kyle even said 'i always wondered what you were thinking about in that moment' - she was actually thinking of him... pretty beautiful little detail that you dont usually see the first time through
One thing a lot of folks miss the first time watching is when Kyle tells her about the picture, and says he always wondered what she was thinking at that moment. Then at the end, we learn she was thinking about him. :) Always loved that. Great reaction.
Another thing I wonder if people catch on to, is when Kyle is being interrogated in the police station and he goes on saying "He will wade through you" just how prophetic those words ment. Because the terminator literally waded through the cops like they were just a shallow river. Nothing in that building could stop him Which just exemplifies the terrifying truth that behind all that flesh hair and blood, is a literal metal killing machine.
Yeah, my brother likes Aliens better than Alien and Terminator 2 better than Terminator. I disagree. I think the original is better for those two, but sometimes the sequel is better than the first one. 20) Star Wars: the Empire Strikes Back (1980) 21) Star Wars: a New Hope (1977) 41) Superman II (1980) 71) Alien (1979) 108) Star Trek II: the Wrath of Khan (1982) 124) Aliens (1986) 145) Diary of a Wimpy Kid 2: Dog Days (2012) 147) Diary of a Wimpy Kid (2010) 167) Ant Man and the Wasp (2018) 186) Spiderman: Far from Home (2019) 192) Spiderman: Homecoming (2017) 201) Terminator (1984) 220) A Shot in the Dark: Pink Panther II (1964) 273) The Pink Panther (1963)
@@ReligionOfSacrifice, I prefer A New Hope to Empire Strikes Back for a couple of reasons. The main reason is, Empire had a great opening but a dull, almost motionless middle & an exciting end. A New Hope never dipped & was on the go from the opening & had a great conclusion. Those two are the ONLY two perfect Star Wars films though, Revenge is in at 3rd & it's damn close to perfect! The other 4 are good, just not as good. Not including the recent 3 chapters. Not even going to try.............. I also prefer Terminator & Alien to their sequels, although Alien & Aliens are damn close!
@@GGGritzer, I disagree. The beginning and end of "Empire Strikes Back" are great, but there is some amazing worlds being shown throughout the whole movie and the actors are already introduced and are having at it with their relationships and interactions and I think was worth all of it. Now the 3rd movie would have been good, but it wasn't. It was no where as good as the ending of the original triology. It could have been better if Yoda holding back to see who was the master sith suddenly realizes he has to step in and attack the Emperor to save the universe and they fight which we all were waiting for, but then Jar Jar Binks fights dunken master style with Yoda and when Yoda kills him the lightening goes into the Emperor who is flying away to see Anakin and Yoda suddenly doesn't feel the need to worry about the Empire as Darth Vader will bring balance to the force. Anakin does with Leia as the meddler in politics and Luke as the Jedi trainer. Then we would know why the lightening approached Darth Vader and then went down the tunnel to the Emperor's dead body. Anakin was not going to be an empty vessel willing to take on possession of the dark force.
@@ReligionOfSacrifice, I loved the first 2 & always will but I prefer ANH a little bit. ROTJ could have been so much better. Kahn's novel is a bit darker & even a bit better scripted. ROTS however I really enjoyed, bar a few dialogue gaffes. Also, a lot of stuff that was cut out should be restored...
Always nice to see people react to this classic. As much as I love the second one, there is a unique noir aspect to this movie that was not successfully replicated in the sequels.
As much as I like the second, it dies introduce some pretty major plot holes into the lore that the series never really manages to fix and just glosses over instead.
A low-budget film with the heart of an upcoming director that's got something to prove. You just can't get that from a big-budget sequel. Different vibe altogether.
I'm with you. As great as T2 is as a sequel (one of the best sequels ever IMO) and as a big budget action movie, I like the first one a little more too. The darker, grittier early 80s atmosphere is just more my thing.
You spotted my favorite part, how Kyle fell in love with Sarah while looking at a picture of Sarah taken when she was thinking about how much she loved Kyle.
The same storyline was used in the movie "Somewhere In Time". A man falls in love with a woman by looking at a picture of her. When he goes back in time, he finds out she was looking at him and smiling when the portrait was taken.
