I didnt hear it mentioned, so I'll mention it here. If you need more condi cleanse and ventari true nature plus staff 4 (renewing wave) isnt enough, save staff 4, use ventari bubble (protective solace) and then use staff 4 for an additional cleanse by blast finishing in the light field. Works in any light field but most reliable one is your own😁. Good guide overall, well done
That's a very good point about blasting Staff 4 in the Protective Solace light field. Will need to make sure I crack that out on Slothasor haha. Glad you enjoyed the guide.
Amazing, thanks for the guide! Quickness Healbrand is my main, and honestly, this build looks as good, or maybe even better. Uses almost identical gear, too.
Very nice guide, Ventari empowered elite skill also now grants 3 stacks of stability so you don't HAVE to use jalis for stability BUT it's still easier to stab your group on jalis.
Thank you :) It's so good having access to Sability of Ventari now. It does take a little getting used to as you need to make sure your Tablet is Empowered before you can actually give Stability. It does mean though that you can have the best of both worlds with the insane Ventari healing and Stability access though.
I've always hated herald, and always played renegade but with all the changes and seeing it can now play qheal, I'm definitely gonna try it! Thanks for the guide Also, how didnt I find your channel sooner? Definitely a follow :)
Thank you for this comprehensive guide! It was great listening to the explanation in a nice pace of what skills to use in what order. I will be re-watching it again once i start gearing up/practising. Looking forward to the next one. Regards, MissBadger
Thanks so much MissBadger :) I'm glad you enjoyed the guide. Feel free to hit me up if you have any questions about Heal Herald when you start gearing it. I can rant about this class for days haha.
Never played any kind of healer/tank in any group content, but this awesome guide (as usual) excites me! I don't raid (yet) nor do fractals above T1 (lazy, too busy farming and fishing!) and very occasionally do strikes with chill guild. Mostly as alac/dps specter. Given my inexperience with tanking/healing, and I'm generally not great at keeping eye on what is happening to party members lol - tho slightly improving with my wells - you'd recommend the harriers build? Got two pieces of heavy legendary gear so far, and no problem stat-swapping (or crafting extra pieces of) ascended armor (my Ventari-themed rev - untouched for years - is running cleric it seems!) No issues with weapons and trinkets.
So glad you enjoyed the guide! I do enjoy some alac/dps specter as well, the barrier you can pump out is amazing. If you're just starting out on Herald and don't want to tank I'd recommend going full Harrier's. If you have legendary gear you can swap pieces out for Minstrel/Giver's if you want a bit of extra survivability. If you went this route I wouldn't go above 1500 toughness or so. Any dedicated tank should easily be able to get above that in if not... they're trolling haha.
Agreed, it's by far and away my favorite Quickness Healer. The only time I swap off it (unless I'm working on a different guide) is when I specifically need group Aegis or reflects.
After trying out Heal Firebrand, Druid and Tempest, Heal Herald is still my favourite to play. Let's hope it stays that way after the upcoming balance patch.
I think Heal Herald will end up with an overall buff from this patch. Having the opportunity to provide quickness in other legends just gives it more options.
@@connorconcarne I fear that it will be way harder to keep all those juicy boons from Glint up permanently, since we won't have Draconic Echo anymore for the quickness builds.
@connorconcarne i play HFB, I like to try different builds. Which build do you think it's better for Fractals n Raids between HFB n HHerald? Maybe I'll play HH. HFB it's sometimes bored 😬
I play both Heal Herald and Heal Firebrand in Fractals/Raids and they both work totally fine. In Fractals I'd give the edge to Firebrand because it has more access to 'on-demand' stability with Stand Your Ground + Mantra of Liberation whereas Herald needs to swap legends to provide it. The aegis can be nice to skip some mechanics as well. The other day I ran Herald for all my Fractal CMs + T4's and it was smooth as butter as well though. In raids I tend to prefer Herald on any fight where I don't need Aegis or Reflects (mostly Matthias), or if I don't need uber quick access to stability (Slothasor). I have a much easier time keeping up quickness given you apply it in a much larger radius and you massively overcap on boon duration. I also find it to be much more durable with the channeled block and Glint Heal.
@@connorconcarne I never expected such a complete answer. I really appreciate you taking the time to respond, it's amazing to know that the GW2 community is amazing. Infinitas gracias 😊
After the last round of balance changes this build is even better than ever. Just make sure to swap Draconic Echo for Elevated Compassion to upkeep quickness.
Haha, we still have a few Revenant builds up our sleeve (Power Vindicator, Condi Renegade and Condi Quickness Herald). After that we'll need to branch out into PVP and WvW haha.
Celestial Heal Herald works quite well. It's actually what I used for the new Fractal 100CM the other week. The main thing you're missing out on is some reduced healing in exchange for more damage compared to the Harriers or Minstrel/Giver's sets. Celestial Herald is absolutely incredible for solo play as well.
@@connorconcarne Will it lose out on healing? using celestial on your advice from twitch just playing with the golem currently and it seems im always dead before the facet of light comes back off cooldown, maybe im missing something
The build is still fantastic (and slightly better than it was due to Ventari giving Stability now). After the next patch it will be even better with the reduced Quickness application interval and free boon duration you'll be getting.
You did not mention the best stat combination - Apothecary's :) . You have low BD with it, but very good DPS for a healer. Especially good for greeding with damage a bit, while also being able to quickly heal if necessary.
Hi :) In general, I wouldn't use a Heal Build in solo/open world content. It will take you too long to defeat enemies as this build is more focused on supporting your team. The Power Quickness Herald build however is amazing in Open World.
People are sleeping on Rev in general. It is literally the best class amongst all in current. What I mean by that is... It has extremely good builds across all specs including damage, quickness, and alac boon supports. Even Alac Heal Ren is amazing. In my opinion, quickness dps supports outshine alac dps in GW's current state, so I'd almost always recommend Alac Heal over Quick Heal... But Herald is amazing so it doesn't matter too much. TLDR. Rev is amazing and can do anything across any Elite Spec. Don't sleep on Heal Alac Ren.
Totally agree that Rev is the best overall class at the moment. Such build diversity, can cover off on every role and be good at them at the same time. I do need to spend some time messing with Heal Alac Renegade. I've always enjoyed playing it in the past. Just wish it covered off on a few more key boons haha.
@@connorconcarne i usually do a cele/pack rune set up which covers the might with Kala F2, other than that.. Kala also it keeps up great alac, prot, fury, and regen. You could also get more regen uptime with ventari, and optional util from jalis.
You'll get quickness from having 6 or more points of 'upkeep' and having the trait Elevated Compassion. Just have the energy arrows pointing to the left and you'll pulse quickness.
I think more and more people are happy to take this over Firebrand. I'd personally be more confident in a random Heal Herald to upkeep 100% quickness than a random Heal Firebrand. The large boon application radius and insane levels of boon duration give you so much room for error.
I didnt hear it mentioned, so I'll mention it here.

