@@JoeTheFarmer It’s actually the right size. We own 1/2 of a mountain here in north central Washington state, so a 4X4 is a must. It’s the right size for getting into tight spaces when we’re towing a trailer for hauling cut firewood off the mountain, hauling topsoil and steer, or horse manure to our garden areas. We have a small section of our land that is flat, so that’s where we planted a 12 fruit tree orchard. I had to plant the trees in a zigzag pattern because of the size available. That “Jeep” is the perfect size for getting in and around our orchard. The CVT transmission won’t take the abuse of the work for our needs. For that small of an engine, a 3 spd manual transmission would be great. A “granny” gear, then a gear for running up to 15 mph and the 3rd gear for running down the mountain to town to get the mail. During late spring, all summer and early fall everyone who has a side X side uses them for going to town for whatever they need. One of our neighbors has a 2 horse team that pulls his literal wooden wagon to and from town. The same old man has an old Jeep Cherokee that he rolled. He cut the top off of it and removed the rear seats and put a couple of 2X6 on their side for a makeshift tailgate. He wears a helmet when driving it. You didn’t mention the size of the engine, the horsepower or torque. These are important things to know. It would be nice to plow our driveway instead of using the snow thrower. We have to use our tractor to plow our private road. We get 5-7 feet of snow every winter. I’m thinking about getting a plow for my 23 Tacoma TRD Off Road. Then I can stay warm in the cab while plowing. That open tractor gets cold.
where did you buy that one or did they send it to you i know the little 125 is at tractor supply but are they going to be available there or just online, as of now on the massimo website there sold out 😭
That would be very cool. This one actually has the power to run with 4x4. Maybe even a bit larger engine with 4x4 would be cool. What do you think they should charge?
An option for a soft top for rain. 4x4 with low range would be a huge plus. Marine grade cigarette outlet would be nice. Electric fan for the radiator. Snorkel kit add on options. Skid plate for under the body options. Basically, just having it customizable will keep the price low, but you’re able to make it as beefed up as you want it to be.
4wd option, winch mount, bigger radiator and onboard coolant storage. Longer wheel base for a decent storage bed and have the seats actually mounted where it belongs. Option to go to larger power plant, 500cc range would be nice. Just my 2 cents
@@american7169 because maybe 6 foot of bed isnt required... Maybe 2 or 3 feet would do the job. Maybe cause i dont need 5000lbs of rig when 2500lbs would do. Maybe because i dont need an s10.....
I had an 83' CJ7. Never ran right; always ran. Miss that Jeep too...but just got tired of making repairs to it when I couldn't afford it. Thanks for watching!
I like it. Basically a 2wd ATV with car seat and steering wheel. A larger rear rack for a chainsaw/fuel can and carry some tools and I'd really consider one.
It really drives well. The mini jeep is a gokart so not really “balanced” or refined. But this one is really well put together. I could have sworn it had power steering. But I don’t think it does. But the drive ability is very clean. Definitely too stiff on the suspension, but planning to change that.
I like this little puppy. There is little need to make this a 4x4. If you do, you more than double the price and weight. This is mostly a golf cart style chassis. So not intended to take the bashing and beating of a regular 4x4 side by side. This is more in the realm of an old fashioned style dune buggy in form and function. Light weight and rear wheel drive. Maybe use a matching Myers Manx style dune buggy body to avoid the 4x4 impression and underscore it’s a 2x4. And a fun utility ride. Maybe even do some big and littles on the rear/front wheels. Also, with this chassis construction and layout, it could also be offered in an electric battery version with a proper electric motor instead of those cheapie Alibaba washing machine motor EVs people are getting that are terrible drivers and chintzy construction. That big open space between the wheels in the front would house a decent battery.
Keep the slotted grill of the mini. Just a looks thing but I like that look on my mini. Like that it already has a 2” receiver. Very cool lil jeep for sure! Hope to see more of this.

I have a mini Jeep, the rear engined type. It’s just fine for short trips to the pond with a small trailer. I’m interested in this larger one, though. Thanks for showing it.
Im happy to see a shaft driven atv diff. Id love to see lockers and 4x4. Looks like they may have plans to based on the shock placement on the front upper a arms. Its a smaller carbon copy of Early 2000s side by side suspension.