@@cjpolett2055 personally I really liked the most recent one, Dark Fate, I felt it's the only of the many sequels that actually did something original with it post-T2. but apparently I'm alone in that.
@@scalefree Couple months? What’s wrong with you man? It should be watched SAME DAY. There are a lot of similarities that James Cameron has put in both movies and you don’t want to forget them by taking too much time in between T1 and T2. If not same day then next day. Also only watch the Theatrical version and not the special extended version.
It can't really be overstated how influential that dream sequence of Kyle's is in 80s culture. EVERYBODY was doing that machine war angle in sci fi and video games afterwards.
@metalmugen well salvation wasn’t supposed to be the future war yet it was just supposed to be early on John wasn’t supposed to be in it till the end but the studio wanted bale in the film so they forced them to rewrite him into the whole thing
And the skull-crushing sound FX in all the future scenes? Pistachio nuts. Because apparently they sound more convincing in audio than real skulls. Um, I mean more obtainable. Um. Whatever. 😮
My suggestion is, when you watch Terminator 2, watch the "Special Edition" version. That's the only extended edition officially approved by James Cameron. And it has the theatrical ending which is the best ending.
I grew up with the theatrical version so I think that’s the best (must) version everybody should watch. But you’re right, if they can get manage to watch the special edition with the theatrical ending then it’s the best of both worlds.
I love watching you see all these movies from my youth. I like seeing your reaction to the plot, the writing and the site guise of the 80s. Great work creating this platfor.
@@Glaaki13 Not really. Very few people say that number 1 was better than 2. Personal preference, but the vast majority agree that the sequel was better. The sequels after that were not good. Or not as good.
@@haystackbill6187 Big lull period in the second one from the hospital escape to the Cyberdyne sequence. T1 was more pedal to the metal. Once the bar scene happens, its an action thriller to the end of the film. T2 might (or might not) have a better script but the T1 script is leaner with all the fat trimmed off.
@@JSSTyger I mean if you're just into action flicks then sure. If you're more into worldbuilding and less rushed story progression and such then T2 is clearly better. Not to mention Sarah Connor is a better character in it.
I just found your channel today with the Good Will Hunting reaction and watched the other two as well. I used to manage another reaction channel and have spent quite a bit of time watching others, and I can say that you have a very good start here. I like how you're picking the movies so far. When you start with the Top 250, the odds of a bad movie are pretty low. I really like how you do a rough edit and then come back to finish the conclusion. So many comments talk about things they think you missed and very few realize the insane amount of time you have to spend cutting down the reaction for the YT edit. So coming back with new thoughts after that process is a great thing that most other channels do not have. Your edits are also very tight. You're not leaving scenes in that don't advance the plot or where your reaction isn't interesting.
@@Whimsory Since you're into shows so much, you might want to binge the TV show, "Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles". And skip all of the other films after T2.
I can't begin to describe how much I miss the 80's. If a time portal opened up right now I would jump through without hesitation and never look back. I miss the colors, the music, the fashion, the sense of optimism. 2023 sucks.
Being born in '87 myself, I don't really have the direct personal nostalgia for the 80s, but I love the decade enough from my experience over the course of my life that I'd follow you through without question. The fact that we'd eventually get into the 90s (my personal vote for the peak of humanity) is also a great motivator.
oh the optimism... the cold war was over, we worked together on the ozone hole, we saw the climate challenge and we looked like we were starting to take it seriously... that exciting new internet computer thing was a wild new frontier and creativity was at it's peak, especially in cinema and music. I prefer to think of it as an alternate timeline. There is no way it can have gone off the rails this bad... maybe a paralell universe that's just so lame its more like satire? @whimsory a great fresh reaction, I look forward to watching as you go through your list! Also, no judgment, but how is it possible anyone could have watched 3 Arnie movies and not one of them a role that earned him his fame lol. Buckle up, cause it's a fun ride... a choppa ride! Yep.. True Lies and Total Recall are a must... Conan the Barbarian if fur clothed oiled mounds of muscle along with swords and sorcery is your thing
Your funny and quirky and you make me smile, the only downside so far to finding your channel is there is only one other movie to watch lol. And your, "I'll be back" at the end was pretty good considering your not a middle aged Austrian man lmao.
