A lot of respect for Ange, this is for sure not good for your cortisol levels 😱 and for the way you keep your head cool (at least on video 😂). Very, very nice video from you, just great.
A Unimog, is normal not to destroy, if oil and air filter, as well as all oils, engine, transmission and differential are always changed. Logical, lubricate everything else. With a lot of love, a Unimog comes through everywhere, like a GAS 66, GMC, or Ford truck. He needs a lot of love, because he understands you.
We used to have drivers who drove stupidly and brainlessly, the Unimogs would break down, never a problem with those who liked them. I had from 1976 - 2019, to do with all models. Oh yes, the Unimog with 8 cylinders and 5.6 liter engine is not dead to get, as well as the 3 liters not. Have a nice day, stay healthy and greetings from Frankfurt.

We went up from Brisbane to Cairns in a plastic camper and then to Daintree in a smaller Ford. Then we had to leave. But guess what, we‘re building a Unimog our own for a year now, a U1650 / ex hay transport. Has a 366 turbo engine, small frame and 3.25m wheel distance so it is smaller then your Mog. We‘ll go to Australia in it as we have relatives in Adelaide, but it will take a few years still.

Thanks for watching Craig! When we go offroading we make sure we secure any potential small items that could move around and also do our normal checks (lock drawers etc). Thanks for watching Oilio. We are 3.55m high, 2.4m wide and 7m long. Our tyre pressure was around 40 psi as there was good traction but otherwise we drop more if need be. Hard to say what was the fuel consumption for the track but usually between 28 and 35l/100 offroad.
The Mog is registered as a 3 seater and we have an engineer building a proper seat base for us.

Mogs are not content unless they get to lift at least one of their wheels each day ; )
I've only just found this channel so I don't know your history, but perhaps it'd be good to pay a few bucks and take an advanced off-raod skills course. I'm sure there must be a few in Aus.
It's just to give you more confidence in what you and your Mog can do (and to know when to take the alternate route). You're doing great, already, but imagine doing it with no stress and just smiles because you KNEW exactly how far you can safely push the Mog.