Thanks for sharing that. By your handle chances are you are more of an expert than most. I think it's a really well put together machine. It's a small engine (300 cc's) but it really drives great. Plenty of power. So much fun!
I've seen 4x4 versions available in Asia but none imported to the USA, they have 250-350cc engines all with CVT transmissions (kind of a bummer if you ask me) but the cost would be around $8500 here, probably be better off with a genuine used Jeep.
Id like to see a 4x4 option. A more willy jeep like front. And maybe a cargo net or hook points for a cargo net in the back. Make the windshield collapsible.
The little jeep is a blast, but this one is just different. Still cool and fun to ride; but just more stable and "car" like. I could totally see people using these in a neighborhood or on a good size property. It's not going to replace the workhorse utv's, but it is a capable little machine.
Looks fun, but you look big in it as always! 😆 If it's not 4-wheel, you may need a winch on the front. I think you hit it when you said "light duty side by side". Keep them coming Joe!
Thanks for watching Rook! Yeah, I don’t really get a pass on size. But it’s a fun side by side for a small property where folks want to get some light work done. Will be interesting to see what the market thinks. Hope all is well my friend!!!
So careful with your words. I like how you can say the negatives without saying anything negative. That’s an art and you are a great reviewer bc of it.
Question: Behind the seats can you fit two or three 5-gallon buckets? Options: * For looks, I'd like an option to replace the rail with a roll-bar like a 1979 CJ5. * For practicality, front and rear bumper hooks * For flexibility, 2" receiver in the front bumper Price: Since Tractor Supply sells Massimo's Buck 250 for $6299 they should offer this for $5799
Hey Scott; this is super helpful. Great post. I think 5 gallon buckets could fit pretty easily, I’ll measure. Great idea. My thought was a nice sized cooler and fishing tackle but the bucket makes a ton of sense. And for pricing I think you are where I am at. Thanks for watching!
bigger radiator would definitely something i would need also front tow hooks on front bumper along with a winch mount and maybe option spots for led lights or light bars and maybe an alternator upgrade option for added lights and sound system
I would agree if you need to get work done. The mini jeep really is fun; kind of silly but that's what makes you smile the whole time you are driving it! I especially look ridiculous on it; but it's a blast. This new one really is a light duty sxs. The 2" receiver is a game changer as well as being liquid cooled. It's not going to tow a pallet of concrete, but a small trailer with brush, or firewood, or a rack with fishing tackle would be no problem. The only purpose of the mini jeep is fun...this one is a different story. Thanks for watching!
A roll bar and shoulder belt restraints would be an absolute must for me. Not just for safety but as a platform for some kind of top. Even a minimal bikini top. Then I'd like to see another 2 inch hitch receiver on the front. Would be a good sized machine for parking trailers around the property. That said, unless this sells for around $4K I wouldn't be interested. I'm guessing they're going to sell it for around $5500-$6000 though. At that price, a used Jeep Wrangler starts making more sense.
Love the size and look. 2WD is a deal breaker. I'd like to see a 500 to 550cc engine at the bare minimum. Ideally, I would like to have something like a Mahindra Roxor scaled down to the size of a 600cc side by side.
I totally hear you; but I think it would be so much more expensive. The size is perfect, and it really is comfortable. Maybe one day a 4wd unit will come. But isn’t the Roxor $25k?
@@JoeTheFarmer Roxor base models are listed for $19.5 to $22k in Kansas. I’m assuming the machine you have will be $10k+ being those 120’s are like $5k Guess it depends on how much actual work as well as other uses you are planning to do.. Roxor being a turbo diesel with 4x4 is a huge selling point in my opinion. From what I can tell they can be made into some very capable machines for not a lot of money.. The machine you have there is still pretty go cartish in my opinion, just on a bigger scale. Cool looking little rig tho..
Hey Lane, thanks for the info. The Roxor is the real deal. Turbo diesel will last forever. I think this one lands around 6-7k. The 125 is on sale now for $,2299 at TSC. For $6k its a super fun rig. For $9k I’m buying the TBoss 550. Such a nice machine for the money. Thanks for watching brother!
Looks like a blast to drive. First, let me say I’m not Mr. Safety. But, a passenger restraints would be good (if it doesn’t have them). For some reason, my passengers are always looking for them. A little larger storage area behind the seats with tie down points. 4x4 would be great if there’s enough power to do some off road adventures.
