Wow... for a couple of noobs, you guys have really risen to the occasion and flipping NAILED IT... Much respect and sincere admiration are floating your way from the Rocky Mountains of NW Montana. You two are a VERY effective team!
I love how you left room for a baby! I have never seen any camper with that design in mind. Oh the regular house fridge nice! That bed has definitely given me an idea, thank you. Thank you The OutFit!!
Pat yourselves on the back guys, you have done an amazing job for two novices, absolute weapon of truck, looking forward to your next adventure, have fun and stay safe
9:41 most new fridges nowadays have hardware that allows you to flip the hinges to open either left or right. I've got a feeling yours comes with that. It only takes 5 mins to change..
Have you thought about a shelf that's hinged across the back that covers your toilet when showering and folds back against the wall for using the toilet
Very nicely planned, designed and built. You've made great use of a very small space. I'm impressed how much functional equipment you got in there and how well organized it all is.
Thank you so much for going over the entire build. I am building a smaller version on my ford f350 and this is going to help tremendously. Thanks again and I love the channel!
It looks brilliant and you're still looking to improve the build, adding a cot for a little Chris or Ange that will be fun travelling around and what a fantastic way to start life. It will never be that clean again.🤣
Nice build! Very nice use of space and well done for no experience. I think some of your dad rubbed off on you for sure even though you mention you didn't hang out a lot. He'd be proud of you guys! Great reviews, inside and out.
I came here for the bed lift system, which I had a concept brewing in my mind - would love a parts list and sources of providers for that. I also love how you’ve done everything about the composting toilet, but needs a drop down cover for when the shower is in use, rather than a plastic sheet. Lots of well thought out detail in this van.
Thanks for a great wrap up of the interior build, so much attention to detail and effective use of space. So many new skills acquired. Keep up the great work and travel safe
for the bed run 2 metal strips down the uprights and connect one to live one to negative assuming its 12v. on the bed mount spring loaded metal wheels or a spring loaded metal strip with metal mount that sit against the upright strips wire each wheel to the light circuit
That is the coolest vehicle! Going through the inside just shows how great a job you did fitting it out! Congrats on a great job and thanks for sharing. It would be interesting on how much it cost.
I'll be honest, I've been watching your videos since you first got the mog and had that disaster with the company that built the shell. Watching you putting the interior together looks like a shit show... Looking at it today, I'm impressed, you've both done a great job. I'm glad I didn't post a negative comment at the time, I was very much an armchair critic! Congrats to you both, what a great build you have ended up with.
Chris, worth building a bit of a cover that you can put sound proofing in, that can go over the water pump? Might be worth trying before replacing it for something quieter?
Wow that's next level guys. Very well thought out And I love that sleeping area. Agree on the pulley set up. One thing less that can go wrong. Regarding your cream coloured roof vent, why don't you just spray paint it white? Thanks for sharing
Beautiful cabinetry work Chris, a real eye for detail. Those coffee cup coasters look 'Quality'. Looks like you've proven me wrong when I thought your 240v fridge would chew all your power. Happy to admit my error of judgement. I did warn you about that Merbau timber and its leaching tannins though. :-) Cheers, Marty from Perth
Have yous run out of power with your 400ah battery bank, if you get a few days of rain and aren't driving? Love this build. Have been watching from the start. :)
We have actually been lucky with the weather so far but actually in next week's vlog we touch base on the subject! Thank you so much for following along since the beginning :)
You've both done a great job. Extremely impressive. However, for safety purposes, fire equipment should never be near the stove or near the fire risk. It should always be near the door. If you get a fire near the safety equipment, you might not be able to get it. And you want to be fighting it from near the door so you can get out if need be. The only exception is an area like the bed that has to pass the risk area to get out. That might be worth having a second small extinguisher there to reduce the risk of getting trapped. Otherwise, fantastic.
Great to follow you both on your adventures. Love it and thanks for sharing with us all. I have a question about the electrics cupboard. What is the device on the ceiling, the round object. Smoke detector?? I have a concern from your spear fishing video back on my birthday in January. The orange power cord used to power the induction hub. If what I saw it was a long red cord coiled up on the table. This is a no no. The cord can heat up as when power goes thro the coils it produces an electric field. This heats the cord and reduces the power given to the appliance. I suggest you use a short cord. Hope this helps. Otherwise we really i joy your trips and feel envious!!!
Great build Guys, WOW what a head ache just thinking about it and where to start. Very nice job. Oh your fridge lock where did you get them and what brand are they. TIA.
Great wrap up of the build guys which I have watched from day one of the project. One question where did you get the magnetic spice rack from please Cheers and keep up the great vids 2auskiwis
Thank you Paul for following the channel for so long! We share some photos on Instagram but we don't have a dedicated website for them. Is that something you would be interested in?
Oh, one thing you didnt address is stabilizing the items in the fridge while trekking across land, especially in more technical landscape.....being that you don't have a chest fridge.
@@TheOutFit what is the company name? And do you remember the rough price for just the box? I’m struggling to find someone. Thanks for your reply love your videos
@@adventuresoflukejames2643 Unfortunately we had some issues with the company so we wouldn't recommend them. We did a full price breakdown video here : ruclips.net/video/iiSzKmrgQ_k/видео.html
I did the same thing covering my toilet in my wet bath. I also have made covers for my acrylic windows that could be scratched by a bunny's ass. I'd much prefer safety glass windows.

Great attention to detail. Lots of intentional design. Love the focus and insights on the materials used.

Well done on building the RV and RUclips channel guys!
I’m wondering how much in weight did you end up adding to the truck?
Thanks a lot Mike. The mog was 6.4T when we got it and now 9.2T fully loaded with 400L of water and 360L of diesel.

Impressive build. But whiy you dont made yore fridge open to another side. Isnt it more comfortable? All fridge usually have this opotunity.
Thank you! No unfortunately we tried but we couldn't change the hinge on this model.

Did you guys built the actual box? Or are these able to be ordered/made? 😍
The box was assembled locally in Perth by a manufacturer to our custom dimensions and requests and we did the entire fitout ourselves.