Terminator lost his eyebrows when he jumped through the fire when he was chasing them out of the nightclub. They were singed off, along with some of his hair.
Whimsory, this is your second video that I watched; I just discovered you about an hour ago with your Monty Python and the Holy Grail video, and I subscribed right away. 😁 You are fun and sweet and interactive, and I think part of your charm is your "squirrel brain." I'm glad you watched this sci-fi thriller classic, and if you haven't watched it yet, I strongly recommend Terminator 2; it's one of those rare instances where the sequel is definitely better than the original. For another great Arnold movie, I highly recommend True Lies, a spy thriller/comedy that also stars the amazing Jamie Lee Curtis. Oh, and one other thing: I don't think you have to worry about anyone judging you for not wanting to watch a guy stick an exacto knife into his eye. 😁 I'm off to watch more of your videos!
You don’t talk too much or too fast for this. I love your summaries. Been binge watching your videos thru Christmas. I’ve watched a lot of reaction channels this year,…maybe too many. I am so impressed with yours. Your editing is perfect, I love your enthusiasm and that you get so many cultural references of my generation. Boombox, Mr. Rodgers, Black Sabbath’s Iron Man. So many, I am losing track. Also great that you go in blind, but you rewatch and research and touch on so many key things a lot of us were hoping you would notice. All of the above makes it rewarding watching with you. Oh, the wholesome nature is great too!! And so many good movie choices. I could go on.
The sequel gets so much attention that I feel this movie gets overlooked. This is my favorite of the franchise and one of my favorite movies of the whole decade. It was made for less than $7 million (that wouldn’t even cover the catering on a modern big action film), and nobody thought it was going to have the impact it did. Michael Biehn in particular solidified himself as one of my favorite actors because of this performance. Obviously you need to check out T2, but there are some other Cameron 80s films you should look into as well. The Abyss is an underrated classic, and Aliens is amazing (though you need to watch Alien before you see that one). I’m liking your reactions so far, this is the first time I’ve caught a reaction channel right at the beginning of their career. Hope you keep it up!
What a coincidence! I was literally just checking to see if you posted anything today and just as I was leaving you posted this! It's a classic and Terminator 2 is one of my top 10 favorite films of all time!
@@Whimsory the special effects were bad for the time. When it was released people were like 'WTF, it looks kinda bad'. 40 years later that doesn't matter.

That terminator that shoots those guns in the future is Arnold's friend and former IFBB Mr. Olympia Franco Columbu. Oh he also plays a small part in another of Arnold films Conan the Barbarian. He plays the scout in the beginning.
Cool reaction. Since you asked so many times why the Terminator doesn't have eyebrows : he had at first. But when Reese blew-up the car just when he and Sarah were leaving the dance-club, The Terminators was caught in the explosion and the eyebrows were burned. I strongly recommend you watch the sequel, Terminator 2 - Judgement Day, it's even better : more character development, better story, much better effects (actually when it came out in 1991, Terminator 2 had revolutionary effects, the very beginning of movie CGI). T2 is an all-time classic, IMHO it's the best action movie ever made
Yes, he is wearing little foam latex eyebrow blockers right after his face gets burned. It’s a very subtle stage of damage, before his face starts getting ripped up.
I like that James decided to be very realistic with it. But it makes him look so weird and off putting. If he would have left the eyebrows I doubt anyone would have thought anything of it.
@@Kanglar Even with Fury Road, T2 remain on top. Yes, Fury Road has great actrion sequences but T2 has something Fury Road doesn't have and very few action movies have : a message, a question. T2 asks us what makes us different from machines.
The Terminator getting his eyebrows burned off from the fire 🔥 explosion just prior to punching 👊 through the windshield to grab Sarah Connor was a brilliant move on the makeup department. Having no eyebrows gives Arnold an eerie look. Like he's not quite human. Like an unstoppable Frankenstein monster vibe. -OG
Hehe this was such a fun reaction with the voices and how expressive you are. Such an enjoyable watch. Just found the channel but it looks like you have a great journey through cinema before you and I'm glad I can come along for the ride :)
Thank you so much for letting me experience this with you! You have a fun personality and it was a joy seeing this through your eyes. I look forward to watching the sequel with you.