Excellent points brother! It has seat belts for both occupants, and with lighter passengers it would be a must. I like the idea about some storage, one comment mentioned 5 gallon buckets. Would be a great idea! Thanks for watching.
5.995. Just when I thought you had all the fun stuff you could have you bring out this. 😂 It makes more sense than the smaller one for us big kids. Looks like both rear tires drive I doubt it will ever get stuck. 👍
The fun stuff is what makes it interesting! Lol. This one really is cool. Shocks are tight and I’ll fix that. But it sure is cool! Very comfortable for me to drive. The size is perfect. And yeah; getting stuck probably won’t be a problem
I think it really really needs a full body skid plate bolted to the bottom of the frame to protect all the suspension parts, cover empty space for a better look and adding weight down low for better grip and center of gravity
I enjoy watching your videos. I have been looking for something like used golf cart or something like that for us to play on, use in the neighborhood and to take places. You cover about everything in your videos. Awesome job.
Thanks Jay, I appreciate the kind words. I'll be honest, I do wonder at times if the audience will get tired of watching us test/demo new machines! Problem is, I am a total gear head that just loves to tinker with them. Appreciate you coming along for the fun!
It looks like fun. I'd say $5000. Me myself I'd rather save the money and get the smaller one. If I was gonna spend $5000, I'd spend a little more and get a utility side by side. Thank you and God bless Joe
Solid rationale. The smaller one is a blast for sure. And this one will not be much less than a fully loaded sxs. It is fun though! God Bless my friend!
That is awesome!!! I want a mini Jeep but the 125 is I’m afraid too small. This is just big enough to be comfortable with a passenger and actually have enough power/room/suspension to be fun for more than strictly novelty. I think 4,000 is fair. More than that and I’d be shopping for an old yj that would be road legal. Less than that isn’t realistic, sad but true. I have 30 acres, and work on a farm 3 miles up the road. One of these I could drive to “work” and use like crazy on my little farm. The farm I work at we have tons of farm roads, and I can actually drive there thru the fields. The 125 would just work its socks off where this would be genuine fun!!! Please bring it to market massing because I’d like to buy one!
Awesome video! I have the 125cc model and we just got back from testing ours out in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, it’s a 3-episode series. The new one looks like fun and looks to be much more comfortable to drive!
I think they'll charge around $8700 but my 2 cents, it better have things it can do for that, i.e tow & plow are the most important. They can make extra money on a tow behind cart and a special small plow for like the driveway.
This is great. I missed out on getting a Struck mini jeep, but this looks like an upgraded version of that and much more. I hope this company has better succes with their jeep.
I just recently have purchased the exact same massimo bigger jeep and have put bigger wheels on it upgraded suspension iam currently engine swapping it to a ktm 525cc engine it’s gunna be a beast chose that engine because I will be driving it to work
Love the video and look forward to your future torture tests...i mean informative reviews lol. Would love to see a top speed run though. Cannot find the top speed on this anywhere even massimos website.
Can it be made street legal? Also a roll bar with maybe a soft top option, place to mount a stereo/cb? Also a winch on front would be a good option. Maybe better higher backed seats. Oh the mind just reels with all the personal options I would install lol, some cool after market wheels would make this a very cool rig. I loved the 125 cc models and the thing people did with them but this just offers way more possibilities being much bigger. Looks like a ton of fun and a great perfect size to go explore trails and mountain roads. Definitely put some led driving light bars on it. Thanks for previewing this very cool Jeep for us, now if we just knew how much and when they will be available.
Excellent feedback; thank you! Not sure on street legal because that will vary by state. But don’t see why not. It drives great, could totally see people in a beach town or something running these all around! Thanks for watching
You prob saw the small one. This one is massive. The small one is a blast. Y’all have plenty of storage for a fleet of them now! Need to get your barn guys number. They did a solid job. 💪🏼
Needs front hooks, larger coilover shocks all the way around, larger storage area in the rear, a top in case it rains, 4x4 w/ transfer case, larger radiator.
