definitely not a bus lane.

Para matapos yang problema sa pagpasok ng mga private vehicle sa bus line, pwede naman doon mag operate ang mga enforcer kung saang lugar na pwede pumasok ang mga private vehicle. Prevention is better than huge fine.

Nadaan na rin ako dito sa bus lane nung papunta akong NAIA. Sa Ayala tunnel ata ito tapos akyat pa-NAIA. Waze kasi sabi diretso, may barriers naman nakita ko tapos sabi ko parang bus lane, nabasa ko na sa bandang gitna na bus lane nga. Wala namang bus lane sa unahan. Nagtaka na lang ako though nung mga next time alam ko na na huwag mag-tunnel. Mas maganda diretso na lang sa service road. Sa tunnel tapos right turn agad, good luck if pagbigyan ka ng mga cars lalo na trapik.

Unfortunately, it is innate in some of us that a sign is just a sign and it is nothing more than a challenge to break and not to adhere to --- unless there is enforcers visible of course.