The other thing about the photograph is Rees said "You looked a little sad, I always wondered what you were thinking about" and she was thinking about him.
What is so sad is that when Kyle Reese told Sarah about the picture, he mentioned how sad Sarah looked. He said he used to always wonder what she was thinking about. Kyle had no idea that Sarah was thinking about him. 😢
Love the reaction. And yeah, one of the things with a fully analog phone system was that your phone call occupied one line. The system would route the call automatically, but in order for an office to have two phones with their own separate number, you needed to pay for two physical phone lines. That changed around the decade when we started getting dialup modems in every home: you didn't want that 45 minute download ruined because your dad lifted the phone somewhere else in the house. What I like about this movie is that the terminator is a machine. It doesn't get angry. It's not upset. It only follows its directive, and is perfectly OK with leaving people alive if that is more expedient. Oh, and the movie making is impressive indeed considering it was a low budget movie at the time (whike the sequel was one of the most expensive movies ever).
16:16 It is weird. Lieutenant Traxler has a relatively small role in the movie, but a LOT of people get upset when he specifically gets killed, saying "I liked that guy".
Another one of my favourite films Excluding Genesis and Dark Fate, The Terminator timeline is a causal loop. Meaning the War is always inevitable and John will always send Kyle to ensure his existence that’s why he picked no one else when they volunteered.
This is a very good chanel. You put a lot of work into your "reviews". And its realy interesting to see, and hear, how you, as a young person, experience this old classics. Great work. and of course: Im an instant subscriber!
It was so much fun finding someone who legitimately didn't know much about this movie. Other reactors have seen so many memes or other social media about movies that it seems like they've seen the movie. That was not the case with your reaction. If you're like this with all the other movies, I'm going to be coming back over and over. I really enjoyed your reaction. :)
Your fast talking is great... Ps. Have you seen FireFly, and then Serenity? It's got the best of both worlds, tv..then movie, . And it's sci-fi. Sooo great✌️
You gotta love this stuff. Closed timelike curves, causality loops, multiverse theory....time travel's a mind-bender because if you really think about it, you're not changing history at all, but you're creating a whole new timeline from the moment you arrive in the past, branching off from the prime timeline, which is the underlying premise of the Terminator series.
"I'll be back" is technically a Terminator 2 reference. But also it shows that the machines are smart enough to use conjunctions in their words. I.e. "I'll, we'll, we're."
I'm glad you are watching some movies, when that epic scene unfolded with the terminator zeroing in on Sarah in the nightclub as Reece moved to intercept and you blurted out "Sarah Connor is a goner" I lost it, hope you have some more coming out soon
Excellent reaction. These kinds of reactions with people who aren't really into watching movies as their main form of entertainment are the best. I see that this channel is starting with the reactions so I'll be watching for future ones.
Don't be ashamed of where you know Arnie from, those you listed are all bangers. "What killed the Dinosaurs? ...The ice age!" killer line, peak cinema.
Someone might've said this already but his eyebrows got singed when he walked through the fire after Kyle blew up that car. Also remember Kyle said he wondered what Sarah was thinking about in the photo. As it turned out, she was thinking about him.
It's really cool to watch you dive into these older movies, so I really hope you continue. I understand what you mean about preferring the long medium of television, which allows more time for characters to breathe and stories to develop. But plenty of the movies on this list have both. Some are masterpieces. My personal favorites are Apocalypse Now, Blade Runner, and Out of Africa.
That's why I liked the sarah connor chronicles. I disliked some things it has in common with the sequels but because of the episodic nature it had time to develop characters and it's probably the best terminator sequel
One of my all-time favorites. Saw it in the theater when I was 16, and it's fun to see people from a new generation getting to experience it for the first time. Glad you enjoyed it too.