I seen it on Tractor Supply. They want 6999 for it and it listed as a one cylinder seems kind of weak I definitely would like it to maybe a two or four-cylinder. They don’t have to be a real big cylinders, it would help with the polling and if you have like a two adults, we lost smoother takeoff as well and more reliable
The hole in the front is a design carryover from the original Willys jeep. It had a hand crank that went through that hole and to a nut on the crankshaft to start the engine.
It's nicely built I see alot of steel braided lines and solid welding. I like the old school look. They need to utilize more of the front end cargo room though maybe lower the gas tank, have a fill spout, and utilize the front end as a small cargo trunk in a way. Or maybe a hood rack option. Alot of unused space in the front end. All the wieght being in the back and all.
I've had my mini for a few months and the only issues I've had are a leaking bead on a rear tire, 2 bushings in the front were shot when I bought it, the horn button got stuck, and the ignition switch is wearing out already. Me and my son are still having a blast with it though. My spare is still holding air and I am one of the ones who uses the gas can. I wanna go find one of these new ones and play with it for a bit.
This one is fun brother! Glad that you are enjoying the 125. We are too. It's not perfect, but it's a great little machine and loctite goes a long way.
4x4 and at minimum a 500cc motor, real steel bomber on front and a couple of hooks on front for work. This needs to be a sporty vehicle capable of working on the farm or just cruising the country roads. Fun is fun, but it should work some as well.
I agree; some utility makes it easier to spend the money. This machine will absolutely do some light duty work. Not heavy duty hauling, but it's a nice setup for a moderately sized property. As my buddies say; Sure Beats Walkin'!
Been looking at 125’s 200’s and just saw this 300. Considering the Vitacci 200 can be bought unassembled for around $2600 plus $400 shipping, I would probably pay $5000-$5500 for this one. I like that it’s got the radiator and it looks a little beefier than the 200.
I would take as is, but I would have one of our welders reenforce the suspension brackets. The land that I own is pretty rough and undeveloped. I need something light and cheap that can use the "path" that the backhoe made into the interior. I am probably going for a quad, but this is a possibility.
Would tow the log splitter easily. And I agree on a front 2" receiver. Would be a great addition. 4wd would really take it to the next level; but the cost would def go up. Thanks for watching my friend!
Interesting. For future ac/heat? I have a feeling they are just going to keep building these jeeps until they become the real thing! Thanks for watching!
A roll bar would make it easier to enclose this thing. Canvas jeep doors. Also, there are some tiny aftermarket A/C units designed for side by sides. Where’s the radio and Stryker mini CB?
Some storage spots for tools or items in glove box, 4wd or Awd, potentially an enclosure although it might look goofy protection from the elements would be nice and street legal would be fun driving this for my short commute to work
@@JoeTheFarmer 3 miles with a rapid inclined hill perfect for longevity testing with different levels of road terrain. With a little of todays advancement in small engine & after market parts this would be perfect for the back roads!!
I really like the little jeeps but after looking at price vs features little an enclosed top since it occasionally rains and and AC. I decided to go with a Geo Tracker. It surprised me where it would go. Bought it for farm travel and four wheeling. $2000 was what I bought one for. Spent $4500 for a really nice one
If they put in 4wd it would make all the difference. They could clone the es drivetrain from the older rancher 350s or something similar and produce a 4x4 for a very marginal price increase.
4X4 Option is a must for our mountainous area. We own 1/2 of a mountain in north central Washington state and it’d be fun to take up our trails instead of our quads.

@@shumakern that's how much the small ones go for , if I'm not mistaken the cheapest I've seen the little ones was $3,500.
Good luck the 300cc is 6500$
@@603adventures9 oh damn! That's more than I'd ever be willing to pay for one.
Yeah, to many superior proven side by sides out there in 4x4. Now if they made one that looked like a Unimog, then we could talk.
@@JoeTheFarmer Roxor base models are listed for $19.5 to $22k in Kansas. I’m assuming the machine you have will be $10k+ being those 120’s are like $5k
Guess it depends on how much actual work as well as other uses you are planning to do..
Engine is 300cc 18 hp. Wallmart online has it for $6995
I love this as a kit to build with the kids
I love my little mini jeep I ride it everywhere. I put in some accessory's too
I like it. Big enough to get you around and have a little fun and small enough to transport.
Out of my price range but I like it.
Agreed. The size is nearly perfect.
