I am not sure I see the point of a non functioning replica when you can get a fully functioning reproduction for just a few hundred bucks ($300 to $500) depending on the model.
not to question you or anything man but the kid was said to have used a Colt Thunderer 41 caliber double action revolver. And the plack says 5.000.00 grand. A revolver costed about 25 dollars at the time. That was what a sheriffs sallery was at and 5.000.00. is ALOT for that time :P
He used multiple weapons, he killed around 21 people and did not stick to a single gun his whole life. And if you read that plaque, that is a replica of a Dead or Alive poster, the $5,000 is not for the gun, it's for the person who kills Billy the Kid
SnakeDoctorSilver He only killed about 4 people for sure and maybe 9 at the most. 21 was a legend, which is what a lot his life is made up of.There were also never any posters for him when he was alive. Do your history before you run your mouth,
La La La LA I'm sorry, I forgot you are the historian on the events of all things Billy The Kid because you were there...either that or you read it on wikipedia, now what I would like to tell you is to CALM DOWN, CALM DOWN, DON'T GET A BIG DID MR. La La La LA
SnakeDoctorSilver Actually I got my information from books I read and also other historians that know a lot more than you do. He might not of even been 21 years old when he was killed. The legend of the 21 men is one for every year of his life. I suggest you go and do some research. He did NOT kill nowhere near 21 men. And there wasn't a poster.
Yes but you dont know, no matter how many books your faggity-ass reads. You can act like you were there but you dont know, go read the Bible, believe everything you read fuck nut
This is a M1873 Peacemaker Replica and it is well made, but you must remember these are non-firing replicas and are not meant to withstand heavy use of the mechanical parts. If you take good care of it though, it should last a good while.
I was in Ho Chi Minh City, Viet Nam recently and saw a similiar functional revolver for only ten bucks (US dollars) @ a blackmarket vender...You can find almost anything back in Southest Asia---Even Jimmy Hoffa's remains!!!
Q: a. slap leather. b. draw , c. pull hammer . d. fire. How long would it have taken to get any kind of speed , I can buy these in hastings behind you? (Sir christopher lee) in a live interview once said most couldn't hit a barn door from two feet (words to that effect). What , I suppose he meant what with all the smoke??? note shop in hastings (uk) sell these western guns ,belts etc and I am DYING (pardon the pun ) to find out.
It's a replica. I don't think it is capable of shooting anything. Uberti & others make fully functioning reproductions & you can buy bullets off the shelf for them or just cast & load your own. They are very popular for cowboy action shooting out here in New Mexico. I feel your pain living in the Netherlands but here in NM there are many places to buy an exact reproductions & ammunition. There are even quite a few real ones floating around but they are big $
Yes, the hammer, trigger and cylinder are all functional.

It is my understanding that Billy the Kid's favourite pistols wasn't the Peacemaker, but actually the Thunderer!...
Yes, there is a loading gate that opens to load dummy bullets.