This one is still my favorite! I know the second is amazing! But this one was more story focused! The special effects are old but remember, this movie was low budget! I always admired how they handled the Terminator puppet to make it as realistic as possible! And all team worked very hard to make this gold sci-fi movie!
I hope you keep doing more reactions! This was great. I also love that you went back over things during editing before giving your final thoughts. That allowed you to catch some details you had missed before. There are SO many movies I'd love to see your reactions to. And don't be afraid to react to movies that a lot of other channels have reacted to: they're popular for very good reasons! ;)
Beautiful reaction :) It is a film with a very well-closed script. When Reese tells Sarah that he had a picture of her (the picture the boy makes at the end at the gas station) and wonders what she was thinking... Sarah was thinking about him. It is perfect. Beautiful.
Great reaction! I hope you keep doing these classics! "Holy Grail" was fun too! I see you are HUGE on TikTok, are you going to keep doing those? Maybe move some of those here as "shorts"? You are a gifted creator and I will keep watching.👍👍😉

I have a suggestion for your channel if you dont mind: Try to mix movies from your list of the greatest ones, with those kind of movies that are considered “hidden gems”. Movies that are great but for some reason were forgotten in time. Believe me, there are many of them, and watching those will give a plus to your channel, because you wont fit in the group of youtubers that react to the same movies every time, like they were agreed to do it. Just watch whatever you want in the moment without paying attention to what others youtubers watch every month. Outliners are always appretiated. 😊
I absolutely loved your reaction. Your facial expressions and commentary had me laughing my ass off, my god I haven't laughed so much and so hard in years. Had such fun re-watching this classic with you. Hope you keep em coming cuz I look forward to watching more movies with you, and you were just so so adorable. I truly had a blast, kudos to you for that.
Imagine you would have seen this movie back in the days as a teen (38 years ago). Me and my buddys was walking was walking like The terminator for weeks repeating "I'll be back". Still a good movie after all this years. Great fun.
It's great to see someone react to these movies who goes in knowing no more than we did when we saw them in the theaters. I almost feel like I'm watching it again for the first time. You have to watch Terminator 2 now. It's one of the few sequels that's even better than the original. Other Arnold movies yo might want to check out are True Lies, Eraser, and Last Action Hero. If you're using the imdb list of best movies, at some point you have to watch #1, The Shawshank Redemption. It's one of the best movies ever made.
I know you’ll probably watch Terminator two now, but you do need to know that there are many people who considers to be one of those series where the sequel is as good or better than the original so if you can imagine a movie that was super see this you’ll understand how good the second one is
Choosing between 1 or 2 is difficult. 2 was a broad-appeal summer blockbuster action movie, whereas 1 was a low budget horror B-movie. I personally prefer 1 but won't argue somebody on it, haha.
It's kind of funny that Cameron has done the "sequel is as good or better than the original" twice, with T2 and Aliens (possibly a third time with Avatar, but I haven't seen the new one so I can't speak on that one). Not saying one or the other is better, just that it's weird that happened twice (possibly thrice) from the same director no less when the general rule of thumb is that the sequels are worse.
I love your reaction to this movie, it really brought me back to the first time i saw it as a kid in the theaters. It wasn't a big budget film but the poster looked so good that my older brother took me to see it. I vividly remember having to walk home afterwards at night because we'd spent our bus money on arcade games. We got stuck in a downpour with lightning flashing and stopped under an overpass to wait it out. We dissected the movie and the ramifications/aftermath and even hypothesised what eventually became the plot of the second movie. Great memory of my childhood.