What size engine, 4x4, tow hook, option for cab, and role bar.
This engine is 300cc's. Others are great ideas!
@@JoeTheFarmeratv style engine or side shaft lawnmower style? What hp is it rated at?
I think it really really needs a full body skid plate bolted to the bottom of the frame to protect all the suspension parts, cover empty space for a better look and adding weight down low for better grip and center of gravity
$4k would be a good deal. $3.5K would be a GREAT deal.
I agree $3500 is spot on. Not a dollar more
Thanks for the feedback!
Appreciate you watching; thanks for the feedback!
$3.5 LIMIT NO MORE
I enjoy watching your videos.
For $5k, you can get an old, ratty actual Jeep.
You can actually get a pretty nice jeep for 5K
I think the windscreen should fold forward.
Excellent feedback. Totally agree, that would be great. Thank you!
Awesome video! I have the 125cc model and we just got back from testing ours out in the Colorado Rocky Mountains, it’s a 3-episode series. The new one looks like fun and looks to be much more comfortable to drive!
SO much more comfortable!!!
Needs 4WD. Wouldn't even consider it without
Fair enough. Don't blame you...
Taking diff out of a quad easy enough to make 4x4. Can't wait to get one.
I think they'll charge around $8700 but my 2 cents, it better have things it can do for that, i.e tow & plow are the most important. They can make extra money on a tow behind cart and a special small plow for like the driveway.
Thanks for watching Michael, and great points! Accessories could be a real money maker.
So golf cart size... that's cool
Pretty much. The size is awesome...small enough to be nimble but big enough to comfortably ride.
No rollover protection for riders.
I agree it should have ROPS. Or at least the option for them. Thanks for watching Richard!
No, we die like men!
🤣🤣🤣🫡💪🏼
4x4 is needed for sure
5k
I think that's the ballpark also. Thanks for watching Richard!
This is great. I missed out on getting a Struck mini jeep, but this looks like an upgraded version of that and much more. I hope this company has better succes with their jeep.
This one is pretty awesome! And much more useful.
I love it. I would like it to have 4 wheel drive with a winch.
It's a blast! Looking forward to doing some chores with it.
That looks like plain old fun, Joe!
It is!!! So much fun...and way more useful than the little one. Thanks for watching Ed.
I just recently have purchased the exact same massimo bigger jeep and have put bigger wheels on it upgraded suspension iam currently engine swapping it to a ktm 525cc engine it’s gunna be a beast chose that engine because I will be driving it to work
That's awesome man. Where did you get it? Didn't think they were out yet.
I am from, and live in Alabama. That was not a test, "we" would trust, as far as performance. Looking forward to the next one.
It will get a test my friend. Thanks for watching!
LOL, tough terrain. I live in AZ. Your farm would be the nicest place to ride where I live. Im not sure we even have a place that smooth out here.
Cool man.
Mint little jeep
Love the video and look forward to your future torture tests...i mean informative reviews lol. Would love to see a top speed run though. Cannot find the top speed on this anywhere even massimos website.
Thanks for the support brother! More to come soon!
Thats a cool ride just to ride around on!
We were looking at those the other day. Nice ride. Might have to get one
That is a cool little machine, Joe! My son, Caden would love one like that.
Thanks Lucas! Tell Caden come to Tennessee! We have all kinds of things to get him in trouble! BTW, just picked up the coffee. THANK YOU!
One of these days we will take you up on it! 👊 Enjoy! ☕️
Lucas, we need to see you and Caden race up the hill in one. 🛠️
@@HammerWrench oh yeah! 👊
Looks like the only thing you didnt do was run to the store for a soda and a sammich 😂 Fun video!!
Ha! That part wasn’t on video. 🤣
A roof option,4x4 option brush guard winch options.
I'd like an LS swap option. On a serious note a small diesel option would be cool. It must have 4x4.
Diesel would be amazing; LS...EVEN BETTER!
A true jeep grill!
I want one....tell Santa I been a good boy.....🤣🤣🙂
Would it be honest? Lol. Thanks for watching!
More power is always good. 2 speed transfer case - would
Be a blast to put a little
Bigger tire on, and rock crawl
In it.
Totally agree. A mini rock crawler would be a blast.
perfect for the harbor freight towable backhoe 😁
YES!
