I really enjoyed seeing your lovely Dolly, and hearing about the fantastic adventure you're having with her. A tad smaller, but my wife and I have covered the same ground with a highly customized Westfalia Syncro. Traveling in such a capable 4WD camping vehicle opens possibilities that are unimaginable for a massive motorhome. What's the point of traveling if docking a highway cruise ship at an RV park is the same cultural experience over an over again? Happy trails.
Enjoy every minute of it, this was a dream I could not afford. just a bit of information Unimogs can come with a faster transaxle I believe it takes the speed up to 65mph 70kph. Just remember you are never lost just taking the route god has planned for you.
Hey guys, Just discovered your channel, Thankyou for the mention of motorcraft in the uk website - Love the hinges!! & the safari hatch! Still in the researching phase at the moment before comitting to a purchase😅 > Looking into the aussie made UL1700L & UL2450L Still tossing and turning which one😂😂😂❤ I will look through your current vids, if by any chance you havnt done a complete build specs vid, would you guys mind making one on what websites used in the development of Dolly please❤ Cheers Ben
Nice rig! Been tossin around the idea of a setup. Have a mog now. But wondering, how often have you really needed portals? Simce yer down in warm land, any temp issues with them? Cheerz guyz. Lookin like a good time.
Really enjoy watching your program. Trying to convince my British wife to buy a unimog or similar and see the world. Perhaps you can talk some sense into her. 😂
love the idea, but if you dont really need the capeability of the unimog, go for a axor (also mercedes truck, but better base for a not ultrahard 4x4 camper
Good question. We have propane for cooking so we’re not completely reliant on one fuel source. I’d been told that diesel heaters need to run continuously otherwise they start to clog up with soot. I had this happen on our previous Unimog. Because the box is highly insulated it should soon get up to temp then shut off the heater. Oh - the gas heater also provides out hot water too 👍
Enjoyed the video! Nice Dolly! Do you carry extra fuel filters and parts for your travels? You may run into bad fuel now and then. Washington State, U.S.A.
@@dollysdiary160 not sure about the best sodas, we have Irwins bakery, Nutty Crust plain loaf, sodas etc 😋 still have a few home bakeries in the town as well, actually worked as an apprentice Baker in Irwins back in 1976 loved working on the hotplate, warm sodas straight of the griddle, lashings of butter, couldn't beat it with a big stick, take care girl and all the very best 😀
I love Tacomas! But, there are not many similarities between a Taco and a UniMog. The Tacoma would fit inside the kitchen of the UniMog. Thanks for watching!
Man, you're not even comparing apples with oranges here. You're comparing an apple with a raspberry. The Toyota is a great vehicle, but your comparison is wrong from start to finish. Just look at the dimensions and the off-road possibilities. The UNIMOG has big advantages there.
You should learn about England, You could discover how far it goes from the southern part of it... You could actualy discover other continent while staying England.
I saw this truck at a campground in Banff I was staying in. I remember it so well as I am in LOVE with the HUGE side window. VERY well thought out!!!
Oh wow! Thanks for mentioning this. Very cool.

Thank you so much! We agree and love being able to get to the wild places. Your Synchro sounds amazing.
What a truck ,absolutely love it.
loved the set up in your Unimog camper, very well thought out and practical. that cook top is very cool, the full side fridge would be very handy
Nice to meet you folks, love from Canada. I've just enjoyed my first of your videos, keep up the great work.
Welcome aboard!
Superb rig! Safe travels.
Thanks 👍 Dolly is amazing!
Very lovely family, thanks for the video.
Thanks for watching!
Hayallerim ve izlediğim hayatlar..
Great tour and folks
Thanks for watching! Agreed!
What an incredible setup. Such a delightful couple. Thanks for sharing.
Yes, It was a pleasure to tour Baja with them.
Yes, more amazing people we have met on the road... Just like you!
Aw - thank you Sadie ❤
Love it. Just for fun you guys should roll into one of those Rv parks for a night and look down on all the other rigs.
We did. Dan a and Geraldine get tons of looks and questions. Especially at the RV Park.

I’ll give it a shot. Hope to see you both out there. Thanks for watching.
If she likes that, she will love the Unimog.

Best think you’ll ever do 👍
Did you ever consider changing from gas to diesel heating?
Good question. We have propane for cooking so we’re not completely reliant on one fuel source.

May I know where can I buy the toilet fan
There is one on BAT currently. Nice rigs.
I just looked on BAT. So neat. Some day I want to own a UniMog!
good to hear you still got that glaswegian accent
😂😂😂
Why the door is at the left side?
This truck was built in the UK.
Man I cannot find that cooktop anywhere in the US. Anyone know where to get one?
Sorry, I wish I could help. This one came from the UK.
One question,do you require HGV license to drive the mog ..? Regards and best wishes from Wales 🏴
You don’t need one in the states. I’m not sure about in the UK.
It comes under the 7.5 tonne rule - above which you need a Class II HGV licence. We are over 7.5t so I took my HGV test back in Nov 2021 👍
Nice truck - well done! What type of Unimog is it?
it’s an ex-Red Cross 2006 Unimog U3000
Hi do you have a HGV license to drive that. What weight is it ?? Many thanks
No need for a special license in the US or Mexico.
Most english glaswegian accent ive ever heard Dan 😂
best car🎉❤❤
good journey🍀
Thanks ✌️
Well done 15 year unmiog
Geraldine, did you star in the TV series, Ozarks?
I don't think so...
Darlene ?? 🤣
Louth or Down? 😂
Who builds these? Can you link the website?
It was built custom by MotorCraft in the UK. Gorgeous work. www.motorcraftadventuredevelopments.com
Do you have a webasto heater?
They do have a diesel heater. I’m not totally sure if it’s a Webasto or other brand.
Sorry Peter but it’s a propane heater made by ALDE in Sweden but they sell them worldwide.
Мне понравился ваш автодом и снаружи и внутри!👍👋
Much thanks!
What driving licence you need to drive a unimog.?
There is no special drivers license needed in the US, Canada or Mexico.
Did it take you much time to get used to driving a UNIMOG?
This is our third Unimog. The older ex-military ones can be a bit challenging to drive initially but you do get used to it quite quickly 👍
Dead on love! lol
I’ll bet changing a tire on it is “fun”. How does one person do it?
The tire is winched up and down on the rear of the Unimog.
There’s a video on our YT channel. We got a puncture in January in California… 😢
The peace of mind that must come with sleeping ten feet off the ground..
Yea, great for Alaska.
Cool
👍👍👍
Actually there are 3 manufacturers. BKT.
GTK. Thanks.
She likes gadgets 😊
Your not Scots girl, what part of Norn Iron re you from, I’m from “Pordydown”

Irish and english , not scotish? Subscribed :D
They have lived in Scotland for the last 30 years.
I would get a bigger winch 12,000 lbs dont that unimog weigh more than that
12000 lb winch is enough
100% I have a 12000 pounder in my triton lol