One thing people tend to neglect to mention when talking about the Terminator movies is that aside from sci-fi action movies, they're also monster movies. The Terminator is a nigh-unstoppable force of destruction that leaves swathes of death in its wake and that no one can afford to ignore. The first Terminator movie does this best in my opinion, even if T2 might be a better film overall. There's nothing quite like the factory ending, seeing that metal skeleton rise out of the fire and slowly pursue its prey, unmoved by everything including the loss of half its body. Truly a terrifying spectacle. On another note, I'm glad you're diving into movies. I love television too, but there's something about the movies that has always been extra special to me. While it's true that longform storytelling is harder, many, many films can be just as rich as great TV, with nuanced, evocative storytelling that stays with you. Some of my favorite movies that I think would be worth checking out that may not be as common suggestions: Amadeus (1984, historical fiction- NOT a biopic- about Mozart and Salieri, with naturally phenomenal music); Double Indemnity (1944, classic noir with brilliant dialogue and perhaps the most archetypal femme fatale in film); The Lion in Winter (1968, historical fiction play adaptation with absolutely brilliant acting from one of the strongest ensembles you'll ever see); Dr. Strangelove (1964, dark comedy about the absurd politics of nuclear war and also Peter Sellers playing three people); Pan's Labyrinth (2006, Spanish language dark fairy tale set during the Spanish Civil War); Mel Brook's three best comedies The Producers (1967), Blazing Saddles (1974- maybe watch this on your own time and don't react to it, and read up on the history of the movie to understand the context behind it), and Young Frankenstein (1974), all hilariously witty; Network (1976, prescient story about showbiz and capitalism with one of the best screenplays ever and ANOTHER of the best acting ensembles you'll ever see); Once Upon a Time in the West (1968, melancholy spaghetti western about the demise of the Old West as the frontier is captured by industry, and one of the most chilling villain performances you'll see from classic good guy actor Henry Fonda)... and many more. This however is the primer I give to everyone who wants a crash course in the greatest cinema of all time, just to touch the base foundations: The Godfather Part I, Seven Samurai, Citizen Kane, Psycho, 2001: A Space Odyssey, Star Wars 1977, Bambi (any of the first few Disney movies work, but I think this is the best of them, along with Fantasia, which is a more abstract watch), The Wizard of Oz. Those eight movies encompass a very wide range of cinema history and are all hugely influential in their own right, and they all hold up incredibly well.
Agreed. The sequels and surrounding material always felt a little to interested in the 'face' of the Terminator. The original on the other hand has a bit of a 'Monster Movie' vibe. By the end of the film it's just a metal skeleton... exactly as dangerous as before but more terrifying (you know like... for the time) and I sort of wish the sequels could recapture that instead of just always going for the big action set piece of Arnold vs some other human looking terminator or other.
I think you will do just fine as a reactor. You will become a little less nervous with time, although it is so cute to see you watching and thinking and talking all at the same time. This movie changed the game for action movies. And then, we had to wait for years before T2, but it was worth it. My favorite Arnold movie is 'True Lies', although it can't compare to 'Kindergarten Cop'. Oh, by the way, we ARE judging you... and the verdict is .... subscribed.

The same storyline was used in the movie "Somewhere In Time". A man falls in love with a woman by looking at a picture of her. When he goes back in time, he finds out she was looking at him and smiling when the portrait was taken.
“We loved a lifetimes worth”
Now you have to watch Terminator 2.
Don’t worry Whimsory, you’re not locking yourself into the set of 6 movies and a TV show. T1 and T2 are a necessary pairing, and then you’re done.
..and then stop, because they didn't make any more after that.
@@cjpolett2055 personally I really liked the most recent one, Dark Fate, I felt it's the only of the many sequels that actually did something original with it post-T2. but apparently I'm alone in that.
It's actually a legal requirement. You watch Terminator, you must watch T2 within a couple months.
If only Terminator Salvation actually replicated it instead of going for the BROWN look that is nothing like that war should look like.
@@metalmugen BIG Facts.
@metalmugen well salvation wasn’t supposed to be the future war yet it was just supposed to be early on John wasn’t supposed to be in it till the end but the studio wanted bale in the film so they forced them to rewrite him into the whole thing
@@jimbowlan5804 And it was a mistake.
I liked the extra scenes besides the ending. I hated that ending
@@micperez819 The SE has the theatrical ending, not the original longer ending that test audiences hated, that is called the Skynet Edition.
As long as it's not the one with Linda Hamilton in 'old' make-up. That one is cheesy.
I grew up with the theatrical version so I think that’s the best (must) version everybody should watch. But you’re right, if they can get manage to watch the special edition with the theatrical ending then it’s the best of both worlds.