I like it! So far!
It's a blast!
Nice rig. I can't wait to afford one. I wonder if their gonna build any in 4x4
The hole in the front is a design carryover from the original Willys jeep. It had a hand crank that went through that hole and to a nut on the crankshaft to start the engine.
That's cool! I didn't know that. To me, my first thought was "It's a Willys!"
Very cool
I need one of those. And a farm to drive it on 😁
Amen Brother. I pray you have both soon!!!
A Winch would be great!
It's a pretty complex machine. Simple, but thought was put into it. Fun to drive too!
Well good thing i waited
Needs a hot tub,a rocket launcher, and a mini fridge !! 😂😂😂
At the very least!
😊 Awesome Thanks
Thanks for watching!
Im in middle Tennessee too, very rocky place, flipped my buddys 4 wheeler because a damn rock
YIKES! Glad you are ok. It's not called Rocky Top for nothing. Lol. Appreciate you watching!
That radiator should be adequate too cool that tiny engine!!
@@JoeTheFarmer were loving the 125, im hoping to have one of the bigger ones next year probably.
I live in area where you can drive golf carts on side roads..Id be using it all the time
Nice, one for adults now.
Yessir! Thanks for watching
Been looking at 125’s 200’s and just saw this 300. Considering the Vitacci 200 can be bought unassembled for around $2600 plus $400 shipping, I would probably pay $5000-$5500 for this one. I like that it’s got the radiator and it looks a little beefier than the 200.
Way beefier than the 200; it's a pretty large machine. Very stable. If you plan on putting a lot of hours on it, I would hold off for this one.
I would take as is, but I would have one of our welders reenforce the suspension brackets. The land that I own is pretty rough and undeveloped. I need something light and cheap that can use the "path" that the backhoe made into the interior. I am probably going for a quad, but this is a possibility.
It's light and nimble like a quad; but o 4x4. Plenty of power and steers great. Could be a cool hybrid work/play machine.
Love it what is the top speed? Thanks dave.
Hey Dave! I took it to 40 mph and then decided to back off. Still breaking the enging in. It will move for sure.
Looks like i coild tow my log spilitter and put a couple saws and gas in the back .front 2" i think . the only thing is im on a mountain so 4wd .
Would tow the log splitter easily. And I agree on a front 2" receiver. Would be a great addition. 4wd would really take it to the next level; but the cost would def go up. Thanks for watching my friend!
An option for a cab would be nice.
Very nice just needs a top and or enclosed for winter,
Nice little machine! Great size and looks like a lot of fun!
It is a blast my friend. Not sure how I fell into being the mini jeep guy; but it sure is fun!
Looks good to me
Thanks for watching!
4X4 and extend the front frame/bumper supports and widen the bumper to mid-line of the wheels. Add tow hooks.
Some storage spots for tools or items in glove box, 4wd or Awd, potentially an enclosure although it might look goofy protection from the elements would be nice and street legal would be fun driving this for my short commute to work
All great ideas. Thanks for sharing! I would easily drive it a couple miles to work. It’s a pretty stable rig.
@@JoeTheFarmer 3 miles with a rapid inclined hill perfect for longevity testing with different levels of road terrain. With a little of todays advancement in small engine & after market parts this would be perfect for the back roads!!
Its been great! But I definitely need to soften the suspension in the hay fields! Lol
It looks like they're available now for $7k. Honestly I would have guessed more. Not bad.
Thanks for watching Super Hampster!
Geo Trackers were the Samurai replacement. They are legendary sxs's. Just wouldn't ever want to be on the highway with one! Appreciate you watching.
So very cool, I have a JK, this is sweet.,,,,perfect for European wine fields. But for 7k, idk I could get a used TK for that
If they put in 4wd it would make all the difference.
They could clone the es drivetrain from the older rancher 350s or something similar and produce a 4x4 for a very marginal price increase.
Excellent feedback. They will read these notes so great comment. Thanks for watching!
4X4 Option is a must for our mountainous area.
We own 1/2 of a mountain in north central Washington state and it’d be fun to take up our trails instead of our quads.
Totally agree. It's like a really large quad with a passenger seat.
@@JoeTheFarmer That’s what I was thinking.
very helpful
Appreciate you watching!