Why thank you :) Turns out there was more gearing options than I initially thought when I started making this guide.
I find myself looking forward to each build you put out. Good stuff! Thank you.
You're most welcome :) That's so kind of you to say. Thank you.
For anyone new to the game, like me, this class branches off of Revenant. A class that is obtained in the Heart of Thorns expansion.
Thanks for this guide. I reslly wanted to maintaing maining my revnant for raids and feactals and with this buils i can tank and heal which is amazing

I can vouch... this build is an absolute banger haha.

Haha well I hope you enjoy it! This build has been carrying me hard whenever I need to tank on stream and am super distracted by chat.
Man I think I need to try Herald, these latest builds look like so much fun!
Herald is really OP man. Damage and utility is bonkers.
Definitely recommend. I tanked with it on tonight's stream and it was the easiest time I've ever had tanking. Absolutely incredible.

Heal Herald is my favorite Quickness Healer. It's great on every encounter that doesn't need you to provide Aegis.
Aegis too strong 😢
Most hb don't use it effectively though

Hello, is the Celestial gear viable for this build?
Celestial Gear would work just fine. That's what I used for ages when I would use Quickness Heal Herald on Fractal 100 CM.
As a HFB-Main, I never thought I would flirt with Heal-Quickness-Herald
Yet here we are
It's so nice to have a decent alternative to HFB. I find providing boons on this build to be so much more consistent.

Hello, did they change it again? I mean removed quickness from Elevated Compassion? I just came back into the game
Welcome back to the game! Elevated Compassion will still give quickness in PVE. I don't believe it does in WvW and PVP through.