@@Jpew2007 Special Edition has the theatrical ending. Other long versions add the "old Sarah" ending.
I love watching you see all these movies from my youth. I like seeing your reaction to the plot, the writing and the site guise of the 80s. Great work creating this platfor.
The Terminator rising from the fire is one of the most iconic moments in cinema as far as I'm concerned. It's burned into my brain.
interesting as it was that image, which James Cameron saw in a dream/nightmare while in Rome, that made him come up with the story and the film.
Mines the "hand" death scene from T2.
Nice job with this. Don't focus too much on "getting better." Just keep your reactions honest and genuine. Viewers will come.
One of the best films of that decade. The sequel to this is even better.
Well we can debate that lol
@@Glaaki13 Nah. Second was 100% better. Better writing, better more natural interaction between characters, etc.
@@Glaaki13
Not really.
WOW. Thank you so much for this. Very knowledgeable and encouraging! I appreciate you😊
@@Whimsory Since you're into shows so much, you might want to binge the TV show, "Terminator: the Sarah Connor Chronicles".
Conan the Barbarian if fur clothed oiled mounds of muscle along with swords and sorcery is your thing
you're goddamn right about that.
2023 does suck. But at least KANE LIVES IN DEATH.
go cry Moorman because time has f****** beat you down
Your funny and quirky and you make me smile, the only downside so far to finding your channel is there is only one other movie to watch lol.
And your, "I'll be back" at the end was pretty good considering your not a middle aged Austrian man lmao.
Terminator lost his eyebrows when he jumped through the fire when he was chasing them out of the nightclub. They were singed off, along with some of his hair.
Funny my fav part is in the gun shop when he asks for a plasma cannon, in the 1980s lol.
Whimsory, this is your second video that I watched; I just discovered you about an hour ago with your Monty Python and the Holy Grail video, and I subscribed right away. 😁 You are fun and sweet and interactive, and I think part of your charm is your "squirrel brain."
I'm glad you watched this sci-fi thriller classic, and if you haven't watched it yet, I strongly recommend Terminator 2; it's one of those rare instances where the sequel is definitely better than the original. 😁
I'm off to watch more of your videos!
hands down this best reaction to this movie
I wish all reactors would do what you just did with the rough edit and rewatch before the outro/review. Nice job. Thank you.
Always love discovering new YT reviewers. Love your reactions so far. Keep it up :)
Your reactions are always a blast. You're much better at than you think you are!
I like when you said "I´ll be back" at the end :)
Nice reaction. Keep going, you're doing great. Yes, he had eyebrows. They burned off in fire from the car explosion when Reese shot the gas tank.
give my word that I will not judge you and always look forward to many of these videos on movies .
What a coincidence! I was literally just checking to see if you posted anything today and just as I was leaving you posted this! It's a classic and Terminator 2 is one of my top 10 favorite films of all time!
Aww thank you so much!! I appreciate ya😁
@@Whimsory the special effects were bad for the time. When it was released people were like 'WTF, it looks kinda bad'. 40 years later that doesn't matter.
new to the channel but I really like your energy and enjoy your reactions I know you are only going to get better and better with practice and am looking forward to seeing your grow keep it up :)
great reaction....i think you will be a massive youtube star...good luck
One of the punks in the beginning was played by Bill Paxton. The only actor to be killed by a Terminator, an Alien, and a Predator.
That terminator that shoots those guns in the future is Arnold's friend and former IFBB Mr. Olympia Franco Columbu.
Oh he also plays a small part in another of Arnold films Conan the Barbarian.
He plays the scout in the beginning.
“Sarah Conner is a goner” 🎶 🎵
Didn’t know you had rhymes
You're friggin hilarious! So...I had to subscribe... nicely done!
"I hope you got the right person, 'cause all the other ones are dead." - LEGIT LOL
Plus his hair gets burned/singed and is shorter too, but it's not as noticeable
I would agree T2 is the best action movie only if Fury Road didn't exist.
-OG
New creator?
I like your stuff.
Keep it coming. 👍
I love that Reese wondered what she was thinking about in the picture, and, as it turns out, she was thinking about him.
