It's great to see how you can still do very good damage without weapon swapping. The snowcrows build tells you to also use scepter/dagger, but I feel like unless you're very good with your timing you'll do more damage sticking to one weapon set. It's the same with power harbinger and reaper. I used to do greatsword and dagger/sword, but I tested it with the golem and found that I wasn't doing more damage with the weapon swap, so I just stick to the greatsword only on power necro builds.
Thanks for the great video. One thing that prevents me from playing condi harbinger is the 15k max life at 25 blight. I'd be more comfortable adding more celestial / ritualist's gear and doing a more difficult rotation if needed but there don't seem to be any benchmarks available with group buffs / conditions to see what is possible. There are SOLO benchmarks to compare vipers / celestial / ritualist which seem close in dps, but the difference might be big with group buffs. I would love to compare different ways to make things easier, for example, Viper's hard rotation vs Viper's easy rotation vs Celestial/Ritualist hard rotation, vs Celestial/Ritualist easy rotation to see the changes in what dps is possible in exchange for different ease of use / comfort options.
You're never going to see Celestial used for a group dps build benchmark because the toughness will fuck with the tank. If you want to add survivability you can, but Celestial will never the way to do it.
@@SheenaMalfoy Yeah it won't be able to be full Celestial since that will go over 1400 toughness. There is a Celestial/Ritualist build with 1350 that looks nice where someone recently solo'd Cairn with it.
@@kyounokaze why on earth would you take a build capable of soloing Cairn and bring it into group content!? That's what your supports are for, that much celestial and you're griefing your teammates. A bit of extra health is one thing, but toughness, healing power, and concentration are wasted stats in the face of a true healer, and your dps suffers from it big-time.
@@SheenaMalfoy I plan on doing no KP content with it where a true healer is not guaranteed so the defences won't be wasted, and will be a comfortable way to learn the rotation and mechanics. With a true healer, I'm more worried about being oneshot on harbinger rather than facing sustain issues, so hopefully the healer is a scourge that gives a lot of barrier to prevent one shots. DPS shouldn't be an issue with a build that can solo kill a boss with only their damage and no group boons or debuffs. The benchmarks made by the player also show celestial and viper gear to have similar dps, and his build without boons or golem debuffs, has similar dps to snowcrows benchmarks from 5 years ago with boons and debuffs. Powercreep has made builds like this more than viable and comfortable. Speaking of powercreep making builds viable, Ceres CM was recently done with 6 unload only deadeyes for their dps. Just because a build isn't optimal, doesn't mean it isn't perfectly viable.
With the amount of poison you're inflicting, both with pistol, the elixirs skills and/or the Corrosive Poison Cloud, I would use Relic of the Blightbringer instead.
Couldn't break 38K with this setup, so I made some creative changes. Swap Elixir of Ambition with Plaguelands, and the utility from Toxic Focusing Crystal to Writ of Masterful Malice. Pinged out 39k a few times after that, just link up the same Blood is Power/Plague Signet with Plaguelands and don't clip Soul Barbs until you get that last cast of Dark Barrage off. But mind you, this is after perfect timing, so I'm just going to call it a solid 38k build lol.
Another very informative look at a class and build. Love what you are doing. Just to clarify: Use weapon skills and utilities L to R or use them R to L. You said Right to Left but it looked like you used them Left to Right. Am I being too nitpicky? ;)
yeah, I ended up using condi repaer with 1k higher dps. I dont like having condi transfer because it ended up cleansed in fractal/raid wich also reduce your dps

The boons next to your character are an addon? Does it display more info? What is it?
It’s either clarity or reffect, both can only slow things that the ui shows, and neither can show cooldowns or work in competitive modes.

Hey nice build have you got one for the power harbinger?
Can't do more than 29k average with this build. Followed what you said on the guide with the priority and such

How do you put buff icon in the middle of screen
Thats just an image of the buffs it can apply to himself...alac should not he there
How does Insidious Disruption work on bosses? Also if not providing quickness isn't it better with maybe Signet of Spite over Elixir of Anguish?
The CC skills still apply torment to bosses, Insidious Disruption still works. The elixir is taken to help maintain blight stacks.
@@orbing it applies torment when you CC a boss while it is casting a skill (not always), with a 3 second cooldown
I’m gonna try this build for sure. I’ve been playing reaper but it’s just kinda…. Eh. Not for me 😂

It's still high if you're using it in real situation
