for those who couldn't get this done. LOOK CLOSE. He hits the start button and then after 3 sec. he hits the Stop button for the first FOB. KEY FACTOR. Don't let the 1st fob run through the engine check list. Only on the second FOB, then it will finally show the factor code. What a huge PITA this was. But one would think your dealer would review this with you after purchasing an 80K vehicle. procedure recap from video: > Hit Start button, count 1-2-3 then Stop Button. >As stated.. quickly insert Next key, hit start button then let it go through the "whole check list". Factory Number comes up after about 4 secs and stays up for about 8 secs. Enjoy your truck. BTW it took me 6 times before I looked at the video really close. A little detail that maybe could have been mentioned. But great How to video for sure.
Hi Tim, this was a very interesting and helpful video, thanks for sharing! Also I have a 2024 Platinum Plus on order, have received a VIN # and "in production" from Ford, I think the new tailgate is why it is not being finished. Do you have any information when the new tailgate trucks will start arriving. I'm not very optimistic on a delivery date here in KC and again I find your video's very helpful, keep them coming!
Excellent! I tried this before from another video and couldn't get it to work. I think the 'key' was taking the keyrings off and putting the keys in large end first.
It works if you do it within 3 seconds. Put fob in, turn on for 3 seconds, turn off switch fob and turn on and wait. Should take 6-7 seconds total. You're welcome!
My 2024 STX has no information found when doing a 'keypad' search in the owners manual. Is there another way of getting the factory door code on a vehicle where there is no keypad .I'd like to add the accessory keypad.
How do you get the second number to work if there is 1/2 then 3/4? It’s not letting me set my own code. I got the factory code but I’m having a heck of a time setting my own code on the screen?

Great post! Got my truck yesterday and wanted to change my code first thing. Book was zero help so your video solved my problem first attempt!
Thank you, Long-McArthur! Just drove home in my 2024 Lariat! Outstanding!
I watched your video and programed my truck the first try. Thanks for your help!
Thank you! The perfect demonstration on how to get the code in a video 👏

I think every F150 built from here it will have the Pro Access Tailgate for the Platinum. Check your Window sticker for Job 2.
Great and to the point video. Thank you!
Thanks! Your directions are much better than those in the manual. (2024 F350 Lariat)
Outstanding, thank you.
excellent tutorial! Thank you for the info and I have subscribed !
Thank you! Very helpful since the card from the factory leaves out some important details.
You made it easy, thanks!

Serious pain in the a$$. A card was insanely easier.
I just got done saying that! LOL
You’re telling me. Ford now makes dealers pull the code and charge shop rate to do it.
What about a column shift model? Where do I put my smart keys?

You can use the same button twice in a row.
FYI...it worked for me with the fob inserted chrome side up. I didn't want to take my key ring off.
Mine got an old school key and the 40/20/40 front seats. No fob holder in the cup holder. I guess it’s up to the dealership for me.
@@markchatman9583 i assume you use the same process by turning the key to accessory instead of putting it in the console.

Is this a nuclear sub ? Just set it all through the app lmao 😂
What if I only have one key

Anyone have trouble getting the code? I've tried this like 5 times and nothing comes up.
I did have to do it several times until I figured out to do it quick, under 30 seconds.
Still wont work with both keyfobs..2024 f150