15:50: "Well at least for once he didn't kill anybody!"
Five seconds later: "Oh wow."
Classic.
That's not a dream, that's how Reece got the scars on his back. >7:06 Classic character development. They don't make 'em like this anymore.
"Where's your helmet?"... May I present you: The Eighties
They shouldn't have deleted his last scene with Reese..
Paul Winfield was an incredible character actor, and always infused quiet humanity in any part he played. He is missed.
The part with the cigarette is really funny, if you know which scene I mean.
@@davidsavage5630 Yes i think it was that scene where he starts to understand that what Sarah and Reese say is true about the T-800
Cool hat girl saying "I'll be back " 🤣 love it.
Whimsory is going to be a YT star ⭐
Another one of my favourite films
Excluding Genesis and Dark Fate, The Terminator timeline is a causal loop.
I got to meet Micheal Biehn at a Comic-Con. He was so cool and down to earth. This is definitely his best role.
"Put that cookie down! Now!" -Arnold
😜👊
top tier editing and reaction, keep it up
I couldn't stop laughing when you swayed your arms around saying I can't do it. LOL
Your fast talking is great...
Ps. Have you seen FireFly, and then Serenity? It's got the best of both worlds, tv..then movie, . And it's sci-fi. Sooo great✌️
I just found your channel today and I love your videos! You seem really sweet and I loved your appreciation to the film and the small details!
She is so nice with her intro love it.
You're fantastic. Keep doing these reactions. Love that you do a post review and that you take notes.
"I'll have something bad to say about the 2nd one."
She has know idea, lol. Can't wait to see her reaction to it. 🙂
Excellent reaction. These kinds of reactions with people who aren't really into watching movies as their main form of entertainment are the best.
I see that this channel is starting with the reactions so I'll be watching for future ones.
Don't be ashamed of where you know Arnie from, those you listed are all bangers.
"What killed the Dinosaurs? ...The ice age!" killer line, peak cinema.
just found ur channel by chance, keep it up ur gonna do well :)
@@bulanet271 Cersei Lannister was an awesome Sarah Connor!
18:05 "What kind of guns are these?" - The answer was given in the gun store scene "Phased plasma rifle, 40 Watt range". :)
And don't be afraid to react to movies that a lot of other channels have reacted to: they're popular for very good reasons! ;)
Beautiful reaction :)
It is a film with a very well-closed script. When Reese tells Sarah that he had a picture of her (the picture the boy makes at the end at the gas station) and wonders what she was thinking... Sarah was thinking about him. It is perfect. Beautiful.
Excellent reaction! It's truly a time capsule of the 80s and one of the best films ever.
Great reaction! I hope you keep doing these classics! "Holy Grail" was fun too! I see you are HUGE on TikTok, are you going to keep doing those? Maybe move some of those here as "shorts"? You are a gifted creator and I will keep watching.👍👍😉
Good reaction video loved it ❤️
"Where's your helmet?" It's the 80s sweetheart, she has enough lacquer on her hair, her head is almost certainly bullet-proof.
That and there were no helmet or seat belt laws in California until years after this was made.
And then you have the movies that were so awful, they're downright awesome in their own way. Plan 9 from Outer Space comes to mind.
You are a natural at reaction videos.
What a treat to see this gem of a movie for the first time! You're in for a ride and a half. :)
I enjoy your Reaction! The way you are - don't ever Change - I love it!!
Whimsory your'e awsome! 😉👍🏼
15:48 "At least for once he didn't kill anybody".
Perfect timing literally seconds before he kills a couple dozen somebodies.
You should watch Just Trust Ash reactions. They are a funny couple.
Keep doing these reactions, it's something of a talent of yours😊. And T1, just beautiful.
Gurl, you are on point. Sorry for the double comment. I look forward to your terminator 2 comments so much. Also I liked and subscribed :)
Loved your reaction, can't wait to see more!
When she said that she knew Arnie from those comedy films, I grinned at the inevitable shock to come.
Oh, by the way, we ARE judging you... and the verdict is .... subscribed.
This was a wonderful reaction. I loved it!
